I was broke down in the field without my manual and your small blurb on the slip clutch dimensions saved me. Had it adjusted in 20 mins and was back to baling. Just thought I’d let you know how much that 60 seconds of time on that (with dimensions) helped me! Thanks, man.
Thanks for your good tips; i have similar problems on my 567. (my netwrap likes to wrap itself around the top roller; so once or twice a year i am up and down my old wooden ladder on either side carefully cutting off the netwrap)
Great video subscribed. I just bought that same baler put new bearings belts and rebuilt the pickup it didn't have to have all of it but I wanted to know where I was since I plan on using it for some custome work.
that chain lube sounds pretty sweet. i put a new pto shaft on the vermeer the other day holy cow talk about spendy! the last one i put on the deere was an aftermarket and it seems to be holding up as well as the original. i couldn't find an aftermarket for the vermeer though. and yes the deere square teeth break like crazy. i don't ever remember putting that many round teeth in the 530.
Not sure if I can get them for the vermeer balers or not. I got one for my Vermeer Bale processor last winter, just the half shaft with the CV on it. And it's been holding up good so far. I think that end alone ran me about $500. If you ever need one again, let me know I can do some checking on what I can get through A&I
Were the mud flap things in the front of the baler in the way for you? What’s the advantage of having them on? Just so it doesn’t throw rocks at the back window?
I have a John Deere 567 and I cannot get it to roll a tight Roll. The Rolls that I have rolled look like giant Marshmallows. Would you have any suggestions?
@@OldGlory1776 After tearing everything apart, we have decided that it is the Tension Cylinders. Looking at rebuilding them in the spring or just buying new ones.

This was such an awesome video. I learned a lot, thanks so much.
Good video. Also a good idea to replace your belt pins every three thousand bales. They break and it’s a bitch to get em out. 26000 bales on my 567

I put clean used oil in an oil can and squirt it on the chains.. I have lots of it on hand and it seems to stick on fairly well.

What is your tension gauge showing? Do you have it cranked up?
