      darius davis that was Jay-Z's original style which is why most people think he a fraud...check how Young Chris and BIG rhymed by the early nineties and then see Jay-Z shit next too it...Biting niggas shit was quite apparent in the 90s and 2000. From rhymes to their style, look, and delivery, Jay-Z constantly switched up with the times. I give him credit, its one of the reasons he been around and relevant for so long. But I can't get over that he did bite some people shit, well most rappers do it anyway, mfers cant think for themselves!!!

      Jay-Z has sooooooo much iller displays of lyricism then this. This is just mostly average fast rap but nothing special technically dope skill wise lyrically. This more about fast flow it’s not about ill lyricism at all. Jay-Z 95-03 is WAY > this for most part.

    • @mutedmutiny9542
      @mutedmutiny9542 Рік тому +1

      @@superdopehiphop yeah, this really isn’t that amazing of a “display”. Pretty much every rapper that had a fast flow did it better than Jay did. Twista, Bone, I know there are others but those are the ones that immediately come to mind. This style really didn’t suit him. His verse on “the graveyard” was way better than this and probably a better showcase of his skills.

    If Jay-Z still rapped on old school beats and kept his 'riggedy diggedy' flow he'd be insanely irrelevant by now. He was smart enough to adapt his sound and try out different things which a lot of older rappers could do with trying nowadays.
