Saab didn't go out of business, GM put them out of business. GM bought Saab in early 2000s. As a matter of fact GM owns a bunch of euro brands. True Saabs were 9-5s and 9-3 still under GMs ownership. Saab built rocket ships factory power for that time and handling was perfected. Trailblazer was tweeked by Saab they stuffed a LS2 into a 9-7x aero and further developed suspension for better handling. 6.0 5.3 and I6 is what powered 9-7x. Saab built some rock solid cars. Sucks that GM killed them off in 2012. We didn't get the Saab 9-5 combi here.
