Hey Brian, I am looking at purchasing a trk for my next bike. I come from a ktm 390 adventure. The trk costs 7500 euros new here, how has your impression been on the bike for the time u bedn riding it?
Go test ride one tristan im well happy with mine i test rode the nx500 and was underwhelmed then test rode the 750 transalp that was a nice bike to ride but after riding the benelli 702x it was just as good as the transalp to me so with saving myself 3 grand and having all the luggage thrown in free and it coming with its own tracker fitted free on the benelli app whats not to like awsome it rides great ive no complaints

What bothers me is the windscreen of the 702X is smaller while you expect larger according to hp, like that of the 502. Overall I find the 702X looks more stylish, especially the headlight (main point or turn off for choosing a bike). But I've read the fuel consumption of the 702 is a lot more. So while the fuel tanks are almost the same size the distance you can drive depends a lot. Seems around 1L/25km for the 502 and 1L/20km or less for the 702. So for touring the 502 is better I guess? Means less stops...

Well, im a couple inches taller than you, and want a little more power. So i want the 702 engine in the 502 platform 😀 (due to better seat, longer wheelbase, higher seat/screen, possibly better weather protection .

502x its rocking on road now a days, people's see it as bumble bee character from transformer movie, headlight looks like eyes and huge size makes bike muscular in that price 👍👌✨️🥰
I've got the 702, bloody uncomfortable after about 80 miles, the seat is terrible, have to use an air hawk seat to make it tolerable, why didnt they give the 702 the same comfy seat as the 502 🤦♂️
Truly intresting comparison of the best low price crossover, what's the difference of the engine in 502 TRK is the crankshaft at 360° a unique feature that provide the great sound and a driving so magnificent. This bike shocked the Italian market in the last three years. not the same for the 702 TRK that is only a great honesty crossover with a normal destiny like so many other bikes. Ciao, Fabio
Think the engine of the 700 is better for pillion riding etc, but looks etc I actually prefer the 502. but tbh looks like you can't go wrong with either.
I removed the dash and put plenty of Eva foam underneath and removed the tank cover and put tins of Eva foam sled adhesive blocks. All rattle gone. Now it's more enjoyable.
Mate i tell you this. I test ridden this lady (702) 2 days ago, and i cant get her off my mind! Bike is so beautiful and really punchy and qualitative for the money!!! I am coming from a suzuki bandit GSF 650 2007 so you can imagine how comfy i felt while riding little bennie! It felt like i can ride the whole Europe 😂. TRK 502 X a nightmare to work on to what I have seen the 702 no Better. My 502 dropped cylinder at 40000km, well looked after. Benelli never again for me.
I bought the Trk502x without a test ride, never looked back, most comfortable bike I've had.

I do believe the 502 has a 360 degree crank ( both pistons travelling up and down together ) Makes it sound a little bit like a triple.
I got the BN302R. and yes they are 360 degree 😀

I agree, i have the 502 and smashed out an easy 300 miles in one sitting! My arse?? Absolutely fine, could easily go again! 👍😂

702 all day and not just because of the bigger engine. Looks much better.
I have a 702x, it's a tractor and buzzes around the TFT somewhere... At 2000revs, driving me nuts!! Great handling though 👍
My 702 does too, it's around 3000rpm on mine

the 502 swingarm is steel. Only the 702 is alloy.
