Dimitri Bashkirov her teacher Anastasia Virsaladze teach saying to Bashkirov the most important lesson is the love of beautiful colorful piano sound! This was already in 1930s! Really Shocking! Todays players are cool dry colorless piano sound players like Kissin Zimerman Pletnev Hamelin and latest hype student Yunchan Lim! I prefer beautiful colorful piano sound players like Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Artur Rubinstein Vladimir Ashkenazy Grigory Sokolov!
Wow, Adgo I respect you, I'm surprised to share a lot of high quality musical milestone treasures in a week. The greatest performers, the greatest works, rare archives, which.Without Adgo it would not be in the public domain. Yours sincerely, the kitschy test splashing commentator: Dàvid Rotter
Maybe she is playing loudly to be heard in a large hall but this performance does not work for me. I've heard great playing in other recordings and there is definitely nothing wrong technically. However I find this interpretation too Russian and not in the spirit of Chopin. N B. I don't care much for Rachmaninoff playing Chopin. It's about the Russian school and not this pianist
Beethoven wanted louder instruments piano fortes!! Beethoven's had small concert halls! You must play louder in the big concert halls 1500-1800 listeners! More louder than Virsaladze=Mikhail Pletnev(Prokofiev piano concerto no 1 by Pletnev!) The Second Loudest was Lazar Berman! The 3rd Loudest was Erwin Nyiregyhazi! De Lisboa, Maria do Carmo Vieira

THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING ❤
Thanks Tony
Nice touch and voicing.....🙂
This is stunning @ADGO!
What a technique... Sad the coughing crew was outside this day...
Whyyyyy does always ppl cough so loud at concerts
impressive playing, mediocre mic placement
In 1994 people knew nothing about mic placement. :)
does anyone know what the name of the concert hall is?
I think it's the Moscow Hall
Moscow Conservatory Great Hall, I think.

What heavy undifferentiated Chopin here Chopinski...

I think the microphone setup in the room is the cause of the high volume and this is also noticeable from the loud ambient noise (unfortunately).
