Anyone who believes eating vegan is actually healthier than eating animal based is just completely lying to themselves.

    • @assass7012
      @assass7012 8 днів тому

      @SammyBoe they're also killing tons more animals being vegan. Pesticides and traps used for killing rodents, moles, voles, birds, etc are necessary in making your almond milk soy mocha latte, Karen. When I eat a steak, that's just one cow killed, and I can survive for months using every piece of her body. With a vegan diet, you kill like 20 animals for every piece of tofu.

    • @asantesamuel13
      @asantesamuel13 9 місяців тому +3

      Fresh meat contains carbs, so hunter gatherers didn't eat just protein and fat. There's glucose in the blood of these animals and when you eat it fresh, you get a healthy dose of carbs. They also would eat honey when they could find it and fruit when in-season. Being keto for long periods of time can lead to problems with your liver or thyroid and create an imbalance with your hormonal state since carbs are a signal of abundance to the body, such as when you stumble on honey or a fruit tree in the wild.

      Can you explain the claim that white rice is better than fruit?

    • @drygordspellweaver8761
      @drygordspellweaver8761 9 місяців тому +4

      @@garouthetiktokinfluencerhu9731 yeah sure. It's one of the least harmful grains, no anti nutrients. It's a complex carbohydrate that breaks down entirely into glucose. Fruit and honey on the other hand are mostly fructose.
      Studies have shown fructose to impair the mitocondria and their ability to generate energy from fats and sugars. The metabolic pathway of fructose is identical to alcohol- it can ONLY be metabolized by the liver. It's treated as a poison and ultimately is stored as fat. Whereas every cell in the body can assimilate glucose directly into the mitochondria where it's used for energy.
      So not only is fructose unable to be utilized by the cells, but it actually impairs the mitochondria's ability to synthesize glucose and fats as energy. A vicious spiral leading to lower energy levels.

    • @garouthetiktokinfluencerhu9731
      @garouthetiktokinfluencerhu9731 9 місяців тому +3

      @@drygordspellweaver8761 ok.
      Those are arguments based on studies. The same arguments can be used against rice.
      It’s still a grain. Rice (brown or white) has more defense chemicals in it than fruit and contains less bioavailable micronutrients. That’s also a truth. I’m not saying rice is bad, I eat fruit and some rice here and there.
      Your opinion is just that, opinion. You may have found what works best for you, and if so great. Other people, namely those with a metabolic condition, would do well avoiding rice.
      Carnivores, vegans, and even people such as yourself speak in truths. Paul’s gone full carnivore in the past and he’s responded better with incorporating fruit back into his diet. There have been other people who’ve done the same thing, feeling better after adding fruit back into their diet, myself included.
