Been awhile since i visited this channel. You saved my life from bed bugs. Can't thank you enough Jason
My grandmas and our house got infested once and it cost my mom 7k between the two. A couple showed up again months later, used crossfire this time and it’s been a few years now without any. You saved our homes ty
I have a question that I'm sure you've mentioned, and I just missed. If that's the case, I apologize.
When using Crossfire, how long does it take for it to kill the bed bugs (your best guess)?. Also is Crossfire something that the bed bugs can inadvertently take back to their harborages with them, potentially killing eggs or other bed bugs?
Man..... I found your channel a few hours ago and have been binge watching ever since. Thank you for all of this information you're providing! Few and far between is a man who values people over his wallet. You, sir, are one of those few! Again, thank you for everything you're doing! You keep talking, and I'll keep listening.
Almost watch your videos everyday and I am confused about where to sleep after spraying my mattress. Wow, this fresh video just answers my question on time. Jason, thank you as always.
Great no nonsense info as always... Thanks Jason!🙂👍
Appreciate the bit of help we can get. Such a struggle.
Hey man, I really appreciate what you do. I just wanted to ask, what spray pattern do you recommend for applying Crossfire? I've been using a fan/mist spray, with a DB Smith sprayer, and once with a Chapin one. Maybe I just did it wrong, but it took 5 gallons to do my house and I know that's way too much lol. It definitely seems like too much is coming out because even a quick spray will drip. I'm only spraying baseboards, carpet edges, door/window trim, crown molding, and beds/sofas etc. Not whole floors or anything crazy.
Honestly, I'm considering just buying the B&G sprayer. But I don't know if I'm just using the wrong spray pattern, or if there's too much pressure from those sprayers, or both. Or if I am doing something else wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hello .. I had a problem with bedbugs in the past and I’m a student when I got to know about bedbugs and I informed to my lease officer and they called the pest control and they done a heat treatment and I’m out for 3 days through the whole process . When I returned back to my home i vaccumed everything but I’m still finding 2-3 bugs everytime even though I’m vaccuming my house every single time . And now I have seen somewhere in internet and trying baking soda and applied that throughout my walls after that I about to clean my room I found 2 bugs and later I did the same process sprinkled baking soda . Please help me with this problem I’m traumatised with these creatures even though I’m seeing 2-3 bugs I can’t able to take it these bugs suck 😞😞😭😭😭
Hey What 1 gallon sprayer do you recommend for crossfire and how much water do i mix it with, im thinking of getting the Chapin 20000 -Gallon Lawn and Garden Pump Pressured Sprayer from amazon as a alternative spray bottle to the B&G will that be effective? Also, what measuring cup should i use to measure the water to mix with the crossfire? Also, what bed bug detector do you recommend and when moving into a new small apartment how do i treat the place spray the place to prevent bugs from spreading if they hitch a ride? The apartment has a bathroom, washer dryer, and stairs leading the upper rooms and small space under the steps for storage. I have harris GOLDEN label aerosal spray can and harris diatomaceous earth and harris YELLOW 1 gallon bottle. Also, what matress encasements do you suggest. Also, how do you recommend storing and transfer electronics in case bed bugs are inside them?
Thank you for this information. Before I found your videos I treated with Ortho Bedbug, Flea, and Tick killer. I now have Crossfire. Can I spray Crossfire two weeks after the Ortho treatment or do I need to wait longer?
What do you think of Crossfire aerosol can
Just found out that a friend I stayed at this weekend has bed bugs. I ordred some crossfire, to be safe. If I just sprayed the beds , bedframes and baseboards of everyone's rooms, should that be sufficient for peace of mind or should I target the couches and living room too? Also should I be steaming the mattress ahead of time or nah? Thanks for your help!
What about closets clothes electronics? I found tons of shedding in a plastic drawer
What if your bedroom is small and really crowded and stuff everyplace. Cluttered.
Should i have vaccumed , vaccumed b4 i spray? Use matt.encasements? Have an OLD BOX & MATT.
Can you spray a mem.foam Matt.topper ?
My daughter says i should get rid of my sofa & bed.
Continuing this. Is agarden sprayer good to use with Crossfire?
Hey so i have confirmed bed bugs and many pictures. But i cant seem to pinpoint the source. I checked pretty much everywhere possible in my room. I just bought crossfire the concentrate and the aerosol. What should i spray first with the concentrate?
How often do u treat?
I bought your class on Udemy, treated my mattress as you recommended, never got bitten there. But I have another issue, I work from home and sit on that ergonomic chair whole day. I am always being bitten on that chair, even I spray every corner of that chair… I threw it, and got a new ergonomic chair. It stopped two weeks, then bites started again😢😢😢 I’m so upset and don’t know what to do. I know ergonomic chair is hard, because there are so many holes, cracks, pockets, but I have hurt spine and I need to use that chair.
Hey would love some input for Canada.. any other products? tried a bunch of different websites can’t get crossfire here. Debating on going to drive to the states and getting it
If the house has no furniture, where would i spray?
