I have a question: if my diy body cream oxides or has discoloration over time because of fragrance oils, should I add mica powder that matches the discoloration or would using color theory work by choosing the opposite color of the discoloration to cancel it out?

thanks so much! i’m glad you enjoy my videos. as long as the preservative you use can withstand heat to 100 degrees celcius and its water soluble, then that’s fine, but this is the only one i know of.

Because it takes quite a while for it to solidify wouldn't the mixture cool down enough to incorporate ingredients that are heat sensitive? I'm just wondering 😊
maybe if you time it right. i realized after making these that we should put most of the actives in there storage serum rather than the patches themselves
@TaraLeee I was thinking that myself but have no experience in formulating but that would make sense since it's the serum that really has the skin benefits rather than the patch itself, would love to see you explore this more 😊
