Absolutely lovely, both the joke and the playing. I keep looking for videos of you playing Four Seasons (feeling nostalgic during the holidays). I still feel that you are one of the ones who plays it at a nice tempo. Brilliant. 🤗Blessings. Hope you and your family are well.

Itzhak Perlman was one of the four violinists who recorded a live performance of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with the Israeli Philarmonic under the direction of Zubin Mehta. My favorite recording ever of that work. I don't know which season he played but Spring is my favorite.
BTW if you ever come to San Francisco, there are four Victorian houses in a row in the Haight District, they are known as the "Four Seasons houses," because each has medallions on the front corresponding with the season. They are one block uphill from Haight & Masonic, on Waller Street.

Thank you. I’ve eaten a chicken like that. It came with a recipe. Boil this chicken with three stones and vegetables for fourteen hours. When the stones are tender, throw the chicken out and eat them.

Oh, that joke *was* painful. It reminds me of a Roald Dahl story about a couple of greedy antique dealers who try to buy an incredibly valuable sideboard from a naive farmer, and in order to get it for even lower than rock bottom, they tell him that they only want the feet, the rest is worthless, but they will come back in a week when they've arranged movers, and move it. They come back and the farmer has the feet for them, but not the rest. They of course ask where the rest is, and he said kindly, well I thought I'd save you some money hauling it away and it's been a cold winter so I broke it up and burned the rest of it in the fireplace.
Ah, I just found it by googling it on the web. Haven't checked yet to see how accurate my memory was.
