Got to be one of the best sounding C8 corvette exhausts I've heard. I like how tamed it is just driving normal and how loud it gets when you get on it. Just how a nice exhaust is supposed to be!
Thank you for the video. I think it sounds great and good sound clips too. I have the 2M Fab. sport cats and a titanium cat back and it sounds legit and very loud where I have to have my garage door shut to start the car in the early am, but that's a rare occasion. Now thinking of the 2M Fab. headers, so your video is helping me make that decision. My current set up not only sounds 200% better, but feels 200% better too. I only want to drive in manual mode to hear all of the up and down shifts.
its a very light chop, simply because of the scavenging headers. It's probably harder to hear through the mic although it def doesnt have the distinct chop of a high duration Camshaft.
Definitely one of the best setups, would you recommend this for loudest/most exotic over kooks headers and other setups? Also would it be even louder than this if it was full catless?
Loud and exotic are too different sounds in my opinion. Loud is, well just loud. These sound like muscle cars if you make them too loud. Without cats it would be very loud. With high flow cats it still has a little higher pitch in the rev range and sounds more exotic and less like a Camaro or challenger in my opinion.
Sounds so good! I would love to have this but cruising on the highway would probably get a little annoying. It would be sweet to be able to have it this load most time but on the highway go quite. Good work man!!
Have you had any problems at this point? No tune needed for the car to drive smoothly & to avoid check engine light? Thinking about getting this setup. Also beautiful vette!
hey man! my c8 has the same setup basically. but ive been debating if i should get the 2m exhaust. it just feels bad cuz i spent 1.6k on the NPP exhaust with black tips from factory and i do enjoy driving quietly sometimes. do you think the 2m fab exhaust is THAT much louder than the NPP and a different tone? hows the "quiet" mode vs NPP.

I looked at the photos of their system, but it doesn't look like there are valves. Their prices blow everyone else out of the water. Did you install the headers, cats and exhaust yourself? If so how hard was that? Any heat issues with the exhaust system? I saw the plug wire recommendation, other than that any issues? Are you affiliated with 2M Fab? The cold start scares me a bit as I live in a condo and not sure my neighbors are going to be thrilled with that...oh well. Maybe I can stick some pool noodles in the end to muffle it during cold start. Thanks Scott
Hey Scott! I’m not affiliated with 2M fabrication at all however the price made me a customer. I did install them myself, and I plan to remove and reinstall everything in an upcoming video for everyone, I wouldn’t say it was difficulty but I’m a seasoned mechanic. I would recommend just the catback version of you are concerned about your neighbors, it still sounds great with that setup!
Is there a way to either do the cats or the headers individually to keep the valves. My last car was straightpiped so I need valves for this setup but still want to make it as loud as possible in track mode if that makes sense. Sounds amazing!
Sounds great. I have a C8 2023 HTC with performance exhaust. Yesterday finished installing a 2M Fabrication Touring Catback exhaust and sports headers. Install went great. No CELS. And it is insanely loud. The workmanship is very impressive. In this video you showed switching from tour to track. Mine no longer changes exhaust modes. It’s full out loud. The only exhaust option I saw in 2M was the Catback touring system. Is there a modification I can get to make it valved like the OEM performance exhaust? Is that something they custom build?
So I don’t have any actuators installed but there’s a noticeable difference in exhaust volume inside the car in different modes. Mines a 2023 if that matters

The front hangers are no longer used, only the rear two. This is common on a lot of the aftermarket exhausts for the c8. I don’t have any photos of this setup from underneath but it seems nice and secure with the two hangers.

Okay, I ordered it I already have the cats which I love I just needed a little bit more. Hopefully, this is the solution I am looking for. You have been a great help. Oh I forgot to ask are concerned about the headers do you know if it will void the warranty?
I mean, GM would have to prove an issue was caused by any part you change. It turns into a huge legal battle. Most people just swap back on their stock parts if anything goes south.

do I need to order c8 replacement gaskets from 2m if I already ordered some from the Amazon? I’m doing cats and headers and also does the package come with mini cats?
You will have to check the description on their website but I would run the Amazon gaskets I linked in the video description as the ones 2M sells are not great.
Probably, but the dealer would have to prove these broke your vehicle which probably won’t happen. Install at your own risk or stick with the catback setup only.

