    Thank you for being meticuluous in your attention to specifics such as: the proper pronunciation, using the correct tones and repetition of the phrase done slowly and then at normal speed. I also appreciate it when you use your hands to demonstrate the tonal flow of the word. You are a most excellent teacher! Keep up the good work!

    Thank you very much for addressing the formal language R and non formal L or dropping R. I wish all Thais spoke with R because it's easier to understand ;) Every teacher teacher with R, and then you go to Thailand and you don't hear it and at first you think it's a different word. It's not easy to adjust the listening part. Formal Thai vs casual is like day and night difference. Your explanations, variety of examples, nice editing, clear pronunciation, English ability to explain stuff is really great :) I wish you recorded more often but I know it takes times. Keep up the great work! I will be in Bkk soon, if you wanted to grab some free coffee on me, let me know xD Thanks for the videos!

      When you hear the full sentence you’ll understand it. Thai is very exact language once you’ve learned and remember most of the words. You’ll enjoy using it as a beautiful language.

    Hello, can some tell me the difference between saai and chaa?
    Both are late but when to use which? 9:14

    • @IgetThais
      @IgetThais  Рік тому +2

      สาย (săai) is used to describe being late for an appointment, meeting, or scheduled event. For example, if someone arrives late for a meeting, you can say เขามาสาย (káo maa săai), meaning he/she came late.
      ช้า (cháa) is more commonly used to describe something that is slow or delayed in terms of speed, progress, or timing. For example, if you want to tell someone that walks too slowly you can say คุณเดินช้า (khun dern cháa), meaning you're walking slowly.
      สาย is specifically used for being late in terms of arrival or punctuality, while ช้า is used for describing a delay or slowness in general.
