in the case of crazy pants, the first thing you're going to want to do is to set up something with the government to make sure that she can't come anywhere near you. if she does and tries to pull the I can't think for myself line then you actually report her as being incapable of taking care of herself and that she's a danger to herself and others and then they will lock her up in a totally different kind of prison
For the last story, NTA. The wife apparently didn’t tell the husband that she told her friends he was paying. Should’ve had it so everyone pays for themselves.

Same scummy tactic we've seen more than a few times on AITJ; family look out for each other, good times and bad. So all those passengers before you were all exactly on max weight too? Probably more than a few that were under by more than that. Story 6 - wife, maybe but friends? No, not unless it's been previously agreed. And your parents and friends can suck a fat one too. Sounds like OP is well-off and/or they expect them to splash the cash whenever it suits them.

There are state laws that force companies to give employees breaks and lunch breaks. If I were the person above I would report this company's practices.
First Story: I mean, the girl called OP the C-word and the B-word. While she didn't touch the barricade in any way, she still insulted someone unprovoked, and not completely innocent here.
with the Crazy pants story if she did the Amnesia act multiple times I would use it against her and get her sent to an old folks home claiming she is starting to forget how to take care of herself. It's only the right thing to do after all.... Yes this would be said with a cruel grin knowing full well that it can count as Malicious complience disguised as 'doing the right thing'. Saves me the hassle of having to deal with her and if she is let out and returns and tries to pull it again I will use the fact she was released from an old folks home claiming she doesn't have Amnesia to the police so they know she is faking it or they will send her back.
as soon as they tried sending him home he should have said no i'm calling department of labor and reporting this illegal action and will be seeing you in court
Let's assume that the second story is in the US. You can not under any circumstances deny a worker a break or lunch. That is illegal. Every worker in America is entitled to, by law, a 15 minute break and a 30 minute lunch. No exceptions. The department of labor and industries would LOVE to hear about this. Also, you can't really fire someone for what the OP did since the merchandise was paid for. Assuming that any of this is in America.
IN story 5 (again) I don't agree with how you said it, in case you didn't know, Ryanair staff are given bonuses for catching anyone who has luggage which even just barely exceeds the maximum weight.
in story 3: if that entitled neighbor was taken mail without permission, she should've gotten a felony charge for tempering with mail that doesn't even have her name on them.
Story 4- Definitely not the jerk. They mistreated you your entire life, they made your 16th birthday all about your OLDER sister, you had milestones taken away and they didn't even bother helping you with college. They forced you to grow up too soon while spoiling their oldest daughter. Now look at her, she's mooching off her parents and trying to become famous on TikTok just for more attention. She's probably wasting a lot of money in order to get views on TikTok. Let that entire family suffer the way you did. They never wanted you? So let them be parents to 1 child like they always did when you were still living there.
with those brats being that spoiled, it's only a matter of time until they end up in jail, and the pepper spray that got on their skin, that's only a taste of when they're gonna face from the cops, if they don't stop with their entitlement that is.
Last Story - I would have told her that "It's not that I Can't pay it, it's that I Won't pay it." She promised her friends that I would pay the bill? Absolutely not. And I'd take it a step further (probably a little too far) and tell her there's no way that I'm going to pay a $700 bill that includes your friends unless I am going to be getting laid by every one of your friends tonight. You do Not promise Your friends that someone else is going to pay the bill for them. Especially without even asking that person.
Story 4: Even if your parents were saints, no one is 'obligated' to help out your sister. I get why you don't want to help, especially considering they never paid any attention to you until they found out they can leech off you. Story 5: I actually disagree here with the narrator. This particular woman was clearly just a jerk, but under normal circumstances I'd side with her. If she lets luggage that's technically too heavy into the plane and a superior finds out, she's the one who loses her job. Honestly, this is on the passenger for not making sure her luggage was beneath the limit. Though I must say this OP had a clever and rather funny solution. Story 6: The man should not have to pay just because of his gender, that's blatantly sexist. If the wife had any brains at all she would have discussed the bill before the dinner. But I agree with the comments, she's most likely a gold digger.
Story 2: I look at stories like these from European countries and am so baffled at how somebody can be so horrible and entitled to even think about trespassing into somebody’s private home. But then I remember I live in America and it’s not really a question of European people being entitled. This is weird to me because of the fact that if that lady did that in my country, she would very likely get shot and killed.😂
Your country is full of entitled crazies and they even infiltrated your political parties. I said it before and I'll say it again: Welcome to Wackyland Population: 332 million nuts and an indicted orange squirrel _It can happen here_
