I used to love heading home from work (retired police) facing into a few days off. It does not feel as good when every day is a day off. Id be a bit more cautious of showing everyone where you live and how to get to your garage etc on the internet though.

My retired father in law says the very same thing about every day being a day off.
You're right, maybe I am being a bit too relaxed about my security, thanks for the advice.

I know the feeling,, I used to work in London ,but on my days off I used to travel up to Lincolnshire,,the thing is I used to finish work at around 10.30pm ,so really it was a over night trip,,,and no traffic to speak of.. OH my sometimes I give my old RT some gas...great fun...... (except at the end of one trip ,near home ,bombing down a lane (70+) a tree had come down ,I did not see until too late ,and just managed to get under a crook in the tree ,it was nearly my head)

I chucked a couple of spots on my TRK, it really made a huge difference to night rides. Can't recommend them enough. Love my Benelli!

I've been thinking of doing that. Although it looks a lot darker on camera to what it really was.

@@ivy-mac Pardon the pun, but difference was night and day. They're a pair of LCD about 3.5 inches across the lens. But night aside, I've sat at T-intersections in broad daylight (and it gets very bright in NZ) and I could see spots clearly and brighter than headlight in shop windows. Makes a nice light triangle too which may help people assess your approach speed a little better. We have one of the lowest driving standards in the OECD down here, and frankly, putting spots on my bike was one of those 'why didn't I do this sooner?' moments for me. Just as a daytime aid, I'll never ride a bike again without spots.

Hi Darryl, yes, the weather over here sucks 😅
I attached the insta360 to the crash bar, and extended it out, with the selfie stick, to just beyond the front wheel.

@@Richard-pe4cx yeah, the exhaust sounds great without annoying the neighbours.
The suspension works really well on bad roads 👍

What waterproof gear do you use?

@@imskylar at the moment, I've got a Spidi Traveler H2out. It's brilliant, completely waterproof, lots of vents for summer, and very good quality.
