In this video myself, my brother and my father along with my dog Wendell all head out for a ATV Camping trip. We ride some beautiful trails, some crazy trails, see a beautiful waterfall and camp at possibly the coolest place along the coast of New Brunswick, Canada.
Goose Creek was a logging settlement back in the 1800's and not much remains now except for the big boiler from the saw mill, ruins of a dock and board walk along with some odd's and ends from a time long past.

Man, I have to get up to New Brunswick sometime to explore some trails. I grew up there, but I didn't ride ATV's back then, so I haven't been on the trail systems there. Adair's looks like a great spot to start. You guys have great camping gear! Give Wendell a pat on the head for me.

hahahaha yeah I left that little blooper in LOL it can be a pain in the ass at times, I was thinking a rifle holster that goes on the front rack might be an option for holding the camera, do you use anything? Cheers man !

I’m on an ATV riding weekend with my 12 yr old son on the North Shore of Minnesota. We don’t have a ton in common but this is something we can do together. Picked him up his own quad. Been a great time. I’m not sure he really understands how much I’ve enjoyed spending this time with him.

Hey Adam ! yeah man that was still one of my favourite trips, she had so much fun ! and you are probably right, he may not realize how much you enjoy it but he will know when he gets older.... as I get older and I see my own father get older it really makes me think about how much him and my mother did for me, and I almost feel guilty for not appreciating it before...

Awesome video buddy. Super cool to have your dad and brother come along for the trip. Your dad even threw in a few jokes haha. I love some mussels and the way you guys made them sounds awesome! I even add pepper flakes to crab when I make a boil. I love your part of the world. One thing I wish we had in New Mexico is more access to rivers etc. but that is the high desert for you. But on the flip side we have millions of acres open for public use so I can’t complain to much when it comes to outdoor activities. Take care man and enjoy life/family.

Great video as always. One of my favorites I think. Watched it on my 60" tv and the quality was awesome. The recent rain storms we`ve had here in the Maritimes sure have created some sketchy spots on the trails. Good thing you had company on this trip or you may not have made it with all the damage.

So happy you got to enjoy time with your dad and brother on this trip! I bet the steak was so tender because of the marinade it was in? Looked like it was cooked perfectly, too, with a little pink inside and seared on the outside. Nice saving some to make steak hash potatoes in the morning. Hey man ! thanks so much ! Ohhh man thats steak was delicious ! It was a very mild marinade too, concentrated Beef broth, ground garlic, soya sauce. Plus I talt/pepper the steak very well before.

Ya i still think the atv is best to get around not that sxs once and a while would my interest when its pouring rain lol
hey man ! YEs Costco has those steaks on as a Rib Roast or something, and they cost between $35-50cad and they are the best deal around on steak, super tender and way too big for just one person. Yeah I'm with ya, the ATV is just easier for everything the only spot it lacks is in storage and the SXS is way better for riding with a friend. Everything else is up for debate, some day the SXS is more comfortable but when I was in different SXS I thought it was different... bumps/puddles you can avoid on a ATV you cant with a SXS..... and naturally a longer + wider wheel base will be a smoother ride...
@@MaritimerIm going to grab a couple of them steak/rib roasts !!!!!!!!! ya your right on the storage part for sure on the atv's over the sxs , these sxs are getting bigger and heavier and find my biggest complaint with them is the trail damage they just rip everything up , i do keep my eyes open for a deal on a used one for me its probably a lot cheaper and handier to grab a GM Tracker or similar over a sxs

I just put the front box for yamaha grizzly on the other day. Getting ready to install a rotopax tank to this box. We're preparing our bikes for Utah trails around Moab later this year. Hey ! thank you ! I dono when, the price of them turns me off to be honest..... they are all so over priced, in my mind they shouldn't be over $25k, they just arent worth it....
I mean I paid like $35k for my truck and it had heat/AC, cruise control, bluetooth..... a SXS is 35k and comes with NONE of that haha not to mention you cant drive them on the road lol

Great video, beautiful spot, I loved the old photo of the former saw mill and infrastructure, nature has taken it back almost completely erasing the evidence of human activity.

I had a polaris ranger for five years. It was nice but can’t get into the best spots with a side by side. So I went back to a quad. Much easier to haul and store for me.

Such a cool video! I watched it while on the spin bike at the gym. I’ve been backpacking twice, once was 7 days in the woods. This seems a lot different but cool in its own way! You’ve definitely gotta know how to manage engines and vehicles for this eh? I like the idea that you can bring extra gear and don’t need to worry as much about total weight. Like you brought a whole wine bottle and packs of beer lol. Trucking firewood with you. Very cool! I do carnivore so I’d want to just bring a huge cooler full of meat, don’t know how long that stuff can stay cold though. Maybe with dry ice a few days? Not sure.
Hey ! thanks so much ! yeah having a way of conveyance really helps when bringing extra gear, but the ATV can't take as much as a SXS can, it was nice to have two of them to bring a big cooler and stuff. Yeah if You have a good cooler im sure it would keep ice for a few days, I'd lo e to try that carnivore diet but I also like veggies/fruit and stuff haha
I like to freeze big blocks of ice in Tupperware containers they seem to last longer. Also look up Salt water ice, I think that actually takes longer to melt... but once you melt it you cant drink it is all..

Another awesome trip. Making wonderful memories with your Dad and Brother. My father worked at the sawmill in Goose Creek ,late 40's or early 50's. It was a bit rough getting down there and back out but glad you guys did it safely. The grub looked awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Hey man ! thank you so much ! What? so goose creek was still in operation that late into the 1900's? or like he used to cut trees in that area but the saw mill was gone by then? I'd love to know more history, I tried to find some stuff online with little success.

Yes there was a sawmill there that my father worked in. I don't know if it would be the original mill that was there, i wouldn't think it would be. But i was going through some of my parents stuff and found a letter he had mailed to my mother, i think he only worked one winter down there,the letter was post marked Goose Creek,NB. That would of been more than 70 years ago. Also i heard years ago about a small plane crashed at Goose Creek and the wreckage was not retrieved, Could be true but positive. Have a great Thanksgiving. Hey man ! I LOVE the Heat Demon heated grips. When I bought this bike it came with heated grips and I told them I'd rather pay for heat demon than get the cheaper ones with the machine. they are worth every penny if you ride in the winter Or if it gets colder in the Spring and Fall in your neck of the woods. I do have a video installing them on my channel if you are interested. Cheers !

@Maritimer we had a good group of players. I wasn't a great player, but I surrounded myself with good players. Shawn was a good player. We always had a blast after games socializing in the locker room. Like you, I enjoy having a few beers. I enjoy your videos and the drone shots. My wife and I are going to check out some of those trails on Sussex one day. I also enjoy watching your cook ups and beer brands! Anyway, I like your channel, my wife watches it with me.
