First of all, thank you for you reaction on this absolutly stunning Band and Song. My strong impression was too, that it is refering to suicide. BUT here I need to say, that this was one of the Songs that helpt me trough a dark time with trought like this. Yes it seems to 'encourage' it, but no it just speaks out what is in the head of a suicidal person anyway. The Line "For whatever you will decide, you're wrong" is very elemental and is emphazising the neverending dread of a situation like this. It is a hard theme and a wakeup call..and a vent, a vent you can pour all your pain into, because Music can do this too.
Either way, it helped me a great deal and even now that I am in a muuuch happier place I still love this Song.
And for all suffering, please accept or reach out for help, there is no shame in it.

The Song "Fields of Sorrow" is about the killing of his wife, while "Come with me to the other side" is the depression after the loss and he tries to commit suicide and in "Gunman" he is about to get his revenge.

Thanks again mate! I'm not really sure on the true meaning behind the song but like you, my first impression was it was referring to something along the lines of suicide.
These guys do tend to sing about stuff thats quite dark but musically, they're brilliant and their songs are catchy as hell.

On my playlist there's only one Orden Ogan song and that's Gunman. It looks like I'm little boring and that's why I have to add at least this one. This was a good song.