Honestly in that last story the husband needs to look into getting an annulment or divorce that kind of behavior is disgusting and you should also cut off the family I told him that he's being a jerk and should have just paid. I don't care who you are never deal with that kind of stuff and take it lying.
Last one... No, absolutely not the jerk. A man is responsible for paying for himself, his wife and his kids. Not every single person the wife knows. That's an expense you talk about altogether beforehand. Hope it's not a sign that she's only with him for his money. If so, hope he sees how it really is and gets out asap.
Question, why do you pronounce mum differently then you do with mom when they're the same thing just with different spelling? Sorry if this seems rude im just genuinely curious as to why
Story 1: If these were kids under 8-9 years old, i would say the OP was definitely a jerk here, but since they were teens, possibly close to 20, then the OP is definitely not a jerk. Those 3 were total punks and knew exactly what they were doing. Using pepper spray can be seen and excessive by some, but it was warranted here. Good old fashioned case of mess around and find out... and they certainly found out. Story 2: Okay, if the OP is able to, they should 100% sue for wrongful dismissal. The OP didn't steal anything. They had the receipt, and even provided it too. Are the bosses really going to get that worked up for someone opening a beverage early, and then immediately paying for it? If that was all provable by the cameras that they OP did pay for it, then i think the OP has a clear winnable case for wrongful dismissal here. Story 3: Who does "crazy pants" think she is, an HOA president or something? What a psycho. If that snag was spreading rumours like that about my ill mother, or any family member, i would sue her for slander and harassment... and maybe make sure she's missing a few teeth. If i were the OP, i would've gone to the post office and telling the people that under zero circumstances could they allow this neighbour to accept mail or packages a lot sooner then they did. Now she breaks and enters and tries to pull the "im old and confused" card on the OP's grandpa? That's a total crock and i can't believe the cops bought that. Honestly, after that incident, i would've installed cameras all over the property and i would've shown the screwdriver bit to the cops to show that she isn't some helpless old lady. If she really was that old and confused, it should be time to send her off to a (hopefully bad) nursing home. Story 4: Forget low contact, i would've gone zero contact with the parents long ago. They clearly only care about the older sister here and not the OP. I absolutely hate people that try to pull the "family helps family" card, especially when they blatantly ignore you your entire life and when you become either rich or successful. Glad the OP blocked them after that dinner. Story 5: I can see that extra charge for a couple extra pounds/kilos, but 50 grams??? Really?!?!? You're going to be that over-zealous on this? That's just insane. OP got some great revenge here by eating pretty much exactly 50 grams of the chocolate in front of the airport lady, and even offering her some for good measures. It really seems like a lot of jerks like to work at airport security. I get that they have an unpleasant job to do, but she was definitely just being a jerk. Story 6: OP is definitely not a jerk, the wife and friends are. Why would the wife just automatically just expect him to pay for that expensive dinner... and tell her friends that he was automatically going to? That's just nuts... and then to scream at him over it because she was embarassed? No, lady, you embarassed yourself. Honestly, this wife really sounds like a golddigger to me and i would probably re-consider this marriage. If she's expecting him to always pay for things because "hes the man", then who knows what else she's going to try and send the bill to him for.
In the case of crazy pants, the crazy part of crazy pants is the key to this. if she is trying to demonstrate that she doesn't know where she is that she has no ability to actually take care of herself, then you can utilize that. you can show that she is a danger to herself and others and use that to get her locked away so that she doesn't hurt herself or others. I mean if she did that in the middle of the night, someone might mistake her for a burglar and then something horrible might happen for her own good. she really needs to be taken care of in a place with rubber rooms and perhaps a nice snug jacket
Honest opinion on that last story I don't understand why the original poster married this woman if she's always done this to him because I know for a fact if mine new bride-to-be just flip the bill on me with her and her friends on top of even if this was the first time my trust first time married wife did that to me like I said divorce would already be on the table immediately the moment I saw that side that would be it I don't care what her friends have to say and I don't care what the spouses of her friends have to say same thing goes for her family because I know for a fact of I mistreated like that I'm going to expose the truth and I'm going to divorce how long one day because I'm better off being single again and waiting to date once again and maybe marry somebody that isn't a spoiled little needy bitch who thinks I got to pay for her and her friends
My work on Sunday put me on suspension pending investigation just because I told a customer no I couldn't serve him to go alcohol cause I had to run to the restroom.
If CrazyPants wants to pull the confused old lady routine, let her. Take it one step further and document everything then call whatever elderly protective services you have about your 'concern' for your neighbor who keeps wondering into other peoples' homes and ask about a nursing home or assisted living apartment for her.

