Thanks for the shoutout! Glad the nodes are useful for you. The new map looks great!

You're very welcome and thank you :)
Your toolkit really made it easier for me to get started with Geometry Nodes!

Quality > sticking to a fixed release date for sure.

I love the idea of a vertical map. And how cute is Flip Dude - I love him!
I definitely prefer quality over meeting a certain release date.

Almost 1k subs! Niceee. Also I agree that quality is way more important.

Love the design, I haven't played with geometry nodes in blender but they look pretty powerful. When you bring a geometry-node-built object from blender into unity, is it all one big mesh?

      Thank you very much! :)
Since a Geometry Node operation is basically a modifier, the output of the modifier is one object. If you don't handle this manually, it will also be imported as one object into Unity. Now using the debris parts as an example, I could apply the Geometry Node modifier, go into Edit Mode, select all the faces and then press P (Separate) -> By Loose Parts and have a separate object for each individual debris part. I don't know if you could solve this directly via Geometry Nodes, since the workflow is actually non-destructive.
Big fan of your devlogs and your game by the way! :)

    The tower looks amazing.
maybe you could add a dragon at the top of the tower. The dragon should be a boss. You will run from it and dodge the attacks. the only way you could defeat the dragon is by escaping the tower

How do you work with the collision objects in Unity? Do you use the mesh modells from blender directly as a collider or do you create a simplified mesh model? Towere looks cool so far! I would say quality over rushing a release date!

Hey, thanks a lot! For complex shapes that you can walk on or are inevitably going to collide with, I use mesh colliders. When possible I use the convex option to simplify the colliders. For simple objects and collision detection I use plain box colliders in most cases to optimize performance.

@2:50 there is a "hidden" key. What's up with that?

Well spotted! Without giving too much away: The keys will be secret collectibles :) More about this in one of the upcoming devlogs

    What's the music you're using?

I use different services for the music. I have a paid subscription at Stockmusic.net, but sometimes I use other royalty free music providers.
