Is this the video that would make me rethink about Benelli TRK 552x as the next bike... Was looking for something like this ownership review. Thank you
Hi, thnx for commenting. 552X is unlikely to come any time soon. Its not yet launched in international markets. TRK 702 series is yet to come to India. So that would be hoping against hope. Glad u liked my review !! Stay tuned !
Love your video 👍 it’s the first time I’ve seen your site and I’m very impressed , I watch a lot of videos from India over the years when I had a Himalayan for a while but now have a TRK 502X here in Australia , I love the bike but it is heavy and tall (the X model) like my Himalayan I’ve done a lot of things to my Benelli too led globes , led driving lights, Apple CarPlay gps system, front and rear dashcam , bar risers , throttle lock, for long freeway rides, plus other things I can’t remember so it’s set up for long distance riding in Australia , I’ve had a lot of motorcycles up 1900 cc but I’m happy to just cruise along at the speed limit nowadays , would I recommend this bike 🤔. Yes I would it’s a very solid motorcycle that will probably do 100,000 kilometres without any issues as seen on other videos in Italy and Spain etc , Keep up the great videos mate 👌
Hello friend, Appreciate your kind words and for stopping by to post much a long message. Its the first time I have received a long comment in my channel. I concur with all the remarks u have on the TRK. Its indeed a potent machine, deserving more love and attention of motorcyclists worldwide. Lastly, appreciate your patience to see thru the video and make a mention of thoughts here. Cheers, Ride Hard ! Ride Safe !
Hi, TRK 502 is likely to be phased out in next two years globally and replaced by 552 in 2025 in global markets. Europe likely to be first beneficiary. No news about India just yet. Chances also eminent for not launching the bike here as many predecessors are yet to see daylight in India.
Yeah, it may become an issue but haven't faced any till date. Have crossed water logging during monsoons, but those who have done Ladakh haven't reported any issues till date.
Thank you brother for this video! I am looking forward into buying a TRK, was eyeing for 702x but i will wait until 2024 EICMA to see if they will launch 902x! Greetings from Greece!
I had heard about this issue in previous editions of TRK. But thankfully, my bike isnt affected by this issue. Also, no case has been reported in my area (Kerala) in recent times.
Hi, so i checked with Benelli on the I day Ride. Both 702 & 552 are unlikely to launch in India, primarily due to emission standards. So India Benelli is contemplating launching 502 with full digital display. This can be expected in next 6 months. The price of the bike will also accordingly change.
Of course, i agree. Pricing by company is a major issue for lesser sales in India, and i have mentioned it. I used some Indian Jugaad and got it at ₹6.57L.
Good afternoon sir.do u think a guy 5'8" can ride this comfortably? Can u plz compare the riding quality on this bike vs tht of a premium one bmw /honda
Hi @Aatif, thnx for reaching out. Am 5'8", and have been riding this bike quite easily. As said, initial one month was struggle since i was used to much lighter bikes, but now the same old bikes feel like a toy. Therefore, u will get used to a big bike in some time. Even i doubted myself when i saw this bike first, but then i trusted my skills and experiences to go for one. As far as ride quality is concerned, u need to know that this bike gives good vibrations in most rpm ranges. These vibs are not discomforting but then you will need to get used to it. So compared to Honda NX500, this was the only point where Honda felt better. I like vibs as i had been riding old bullets for quite some time, hence can relate to vibs in a long journey. The power delivery of this bike upon opening throttle is tremendous, and the weight doesnt come in its way as an impediment. I test drove BMW 850GS last year, but since its in a diff CC category, it performs and delivers different. So cant compare to this bike, but the feel is very similar less vibs. So TRK at its price point, gives apt performance and ride quality. My 24 and 48 hrs on the saddle non stop are the testimony. Do consider SUBSCRIBING !!
Hi..so rear suspension is adjustable, but i havent felt a need for it. Its neither stiff or too soft and hence maintains a good balance. Most users havent fiddled around with the suspension.
@@PhilosopherOnWheels I don't care about the 'Benelli' brand persona, if a bike is reliable then it's reliable. How do your source the spare parts? Local dealer? Do they offer counter sales?
Mostly Benelli spares. But we owners have a group and one sources spares from abroad too. Also, some local guys have made enough spares. So, i got Crank 1 entire chain sprocket set which is half cost of orginal spares. U will get spares, no issues. But if u accident, then some spares have a long lead time to come. Normal regular use spares are always available.
For your height, i recommend that u visit a showroom of Benelli and test ride the bike yourself. More than height, its skills and experience which count here. I know many riders as tall as u r and have been riding the TRK 502 quite normally.
20000 in one year is amazing bro! Well done! And keep riding safe!

Hi…. Idea of 552 launch or any upgrade coming in 502. I really like this bike
Hi,

No news about India just yet. Chances also eminent for not launching the bike here as many predecessors are yet to see daylight in India.
Just curious as the silencer is downward did you face any issues in water crossing? Like knee lvl water crossings
Yeah, it may become an issue but haven't faced any till date. Have crossed water logging during monsoons, but those who have done Ladakh haven't reported any issues till date.
The headlight guard is just a OCD buying.
Wonderful ❤ where did you get belly pan guards bro & how much it cost?
Hi, did u mean sump or engine guard at the bottom ? I got that from Revvsters, Pune.
@@PhilosopherOnWheels engine guard bro , its looking nice

Glad I could help
Are you also facing issue where rear tyre wear uneven ?
I had heard about this issue in previous editions of TRK. But thankfully, my bike isnt affected by this issue. Also, no case has been reported in my area (Kerala) in recent times.
😍👏👏
When are they launching the new 502 with fully digital display ? Have you heard anything from dealers ?
Hi, so i checked with Benelli on the I day Ride. Both 702 & 552 are unlikely to launch in India, primarily due to emission standards. So India Benelli is contemplating launching 502 with full digital display. This can be expected in next 6 months. The price of the bike will also accordingly change.
I have doubt about digital display. Waited around 6 months in 2022 but no luck. I ended up paying 50K extra as they increased the price.
Great bike but 8L (on road Bengaluru) and providing only 47 bhp is too less
Of course, i agree. Pricing by company is a major issue for lesser sales in India, and i have mentioned it. I used some Indian Jugaad and got it at ₹6.57L.
@@PhilosopherOnWheelswhat’s that bro?
Nothing. Went with BH registration and also, barhained for lesser insuranve premium
service cost is overcharged for basic works benelli should have experts technicians
Yes, i agree. Service cost is very high and most wont be able to afford it.

Hi, have discussed mileage from 6:22-6:58.
Do let me know if you need more clarifications !
Im 5'4" would you suggest me this bike?

I am 5' 4" and have been riding this bike for 2 years done 14k kms.without any problem. Just go for it.
Same question 😅
