Remember to freeze your rice at least 1 week prior to using it. This will kill eggs left behind by weevils.
I just filled mine with bath beads from dollar tree. They smell so good. Then you don't have to worry about it.
What brand of rice? I've made bags with rice to heat for a heat pack and the rice smells when warmed. Any suggestions?

I LOVE THE EARBUDS for noses! BRILLIANT! I bought the stuff to make these last year and didn't because I didn't know what to use for noses The ones online were too big.
I thought about clay ones but I didn't feel like clay would really go with as much cloth as these snowman are.
Squishy foam ones! Those are such a great idea! Thank you!
Walmart has snowflake buttons that look very similar to what you used. They have other cute decorative buttons that are great to apply to these types of crafts.

I've been quarantined for months, live alone, no family and retired from computer world. I stumbled across you heroes and am now hooked. I still feel like Lucy on the chocolate candy assembly line, bought the cannon sized hot glue gun from Amazon and nothing is safe from glue in my home! Now I know to get the small portable like yours, so my fingers can heal from burns. lol You are so much fun!!! THANK YOU!!!

This is perfect. I have my little granddaughters make a little present for their parents every year, and this will fit the bill. (We live a mile away from each other, so mommy and daddy get a gift from the bobbins when we see each other on Christmas). I’m also a crafter, so I have buttons, google eyes, all kinds of little things, whatever they see in their heads lol. I crochet too for a little scarf if they want, but the little hat? Perfect. Hi Jody, your snowmen are adorable! I've been making them for years and they remind me of real snowmen because each one is unique. One thing I do sometimes that you may want to try is put on arms made of brown or candy cane pipe cleaners. I just use a piece that I bend to look like an arm and twist a shorter piece on to create a hand. Then you can put a pom pom snowball, a tiny bird, a cand cane, a sign, etc in the hand. It just adds another dimension and make a them even more unique. I made one for the crossing guard at my kids school years ago holding a stop sign, lol. Merry Christmas!

I watched your sock snowman video this morning. Probably fifteen years ago my Step-mother made me a whole set of sock snowmen, one for each of my children, my husband and I. When I saw your video I had to watch it. I have been wanting to make a set for my son and daughter-in-law and granddaughters. I lost my precious step-mother to Breast Cancer in 2016. Watching your video made me remember her kind heart, and gentle spirit. She made Christmas so special. Thank you.

I love snowflakes and snowman because you can leave them out for all winter.
OMGoodness I love these!! I made some last year!! I added some essential oil to the rice so my snowmen smelled good too!! I used orange fabric puffy paint for the nose and I also used a tad of actual blush for their rosy cheeks!

Hey just a cute when pouring your rice in the sake use a plastic bottle cut it in half turn it upside down with the part that you would drink out put it in your stocking hold it really tight and now it's a poor and you won't pour on everywhere really cute tip for you it works for me I really like your snowman cute idea been doing them forever too and I would make gnomes out of them too have a good love from Missouri

These snowmen are so stinking cute. I really like the scarves to make their hat and scarf the best but the socks are cute also. Good idea for the noses, only a crafter would think like that, me NO ha ha. Last year I made a few pipe cleaner snowmen in different colours to go with the paper I was using for Christmas, didn't think of the nose at the time......I ended up colouring the end of a Q-tip orange, cutting it off and using that. Love all your crafts and videos. Cant sleep so am up watching (2:50 a.m.) Have a great Wednesday...…...hugsssssssssss

I like to use black puffy paint for eyes and mouth and orange puffy paint for nose and a little pink blush with a Q-tip for the cheeks
