Great tip. As a bank angler, I tend to only think about ways to add casting distance, but in reality, concentrating on a more stealthy approach with these methods will likely get me more hookups. Thanks, and tight lines!
Thanks again for reminding us to “match the hatch”. I just did that today with a bladed jig and caught a 3.35 lb bass in the shallows while wading. I was using a white one with no results. Then I looked at the baitfish. They were greenish. So I switched to a green pumpkin skirt and got hammered. The fish choked it!
Even if we already use these techniques, it is great to remind us that pros like you John, apply them EVERY cast!. I tend to get in a hurry and often DON'T apply them every cast. I'm sure it means fewer fish in the livewell at the end of the day. Great video, thanks for your time!
I prefer a 5’6” hank Parker pistol grip rod roll casting that ol spinnerbait 😂. Seriously, do you prefer a shorter rod tight in cover or roll casting?? I kinda do.

Good advice. Thanks John.
By using your thumb to slow down the spool the lure will enter the water smoother than stopping instantly by pressing button

How about a Crews Walker with the same tungsten infused weight transfer ball like in the MD.
You doing a good job there
Using a 110 or 130 WP will make a loud splash and spook a fish.
