ive had the same thought about cross-province travel for quests too! would be so epic to have to travel across the whole continent to complete a quest. As you said, nothing like that is PLANNED - but modders can make it happen
2 years ago I played Beyond Skyrim Bruma and it was fantastic. It was a little rough in some places, but what they accomplished is amazing. The recreation of Bruma and it’s county is perfect. Can’t wait to see the final product with the whole Cyrodiil.
Definitely the Beyond Skyrim projects are a labour of love and playing them will be an incredible experience. I did the walk from the Skyrim border to the Sentinel statue. Super immersive and it was so nostalgic looking at the Imperial City. Only played it for 30 mins. I'm yet to play Bruma properly. Once Midwood Isle completes, will get into it!
This is my ES dream. To leave Skyrim behind, To not step foot back in her for alteast 6 months, To be in a different country. I cant wait to go back home to Cryodiil where it all started for me as a 14 kid. The Empire is calling and we shall come. Like i dont give a flying shit about TES 6. And ill be mad at tes 6 for fucking with these guys lore. I'll feel robbed of the stories they created for us. I'm happy with there never ever again being another TES Game. Just Elder Scrolls V Tamriel
Man I dream about Beyond Skyrim projects all coming out and all being Amazing. Just feeling in a world larger than any other game i have ever played. The sheer freedom to go anywhere and do anything. And the modding community just going wild with new quests, NPCs, and areas to discover... Shor's Bones! This would be a sight to see!!! Imagine coming back to skyrim and feeling like you missed it from all these years you have been away. Feeling like your coming home... then a week passes and your wanderlust grabs hold! You are off to Argonia, Daggerfall, or Morrowind! Or dealing with the politics at the imperial city! Just go anywhere and do anything! Living the dream!
Cyrodiil's foe could very well be Umaril. Or some ayleid king. Also, if I'm not wrong, some argonians in TES3 called Black Marsh "Argonia", so it's not that weird of a change.

Devs have stated that Titus Mede just gets killed by someone else offscreen. It's not like the Dark Brotherhood are the only assassins on Tamriel. Basically there's a certain point in the Seat of Sundered Kings questline where the emperor needs to be dead to continue. Once you reach that point, one of four things will happen: If you've finished the Dark Brotherhood and killed the Emperor then things just continue. If you destroyed the Dark Brotherhood, the Emperor just gets killed by a different group of assassins and things continue. If you've started the Dark Brotherhood, but have not yet killed the Emperor, you need to go do that before you can continue. If you've not started the Dark Brotherhood, you're given a popup that warns you that continuing down the Seat of Sundered Kings questline will lock you out of being able to do so. You can just ignore it and continue, in which case the game basically treats it as if somebody else did the Dark Brotherhood questline and killed the Emperor in your stead.
Sorry if you misunderstood the title. Beyond Skyrim is a series of projects set in various regions of Tamriel. In this video, I was talkin bout the worldspaces being created by the teams.
Skyrim by itself is under 12 GB in size. When all of these regions are finished, adding on all the other mods that fix lore errors, patches for various inter-mod bugs, cross region quests, and filling out every millimetre of the world, I wouldn't be surprised if the total amount of space needed is several TERABYTES.
I feel like doing the whole of each province was WAY too ambitious. They should have hyper focused one area of each maybe two or three cities and their surrounding areas for each province. Then when those were done then maybe think about doing the rest. This is doing too much and is promising alot...
A. Beyond Skyrim is NOT a single team. They are 8 different independent team that share a name and assets. B. You can NOT force volunteers to work on a province or even area they don't like. C. Exactly. I love survival mode! That is huge!
I play in survival mode so there better be carriages!
Already a thing for some radiant quests.
This is so goooood. We still have lots to do before TES 6 came out in 2099
Excited for my grandchildren to play this 10 years after I'm dead.

Just like how Skyrim changed the TES II: Morrowind's lore for Skyrim: Home of the Nords.

I wonder if the Dragonborn is able to become the next emperor
For the Seat of Sundered Kings, what happens if you destroyed the Dark Brotherhood (as they deserve) instead of playing out the questline?
Devs have stated that Titus Mede just gets killed by someone else offscreen. It's not like the Dark Brotherhood are the only assassins on Tamriel.

Almost none of these are out yet and Project Tamriel only has two tiny prerelease areas. It's way too early to really be judging either of these.
