    Your videos helped me a lot. One of my brothers friends brought these pests into our home and following your advice over 6 months has made them essentially gone, no heat treatment of the home. You probably saved us a lot of money. I'll continue to treat my home probably for the rest of my life since I never want to deal with these bastards again.

    After using crossfire and getting rid of them I still woke up at 4 a.m. for a couple weeks to make sure that they weren't
    feeding on me . I'm not afraid of them I just don't like getting bit by them , they make my skin dry out and break out .

      Yeah, you get conditioned to keep looking for about another 6 months. And to the point that any small spec of dust, dirt, food that may be on the floor or furniture, you make sure it is not a bed bug. Then your heart calms down once you find out it is just a sesame from that burger you had from Burking King last week. No other insect leaves such an imprint.

      @@nathanlamont9920 Yup, I was doing that for many months after I got rid of them 10 months ago. I was even noticing my eye floaters again. And any bug in the garden - I'd have to see what kind of bug it was. I'd just recently stopped looking for them. and then, a few days ago, one of the little buggers crawled across my bed. Thank you so much for all that you do. I really needed to see this. I brought bedbugs home from work (mental health case management) last year that laid eggs, and I brought one in two weeks ago. And I just can't stop thinking about it. I laid Crossfire down and it's been a week and a half since I've seen any evidence. My body doesn't react to the bites, so I've spent every morning since the first time checking all of my sheets for blood and when I saw it again my heart sank. While I know I'll never have an infestation in my apartment, it really feels like I have one in my brain. So thank you again so much for this reminder. You're really out here doing the good work.

    I am currently in this situation -
    We had one treatment done already with K-Othrine Partix, with the active ingredient
    Deltamethrin. Do you have any insight on it?
    Unfortunately two weeks after we still found bedbugs living and I got bitten. I am right now looking for probably a different pest controller then the previous one. Im treating the matraces with a small steamer and we are doing laundry everyday but we don't have the funds to fight this....its a paralyzing feeling and knowing that my 5 month old baby girl might get by bitten is awful....
    I cannot stand it.
    I'm trying to use a product called EcoRenger. Got great reviews where I live in Germany but who knows....
    Its hard, no sleep - worries and working and being a dad trying to protect my family...its rough man.
    Thanks for trying to help us out there.
    Any suggestion on what else I could do?

    It took two days for me to completely clean the upstairs of my apartment. For reference I have a loft style apartment, two floors, 780 sq ft. Carpet everywhere except kitchen and bathrooms. When I kept getting bit by something I thought I was crazy. On my shoulders, neck, all exposed areas when I sleep. My boyfriend however never got bit. On Saturday I checked the headboard and lo and behold I found one. Squished it, blood came out. When my boyfriend came home we found another. So we threw out the headboard (it was cloth) completely. Moved bed from wall. I got to vaccuming, bagging everything up, and sprinkling diatomaceous earth in the corners. Washed and dried the curtains & sheets. Sprayed bed and bed frame with hotshot bed bug killer. Saw a crawling bug on the curtain but couldn’t quite tell if it was a baby bed bug or something else. Vaccumed Saturday and Sunday. It took FOREVER, two days, to just clean and spray upstairs. Today I worked on the loveseat, vacuumed every corner, saw things that could’ve been eggs but I couldn’t tell. Sprayed, dusted the d.earth on the legs, and washed cushion covers. Found what I thought could be one in the crack of a portable cooler that was on the floor but again couldn’t quite tell. Threw out anything we didn’t need (mostly cat scratch posts and a little cat castle) and sprayed down the cooler & threw that cooler outside to bake in the 102 degree Houston heat. I order crossfire and it’s suppose to be delivered today. I am praying that this works, because I have no idea where they came from or how bad the infestation is. Like I said we only saw 2 for sure on the headboard and I squished something on the wall by the bed that could’ve been one but again wasn’t sure. I’m tired y’all! This is hard work! Three days so far of vacuum spray dust wash dry repeat! And my boyfriend has cloth gun cases and I have no idea how to handle those so for now they’re just in trash bags taped up so nothing can get in or out. Please pray for me while I try to get rid of these annoying critters!

    Hello, love your info!
    I have a few questions. I have purchased crossfire for my small apartment for prevention purposes. I don't currently have bed bugs.
    1) Can I use just a regular spray bottle for spraying crossfire? I have a small apartment, so I won't be spraying a large area. Just my car and parts of my bed frame. For example, the same kind of bottle you might use to spray a cleaning solution? (Just the bottle I won't be mixing
    2)I plan on using it every month. I wont use the entire bottle that it came in. For the chemicals I dont use on the first spray, is it ok if I leave that in the original crossfire bottle for next time or will it go bad?
    Thank you!!!! Very much appreciate all your content!

