While it's sad he died, imo, Pullman is heavily overrated. They only hold him in high regard BECAUSE he's dead. No one cared about him prior to his death.
The one that really stands out to me as wasted potential is Damian Sandow. The “Intellectual Savior of the Masses” character got super over very quickly, and was a very entertaining promo. WWE saw enough in him to allow him to win MITB, but that was taken away just as quickly and he was inexplicably pushed down the card. He was so good he even made the joke character of Damian Mizdow entertaining..
I think you can even add Riddick/Madcap Moss to that list. Before Triple H took over, he was slowly finding his spot and actually was beginning to get decent crowd reactions, but Triple H immediately stopped using him and fired him a year later. Its a shame, I thought he had potential along with everyone else mentioned.
If only AJ Lee had hung around a little longer. Just imagine the feuds she could've had with the Horsewomen. Man... that would've been wrestling GENIUS. Thanks Andy!
Imagine Brodie Lee leading the Dark Order against Jon Moxley and his group today. Role reversal of their 2020 with actual fans. Brian Pillman prior to his accident was great in the ring. The fact he could pull off the Loose Cannon proved how badly WCW fumbled him. Pair his in ring with his character work at full potential, man a feud with Stone Cold, Michaels, Hart, Rock, Angle, Jericho, Guerrero, or even an anti authority against McMahon would've been money.
Monty Brown and Ken Shamrock are two of the biggest "What If"s I always think about. The last and possibly biggest of all being MISTERRRRRR KENNEDY!! KENNEDY!!

Baron Corbin joining Judgment Day would have been absolutely lit. He would've literally become the next Kane with a better intimidating character, even better than Priest. Right now, he's just there 😢
Not just Brodie Lee for Luke Harper would have been a great deal for the WWE I'm not just being biased because he's from my home City but it's talented
if Ken Shamrock had gotten into pro wrestling just a bit earlier he would've been so sick to see in UWFi or RINGS Terry Gordy was a really big case of this IMO due to the permanent brain damage he suffered in 1993 from a drug induced coma, was on the path to be the next Stan Hansen/Steve Williams in AJPW Yoshiaki Fujiwara, although I think this one's kinda on him just because he tended to not stay in one place for too long. Low Ki, but that's his own fault for burning bridges with anyone and everyone he can. Never was gonna be a mega-star just due to his size and not great promo ability but he's a dude who would've had a solid career as a midcarder anywhere in the world if he could've just controlled his ego. Could say the same about Austin Aries. James Storm could've been something if TNA wasn't so allergic to belting up any young guy not named AJ Styles in the 2000s. By the time they made him anything, it didn't matter because he was past his prime and the company was sinking. Katsuyori Shibata I think was on the path to becoming IWGP Heavyweight Champion before the brain injury derailed everything and (briefly) ended his career. That being said, the career he ended up having was still amazing. Claudio Castagnoli and Shelton Benjamin, just two absolute freak athletes undone by their lack of ability on the mic. Alex Riley’s new generation reincarnation is Austin Theory. Riley claims he got buried by Cena, and Theory sought revenge by trying to become the New Cena.
I wouldn't say Riley himself claimed it, there's been other wrestlers who've said it more directly. In fact, I don't think Riley has ever gone into it as much as others have.
Monty Brown probably would have had at least one reign as NWA World Heavyweight Champion in Total Nonstop Action if it wasn't for the reign of terror known as Jeff Jarrett, which was going on around the same time as the Triple H reign of terror.
Its such a shame how much Triple H apparently didn't like the guy, he had so much Charisma and looked like a star and I was always entertained whenever he was on screen, and before his injury he was actually over. I think he implied he was probably done with wrestling, and I can't blame him tbh. AEW would waste him and TNA probably wouldn't give him enough of a spotlight
As a kid in the 80s I can tell you first hand that when Magnum T.A. wrecked his Porsche 911 turbo and we saw the pictures of it in the wrestling magazines it felt kinda like when Superman died. Brodie Lee played his character brilliantly. R.I.P to not only a great wrestler but a human being aswell.
AJ Lee singlehandedly transformed the women's division around 2011-2013. Ufortunate that she retired so early as she had a lot more to years to offer.
A shame she's the only woman on this episode list.
Bro, Paige made contributions as well, more in NXT
What could have Paige been today if it wasn’t for her neck issues
