Great guide man, I've been looking to play this game for so long, today I'm finally starting my 1st ever Daggerfall journey and thanks to you for all the little tips!
The thing about making Orcish material restricted is that if you get Mehrunes Razor you wont be able to equip it because even though it is described as an "Ebony Dagger" its actually classified as orcish for some reason.
What I miss in Daggerfall Unity is the thrill of the original game. The thrill to know that each time you go through a door in a dungeon, you risk falling through the world. ;)
If you choose high elf race (with immunity to paralysis) you can choose disadvantage: critical weakness to paralysis for "free" to mitigate a special advantage
@@GES1985 This used to work in the original Daggerfall, but a commenter told me that it was adjusted in Daggerfall Unity. Check my pinned comment for the details.
Thank you sir! I always like to know how a game functions without being spoiled on much actual gameplay and or story, and I feel you did well not spoiling.
ESO is just okay to me. It doesn't offer the ultimate freedom that the rest of the Elder Scrolls games offer, and the map and some classes are still locked behind DLCs.
@@Tattletale-Delta Skyrim's latest edition has all content prepackaged at $30, and it is also on Xbox Game Pass. ESO DLCs cost $35.99+ a pop, and some of them are years old.
Make sure the quest objective is actually completed, you can’t open dialogue with the NPC who gave it to you until it is. And make sure you are speaking with the correct NPC, if you saved before taking the quest, like I showed in the video. Then you might wanna reload. Alternatively, you could enter the command “purgenonstoryquests” this will cancel any quests you currently have except for the main quest. It’s safe to do that, you will not gain a quest reward or lose any reputation from it. I don’t recall this ever happening to me, but the game can definitely be buggy at times.
Hmm, I can't find any "brightness" settings... Do you have this issue with other games? If you copy my video settings to the best of your ability, and you still have that problem, then it may be related to your monitor settings. One of these settings may be the culprits: Shadow resolution, Resolution, or Quality Level.
@@DudioStudios I managed to solve the issue. The problem happened because of the mod 'Better Ambience'. After disabling this mod, the problem was solved.
@@CCamilleri1982 Maybe it is not necessary to disable the mod. DId you try the settings of the Batter Ambience mod? There is an option "Dungeon Lighting", and I set it to 0,6. It works great.

I guess I’m to stupid to play unity because I do everything you say and it wants me to set the path to the daggerfall game files after I click on the icon in the new folder I created.😢
1. Download the original Daggerfall from Bethesda’s website for free. 2. After downloading, extract the Daggerfall game files to wherever you wish. 3. When you run Daggerfall Unity for the first time, it will ask for the location of the original game files. 4. Lead it to wherever you extracted the original Daggerfall files. Such a great job. I forgot how to get out of the dungeon, and your key binds are God tier. This dude here man

Fantastic video! :) :)
Its my understanding that medical has no effect on magic regen. Its 8 hours no matter what from empty to full magic.
I also really like the game that takes place 719 years before the events of Daggerfall.
