Replace distributor on Hyster S50C forklift & Continental f163 engine -Points to electronic ignition

This video shows you how to replace the points distributor on a Hyster S50C forklift with a Continental f163 engine and convert it to an electronic ignition system using Pertronix products. This is the same engine that powers the famous Lincoln SA-200 engine-driven welder. Parts below:

This MAY be applicable to the S30c, S40c, and S50c. It MAY also be applicable to the f162 engine, in both gas and propane.
Before doing any of this, contact your local parts distributor and ask for advice. My local parts distributor is hiloindustrial....
Then, contact Pertronix and get them to recommend the appropriate parts for your machine.
This forklift and engine have been manufactured for decades and will have major differences between years. ASK for advice from dealers/distributors and PLAN before doing this.

Hey, do you know what to do if the distributor won't come out? It may be totally seized on my forklift, won't come out with a bar either.

Might seem obvious, but make sure the hold-down clamp is out. Other than that, just give it the old torch and hammer.
