- Combat Mission Cold War is set in the tipping-point years of a conflict that gripped the world for 45 years. Between 1979-1982, both the NATO and Soviet Warsaw Pact militaries began the shift away from industrialized warfare of the early 20th century and towards the modern digital battlefield of today. Combat Mission Cold War simulates several “what if” conflict scenarios between US and Soviet forces centered on the strategic Fulda Gap and environs in West Germany.

Great video. If you’re making more, i think you should try decreasing the game sounds during the moments you’re talking, and bring them back up as you see fit. But again, good video, and hope to see more.

Does this scenario have different options?I remember playing it, but my force had M150 TOW vehicles, not the M901. Nice editing, btw.
The only option I see in the battle menu is for the M901. I think you can load the mission file into the quick battle or mission editor and change the unit though. Thanks!
It would be nice to see how you positioned those TOW- vehicles to be this lethal and still survive. I just tried my Steam- version on this scenario, and even though I was able to stop the Soviets, my vehicle losses were really bad.
Edit: Returning to beginning the positions were fairly well visible after all. On the left flank you had yours further back, but on the right flank fairly similar than mine. Mine just had the tendency of being spotted and destroyed before they got even one missile off.
I had some luck on this mission, a couple near misses but I think the foliage helped obscure the soviets spotting. Moving vehicles behind slopes and building while they reload seemed to help as well! Thanks for the comment!
@@Gav624 Thanks for the reply! Did you micro them into cover for loading, or is there some way to set this as a multiple commans, other than hunt - pause 30 - reverse?
@@pultsari9036 Ya it takes some micro, you can use the pause command to time how long the exposure is for. Don't use hunt as that will delete the next commands once they identify a target. Move-Pause-Reverse is what I do!
