A Wet And Windy Commute to Work On The Benelli TRK 502X - How Does It Cope?

- I've been using The Benelli TRK 502 X for commuting to work for a few weeks now. Join me on one of those journeys to hear my thoughts on it. Is it a good commuter motorbike? Would I recommend one of these adventure style motorcycles?

I used to love heading home from work (retired police) facing into a few days off. It does not feel as good when every day is a day off. Id be a bit more cautious of showing everyone where you live and how to get to your garage etc on the internet though.
My retired father in law says the very same thing about every day being a day off.
You're right, maybe I am being a bit too relaxed about my security, thanks for the advice.
Seems to be a real winner for the money
I certainly is, they're great value
I chucked a couple of spots on my TRK, it really made a huge difference to night rides. Can't recommend them enough. Love my Benelli!
I've been thinking of doing that. Although it looks a lot darker on camera to what it really was.
@@ivy-mac Pardon the pun, but difference was night and day. They're a pair of LCD about 3.5 inches across the lens. But night aside, I've sat at T-intersections in broad daylight (and it gets very bright in NZ) and I could see spots clearly and brighter than headlight in shop windows. Makes a nice light triangle too which may help people assess your approach speed a little better. We have one of the lowest driving standards in the OECD down here, and frankly, putting spots on my bike was one of those 'why didn't I do this sooner?' moments for me. Just as a daytime aid, I'll never ride a bike again without spots.
@@clivegower-collins9012 that's food for thought 👍
im a postman and ive got a benelli trk 502x
Postie's rock 👊😂 What do you think of your Benelli?
I too ride a 502X in S.E Asia so l don’t envy your weather, can l ask where you attached your 360 camera it was an interesting perspective.
Hi Darryl, yes, the weather over here sucks 😅
I attached the insta360 to the crash bar, and extended it out, with the selfie stick, to just beyond the front wheel.
@@ivy-mac thanks I’ll give it a try.
