I'm not a kitchen fitter but I installed a similar worktop myself after watching this - even though I was a bit unsure as to whether to follow this guy's tips, given that everyone was knocking his work. But he seemed like he knew what he was doing, so I took a chance, and do you know WHAT, all you bloody naysayers...! Yeah. My worktop turned out absolutely shite as well.
This is a good starting point, but it felt like the DIY/Low Budget method. I've been watching a few different videos today and this was the "cheap" way to do it from what I've seen. But if you're happy with the results then that's fine, I suppose.
I don't like to talk trash about other workers, I don't know where he work either. If the customer or wife is happy, it's ok. But the thing I'd learn in this video is: I'm in a different level.
Then your boss should learn about some countertops, this one on the video is definitely not a natural stone. Quartz it is. But the installation at all looks more than epic pornography, da fuck happened :D
As a professional quartz and granite countertop fabricator and installer, please do not do this. You void your warranty when you surface polish quartz.
Lmao 45 on that splash looks ugly never polishe the surface cut the Seam at and angle so it can close as much as possible and at least use white pads so the glue doesn't turn black doesn't hold the makita the right way to cut stupid idea of the 4 rocks and the clamps
I think these are put here so pros continue to have work after failure unfortunately everything is wrong from the way it was brought in to the very end. run on sentence
@@diegosalinas9463 no precisamente pero tengo 10 años instalando granito ,quarzo, marmol, porcelana.. Y el quarzo no se le tiene que pulir la cara a menos que sea muy necesario

I install granite and the best and cleanest way to do it outside so as not to make too much dust.
I would be fired if my boss saw me carry a countertop flat like that.

You’re not supposed to polish quartz surface 🤦🏻♂️
Exactly what I was thinking we don't touch surface with anything, crazy.
Really? I can match any quartz finish with my service renew pads and some time. Looks perfect. Just need the right tools!
You're just scared haha
@@deants5149 actually you void the warranty on every single product we carry if you surface polish it like that.
@@evanbremner65 you might be able to. But if the customer has a warranty issue, you've voided it. Read the warranty info.
Ive been doin this 35 yrs and have seen an install like this
El pegamento conque era era. Pintura o silicon
This is crazy. Not the right way to install countertops 😂
Video muy profesional

All joints should be prepared in production not on site in a house causing dust
What type of glue is that?
ELMER'S SKHOOL GLUE MY FRIEND 😀😀😀😀👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Why isn't that perimeter seam cut at a 45 LOL??

These dudes couldn't make a color to save the human race
Im crazy or this ppl have different tipe of pads that they can polish the face of stone 😱😱😱. Ppl never polish quartz face .🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
There is a thing called surface renew. Or donkey pads. They work wonders. But you better know what you're doing.
Jeez. The music is mind numbing.