    I hate these parasites due to how allergic my skin is to the bites. They leave blisters that turn into holes once it pops open then it looks like a cigarette burn. I don't know why my skin is so sensitive to them. My son gets horrible hives and welts. He still has scabs on him from June 6th when he stayed at a friend's house and came home with several hundred if not a thousand bites on him. Not even joking!! I had to take him to urgent care as soon as I picked him up . He's 17 and would not normally go to the doctors for much but he was miserable itchy and in pain from so many bites covering his body from head to toe. Only area not biten was his boxer area. That house is Soo infested and we had no idea. I ended up getting bites on my leg the next weekish so they must have hitch hiked on him into my house .. Luckily put two and two together and figured out what was biting me super fast. I bought cross fire immediately. Knock on wood I haven't been bitten since nor did I ever find anything other than one female on the couch that looked lost. I ripped my couch apart and didn't find any other ones. I took that female and put her in a baggie and sprayed hot shot BB killer on her.. I checked her a week later and she was still alive and laid 8 eggs and hatched out 8 babies. Luckily I never sprayed that crap in my house. It's definitely junk. I'm so glad I found out about crossfire before I made that mistake. So a pregnant female hitched a ride on him. We never ever had bed bugs before this time frame so I know it came from the infested house. I'm still pist off that they knew they were infested with bbs and still let my son stay there without ever making mention of it to us then my son comes home and I have to run him to urgent care. His neck was so swollen actually his entire body was swollen from the BB bites. The doctor said they must have smelled the different hormones my son put off and just liked him a lot. I was flabbergasted as to how many freaking bites he had covering his body. It was disgusting! I pray none are hiding . That's why I am so freaked out by them. I'd rather deal with fleas than bbs

    Jason, you're a savior. I have dealt with these bugs on and off for over 2yrs bc of my apartment neighbors and property management/pest control incompetence. I'm so glad I found your channel, only wish it had been sooner. I will refer anyone to your channel. I received my crossfire yesterday and will apply this weekend. Giving folks hope, facts, and empowerment is a blessing. Thank you for all you do! I will report back when I've been clear/no evidence after my own second treatment round💪🏽
    UPDATE: Since my first application 4 weeks ago I've had no evidence of bed bugs whatsoever. My property management let me move into a new unit (after only one of their applications this time, and with no follow up inspection--shows how unknowledgabel they are). Sure enough, I move some bugs over to the new unit. So, I am doing a 2nd application of Crossfire today for peace of mind.
    One thing I am curious of though, is how everyone is handling the disposal of the chemical once done and they still have leftover. I know it is not active 24hrs after being mixed. Jason, could you address this in future videos because I think it is important.
    Safe and proper disposal of chemicals/pesticides is so important for the environment (not harming pollinators, keeping our water systems clean, etc).
    Most people should have a local chemical/hazardous waste disposal place that will take in commercial and household waste. That said, I live in a 700 sqft. apartment and I wish I had known sooner that I would not need to mix the entire bottle/gallon. This time I plan to do 50% or 25% even, I just dont need it all. The trick is to do the math to make sure your ratios are still accurate. Half mix would be 6.5 oz Crossifre with 57.5oz water. A quarter mix would be 3.25oz Crossfire and 28.75oz water in case anyone needs to know! Best of luck all, stay strong, you CAN do this!

    I’m gonna give cross fire a try but can I ask do I have to use the whole bottle in one go or can I adjust the amount? (Meaning half the bottle, half the water etc).
    Also as far as I understand this is sprayed on the mattress directly, if I place the bedding back on mattress then will cross fire still work? Or does it need direct contact with the insects?
    Apologies if these questions are silly but if you don’t know then ask those that do and you seem to know your stuff.

    Dude I used crossfire for bed bugs but a month later they’re still around. Could these be resistant to crossfire?
    Can you recommend any other treatments/pesticides that general public can buy? I’m from the UK by the way.

      @@GreenAkersPC Thanks so much for the quick reply.
      I’ve just reapplied Crossfire today, I actually saw a live bedbug and sprayed it. I remember you saying they die in 5 mins if sprayed directly with Crossfire. But this little bug kept on staying alive 30mins after spraying! Does this mean resistance to Crossfire or possibly my Crossfire is fake (got it off Amazon).

    • @GreenAkersPC
      @GreenAkersPC  Рік тому +2

      It’s relative. Some bugs take longer to die than others. It isn’t a sign of resistance. The fact that you’re in the UK is an even better sign that the bugs are probably not resistant at all because neonics aren’t even used in the UK

      @GreenAkersPC I'm not living in the house yet. Would putting out CO2 "traps" after spraying Crossfire coax them out looking to feed or do I have no choice but to literally offer myself up as tribute? Sorry, I got greedy with the questions.

    • @GreenAkersPC
      @GreenAkersPC  Рік тому +1

      Co2 traps don’t work on bed bugs and I try my hardest to respond but can’t to every comment. Hope this helps though
