Great information but the best bit is the European Standard ''Jump On It To Break It Test ''. Clearly each test operative has been force fed to ensure correct wieght allowance as specified by ISO institute and indicated by footware colour. Excellent ;-)
Just a joke that works for a sample piece not how u pull a seam in the field. Not to mention that that glue doesn't work for most quartz. Not enough pigments in the glue. Makes a grey line in white quartz. Also id you use a seam phantom the edge is sharp so you need to level it with the posts before you suck it tight other wise u risk chipping it. Glue works good for natural stone because natural stone is little translucent like thst premixed glue. But quarts is not so no light get through it. So if you have a translucent glue in a white seam in a material that doesn't let light through it cast a shadow in the seam thus making it look grey. Just saying
If it’s corian yes, if it’s Quartz or granite. A colour matched jointing compound could be used to dampen the sight of the scratch and remove the feel of it. The compound you see in this video, is designed for acrylic surfaces like Corian and slab tec. Can be used for chip repairs, scratches, seamless joints, snapped worktop repair, truly limitless.
Did you dry fit the pieces to make sure they were level before you glued and pulled them together? What do you use for a buffing compound? Thanks for the video.
1.Before you glued, please make sure the two pieces of stone at the same level. Some Skilled workers have other good ideas. 2. After scrape the cured glue, use wax.
Dear Vialda, Greetings! We also have the colors from Corian. And i need to say, it is ok if you want to bond two sheets. But if you want to attach your slabls with the glues onto the walls, it does not work. You should buy the glue for cladding for drywall. miki@dgkongder.com www.dgkongder.com
