    Fellow BN125 owner here. Bike always needs a clean :P
    When it comes to the "clicking", if it is what I think it is, mine has had it since day one. Bought it brand new with 400m on the odometer and from the moment I can remember, the sound has always been there. The mechanic at the dealership has assured me that it's how this particular engine sounds and that it's not a defect.
    On the power con, well, it *is* a 125cc bike. It's not really a con I feel. You know what you're getting when you buy it. Granted, moving onto a bigger anything makes the previous anything feel lacking.
    Space-wise, I've gotten a mount for a rear box (tail bag?) that bolts into where the passenger handlebars are so there is room for customization if you want to add storage space. And yes, the mount/rack thing does have passenger handlebars as it replaces them.
    Granted, I've had it for a little less than 1500km but I'm really satisfied with it. Price was great too, given that same style bikes from the Big 4 go for a minimum of 4k here (Grom included)
    Have fun with it and ride safe! Hugs from Greece!

    having had mine for more than one year now, puting 8600 kms one the road with it and i have to agree to all de pros. but on the oder hand, i can only identify with the power and space. the false neutral can happen with every bike. you have what you paid for, thats what i say when my brakes fail me. the fauty indicators never actualy happened, so im happy with them. with that i`m not tryng say anything about yours, just giving my one year review. big hugh from portugal!

    Overall a great bike for a 125cc, plus the price is very good too, cant ask for more fro a small engine, but its a blast to ride

    Just bought this exact bike from Moonrakers (I'm also in Norwich). It's a lot of fun. I'm using it until my CBT expires then doing another one and then going on to do the DAS as i'll be 24 at that point. Anyway ride safe man and maybe see you around norwich!

      Yoo hey that's awesome! I happened to have bought it from Moonrakers also haha, and I'm sure you will! Im usually just riding around the city with no direction so if you see me, don't hesitate to follow 😂 finding other riders to ride with has been difficult 😨

    Lack of power when riding a 125 isn’t a con, it’s standard. And to compare it to a 650 is just stupid really mate.

      Compared to other 125s it lacks power and you can really notice it when riding with other 125s that have the full 15hp. But comparing it to a 650 is a big jump so u are right on that point

    About indicators, if you washed it befor that ride or it was in the rain, there can get water inside and it starts behaving erratic. I had TRK251 for a year and something over 2000km.

  • @skay3264
    @skay3264 Рік тому +3

    About the shifter, with my bike TRK251, it was some sticking, it wouldn't go to 2nd, so I put in in 1st and then go up-up and it works. It disappeared after few months. But I was very gentle so it smoothed itself right.

    Have you readjusted the valves for the ticking sound? Not suggesting that's the problem but with my 125 I had to readjust the valves every 6/7k miles, it's simple to learn and do, especially on a 125. It's worth having a look

    Having had mine for 5 months and done 4500 miles on it I can agree with what you are saying for the pros and cons for lack of space I have a tail bag which helps and it interesting about the issue that you have they are similar to mine indicator button gets really stiff sometimes other times I flick it and wont come on and the same issue with it slipping into neutral when in second gear and you have to give it the beans to get it going sometimes but overall for the price from new its a good all round bike.

    Mine was stolen last week... shame, in the two months I had her- she was the best damn bike ide tried. That turning was so dreamy! Did find the acceleration was a bit meh but not bad enough to really complain 😅

      😢 Awh no! I'm really sorry to hear that! I hope progress is being made into finding her! And straight up, the turning feels like I'm on a bicycle, so smooth!
      And I appreciate the kind words :) everytime I get up to ride I do keep looking at the gopro to go out some more, and I just may! But considering the weather is getting kind of crazy I'm not sure! But I'll definitely give it a go again. I mean why not right 😉

    This is the exact same issues i have with my 125cc leonchino apart from the indicators the main beam switch wont work correctly but passing switch is fine, finding gears is another some times 2 into neutral is a thing still even after 3850mi will be upgrading to a triumph R 765 was considering a trident 660cc,

    Ticking sound could be silly euro5 emissions thingy box that blows air into the exhaust. Cant think what its called. It has a reed in it which could be noisy.😎👍

  • @clarkie005
    @clarkie005 Рік тому +1

    Christ. That false neutral sounds scary. If it happened at 5th did you have to start back in gear again at 1st or 2nd? If thats the case then engine breaking effect would horrendous

    • @fredyoyo6764
      @fredyoyo6764  Рік тому

      When it happens (Which is not often at all, hasn't happened for quite a while now) I usually fix it just as quick as it happens, I just hold in the clutch, then go all the way back to where I was. It sounds more intense than it was but nonetheless it was really sketchy when it did happen

    it only gets to 90km/h with a 100kg rider if wind blows even slower, the dashboard speedo is a reference at best as it shows 112km/h but gps speed is 91-92km/h ... check engine light comes on when you ride it full throttle , overall quality is pretty trash, sounds decent for a 125 and has a pretty good fuel consumption with an decent tank size 13.5L and its cheap? but you get what you pay for, seat is trash too. rode it for like 200km as new and returned it as its a glorified scooter with a manual gearbox. Either go for A2 or buy something with actually 15hp as it goes 110-115km/h which makes it more suitable than city.
    other notable issues:
    On a steeper uphill second gear bangs on rev limiter but third has too low RPM for its inexistent torque which makes this bike an nightmare to go uphill
    overall i would not recommend this nugget, better get a Zontes 125 or a FB Mondial piega 125 which are only 200-300 euros more expensive than this.

    Ridiculous "con" not as powerful or fast as a 650...honestly? Otherwise its an average Chinese bike with lowish powet and dodgy electrics. But value OK and you get what you pay for.. why would you skid in a false neutral? Maybe because you drag the clutch while accelerating quickly?