This is weird to me because of the fact that if that lady did that in my country, she would very likely get shot and killed.😂
Your country is full of entitled crazies and they even infiltrated your political parties. I said it before and I'll say it again:
Welcome to Wackyland
Population: 332 million nuts and an indicted orange squirrel
_It can happen here_
Use ghost chillis
In the US that action (taking public mail) is a felony. Us is fucked up a number of ways.
Your dad is nice not to have beaten her with a bat.
Did you fry em ?
Honestly in that last story the husband needs to look into getting an annulment or divorce that kind of behavior is disgusting and you should also cut off the family I told him that he's being a jerk and should have just paid. I don't care who you are never deal with that kind of stuff and take it lying.
So crazy pants is a narcissist
Crazypans would have gotten her ass whooped regardless of her age.
Agreed, especially by the grandpa. He could then pull the same 'old person' card.
Last one... No, absolutely not the jerk. A man is responsible for paying for himself, his wife and his kids.
Not every single person the wife knows.
That's an expense you talk about altogether beforehand.
Hope it's not a sign that she's only with him for his money.
If so, hope he sees how it really is and gets out asap.
ok sir how about we go to court
Question, why do you pronounce mum differently then you do with mom when they're the same thing just with different spelling? Sorry if this seems rude im just genuinely curious as to why
What's the game in the background I forgot the name
*scoffs* from now on no entitled kids allowed EVER! >:(
What game is this in the background?
Prototype I think.
Story 2 .. legally.. until you pay for an item.. it doesnt belong to you.. so eating/drinking and item is stealing... so dont do stupid shit
Second story they dont have enough people working i wonder why
What is the game name he is playing
Hi
Not many comments
Why was the secons story on this list? He did nothing...
Story 6: That doesn't sound like a wife, that sounds like a sugar baby.
Gameplay : Prototype 2
What is this game
Is it your story’s or somebody else’s story’s
I think it’s other people’s cuz he has a description where u can tell ur story’s

Nah, airport scales a scale. Lighten your load or pay up. Simple as. If you're over, you're over. No exceptions.

Bet you won't pin this comment :D
My work on Sunday put me on suspension pending investigation just because I told a customer no I couldn't serve him to go alcohol cause I had to run to the restroom.
If CrazyPants wants to pull the confused old lady routine, let her. Take it one step further and document everything then call whatever elderly protective services you have about your 'concern' for your neighbor who keeps wondering into other peoples' homes and ask about a nursing home or assisted living apartment for her.