No, the c8 comes with dual wide band o2 sensors from the factory and the ecu makes corrections if needed. The headers could benefit even more from a tune but it is not a requirement.
I wish they would have put a flat plane crank in the C8. The exotic sound of a flat plane crank would match the mid engine look better. Also wish they would have put a 10 speed in it instead of the 8 speed.
How is this system able to work with the different modes? Track mode touring mode? I thought with this system you can't use the factory valve system that alters the sound? Sorry i am a newbie. I got just the 2M exhaust, sounds amazing, and it was only $1200, BUT the guy who runs and owns 2M has a horrible attitude, terrible customer service as well. But the product is good.
That flat plane crank is a work of art. I’m on the waiting list for one, but I’m concerned about the long term reliability and the engine issues that have recently surfaced.
MAAAAAAN I LOVE the sound of this Car with the 2M Fabrication setup BUT when I see the Google Reviews on 2M Fabrication to say I am a bit nervous is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Reading there FAQ just solidifies my gut feel for how things are going to go If I do business with them.Sounds like Chinese Crap to me based on the look, quality and delivery times out over 2-4 months. BUT I love that sound! Anyone here know of a similar and yes MORE EXPENSE PRODUCT to rival this one???
They make everything in house here in the USA…. Their FAQ page was hysterical to me but it might be much for some people. It’s a cheap, but it’s quality exhaust without the crazy markup everyone else carries. They also don’t sell to distributors and sell directly to customers which typically saves the consumer 30-40%. About the wait…. I believe they make the C8 stuff pretty quick. I ordered and had all my parts within 2 weeks so that might be a general statement for some of their less popular products. As for similar but more expensive, I’d go with corsa. I can’t speak for the quality, but they do sound similar, potentially slightly quieter. Hopefully this helps!
Their headers come with some sort of coating on them. It’s not the best, it sorta takes a little bit to bake when you drive the first couple of times. I know they offer the cat blankets but I don’t think they sell headers blankets. You could try the other ones you mentioned.
I mean, the video clearly shows that you can drive it around quietly and loudly when you want to. Unless you are driving around WOT in track mode all the time, it’s a great sounding setup. This is by far not the loudest setup for the C8, but is generally in the 75% as far as sound goes.
@@GhostSpeedShop I’m trying to get after market cat back for mine but every video I watch just shows loud af setups and have titles like “ loudest c8 ever “ or something like that 😂 , I just want something a little louder than stock but not deafening ! Any recommendations??

How is this system able to work with the different modes? Track mode touring mode? I thought with this system you can't use the factory valve system that alters the sound? Sorry i am a newbie. Just got the c8 a few days ago. The afm npp simulators says it just prevents check engine light. Thanks in advance.
There are still engine controls associated with the modes, so cam profile based on advance and retard on the cam affects sound and aggressiveness.
@@GhostSpeedShop Sweet good to know. Thanks for the reply. Any CEL after adding the spacers? Anything you would do different if you did it again?
What did this setup run you price wise?
2200ish.
@@GhostSpeedShop for all of this? 2M fabrication catback exhaust, 2M fabrication headers and 2M fabrication high flow 200 cell cats with 02 sensor spacers and Catalytic converter blankets? that has to be over $10K???
Nope, their prices are cheap because they sell direct to their customers. They’re all made here in the US too.
🔥 🔥👍🏾👍🏾
Did the upgrade void any drive train warranty?
Probably not if you took it to court, but I’m sure a dealer would claim it does.
love the sund
Did this void your warranty?
The manufacturer would have to prove that this caused an issue. I doubt it would hold up in court but typically exhaust do not void your warranty.
You have links to the header and setup? What’s was the cost?
Sounds amazing
Definitely wayyyyyy too much for the neighbors to hear on a daily basis for keeping peace sake
Even the stock cold start is kinda harsh for the neighbors.
Sounds like my corvette c8
How much did this cost roughly?
I’m not sure what 2M fabrications current pricing is but all of the parts I purchased should be available to price on their website.
I got just the 2M exhaust, sounds amazing, and it was only $1200, BUT the guy who runs and owns 2M has a horrible attitude, terrible customer service as well. But the product is good.
Dang, that’s unfortunate. I’ve heard they are to the point and some people don’t get along with sarcasm well.
Hey man is this exhaust stock? Great video!
No
Can you please comment the links to all the exhaust components on this build?
Read the description and search for them based on the info provided. This is not a sponsored video, therefore I will not be linking the products.
Hope Gavin Newsome’s neighbor has one of these
You know what, me too. I hope he has to hear it start everyday.
It sounds like a Dodge Challenger. Sounds really cool but I prefer my Z06 which sounds like a F1 Indy car.
@@GhostSpeedShop Thanks, very helpful...Did the exhaust throw and error s or codes once it was installed?
@@GhostSpeedShop Also, does 2M make a blanket for their headers or would a FabSpeed header cover work possibly?
None of you get the modules they offer.
Their headers come with some sort of coating on them. It’s not the best, it sorta takes a little bit to bake when you drive the first couple of times. I know they offer the cat blankets but I don’t think they sell headers blankets. You could try the other ones you mentioned.

RIP headphone users!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I almost put it in the title but thought it was baity
Just loud . Looks slower than stock
I mean it’s not… and 2M posts their Dyno results. Thanks for your baseless comment though.
Do people not understand that there is such thing as too loud ??!! Making it louder and louder isn’t always better , it sounds a little gravely to me
I mean, the video clearly shows that you can drive it around quietly and loudly when you want to.
Do the 2M fabrication catback only or the bola catback. Both great. As soon as you do cats, that’s when it gets loud.
@@GhostSpeedShop ok thanks
what are those gold things in the engine bay? Where did you get that from?
Google DEI wrap
Cams or cam brah? 😐
Aye good point, the lt2 only has one. I’ve always just referred to them plural.
@@GhostSpeedShop 🤔
Sounds like the annoying kids car down the street. Just loud to attract attention. Doesn't sound elegant and gurgled but just loud. To each his own but to me a Vette should sound like a Vette and not like all the other cars with these noise-makers bolted on. Please enjoy it though :)
It gurgles a lot, perhaps the camera just doesn’t do it justice.
The cold start on a regular c8 is loud dude. This doesn't sound nearly as knarly as some cammed out C6s or C7s on the road.
any issues with engine light?
Nope! Get the afm delete modules and o2 sensor spacers
@@GhostSpeedShop Oh that is new to me...thanks. I went to 2M website. What your talking about is "C8 AFM And NPP Simulators" Since I have a Performance exhaust, I need to it say to trick the CEL.