If I live in an apartment complex and suspect my neighbor downstairs has bed bugs. Can I use cimexa in the wall outlets? Or just use crossfire in my apartment?
I still like to dust behind outlets and other service plates. My Bedbug K9 occasionally does find the bugs in outlets. Her daily training includes vents, outlets, etc in her scent gym in my basement. I pays in not having to go back.
@@GreenAkersPC Absolutely I do. And there's nothing wrong with the method. I'm just used to doing it and figure it can't hurt. Especially when she does find a few behind a cover. But then again, there's usually sign around the cover before she would find them also. Your premise is correct with this product. YOU are the bait. The attractant used to get them to cross product. Place the product near the bait. Great channel, btw!
They love that cloth under box spring and couch
Unfortunately crossfire is not available in Canada
I own a Pest Control company in Boston, I love your videos! I never used crossfire but I’m going to try it out now. I’ve had decent luck with suspend SC and exciter but those are repellents and the actual opposite, I’m going to try a non-repellent. I assume you have a sprayer dedicated to just crossfire so it doesn’t get contaminated with any repellents you have previously mixed for other jobs correct? Thanks man I love your channel.
Are you using crossfire now? We have a dog inspection later today and if we find something I'll be looking for a MA company. (We are hoping it's just fleas)
We have a professional exterminator coming in the morning. Is it harnful to use crossfire right after the treatment? if not, is there a benefit, or is it best to wait? I'm terrified to sleep back in the bed if the professional treatment doesn't work. 😢
Do you have to leave your house, with your dog, if you only treat your bed and can shut the door until things are dry?
I have done two treatments thus far using Crossfire. My first treatment was done on November 30, the second was on December 30. I have been sleeping with a mosquito protection suit and a face mask that only exposes my eyes and part of my nose. For some reason, Im still getting bit in my face, which has been terrible. I live in an apartment complex and I discovered a weird insect on my carpet in August. At the time, I didn't take a picture of it as I should have. I have never seen a bed bug before so I didn't think anything of the dead bug at that time. At the end of August, I noticed that my ankles were bitten up and I reported this to the rent office. They had someone to come out and inspect but the gentleman that came out told the office that my place was clean and found nothing.... After researching what could possibly be biting me, I'm sure the dead insect that I discarded in August was in fact a bed bug. I'm not sure what else to do at this point. My third treatment will be on January but I'm being discouraged.
I bought the aerosol can of crossfire. Does it work the same?
😮 Meant the bed bug me come more often the management is spending more attention.
I use the cross fire a month ago and I still see one or two bugs and I seen one on My living room furniture should I spray again
I had my first chemical treatment by an exterminator yesterday. I have a question, in the future maybe in a few weeks or so, can i still spray crossfire on my mattress which i have already wrapped in layers of plastic wrap and clear tape? Or do i have to remove all those layers before i spray the mattress with crossfire?
I would wait at least 2 weeks until treating on your own and remove all plastic before treating and don’t put it back
I used crossfire, mixed exactly according to manufacturer ratio and mixed it well. When I sprayed it just dripped down my metal bedframe. Is that normal? Is there something I can do to make sure it has completely covered the bedframe?
It’s normal for it to run some with a lot of the equipment you buy at Walmart and Lowe’s. The plastic sprayers aren’t really very good
Hello and thanks for all the information you provide :) I have a question I seem to find no answer on the internet. Let's suppose I have bed bugs on my suitcase but then I put it somewhere they cannot escape. From my understanding, bed bugs should be able to survive a few months without feeding. But what about the bed bug eggs ? If a bed bug hatches eggs and there's no food, will the eggs hatch anyway ? And if not, how long can they stay dormant before dying ?
Eggs hatch in 6-10 days. Nymphs can live up to 12 months without a blood meal and adults can also live up to a year without a blood meal.
What about wood walls, that's where we have seen them most, the spots of poop, or casings of them have been found in walls.
Had my couch thrown out. Got new one. The bed bug comes more often I sprinkle baking soda vacume and life has become good again.
Pest control expert only found them on a couch in our living room. Their treatment plan is to spray our entire house three times. Is that necessary, or can we just treat the living room?
I live alone in a 1 bedroom apartment. I do not drive, so I can't leave for a couple hours when I treat. Can I just close off the bedroom and not go in for several hours?
I normally recommend leaving the treated area so yes you can treat most of the apartment, go to a room where it isn’t treated and then go back once it’s dry
I just sprayed crossfire 5 days ago , and today saw 3 adults and eggs , should I be worried?
I live in an apt building the exterminator has been treating with spay, idk what brand, since june of 2023. They made it to my apt in feb 2024. They spray when there is a complaint of bed bugs in that apt and wait until they find them other places. They say they only come in on ppl or things. Because of my health the 4 yrs ive lived here, i only go see dr once and awhile, no one visits and i dont visit others. They blamed me for the infestation of entire building and that is impossible. I have eczema so these bites are really making me sick with my allergies to them and already having anemia. I didnt bring them in, and they say they dont go in through cracks, pluming pipes that arent sealed well or a lot of options. I live in a very old apt building. They told me they cant crawl through those places but my point was, the mice do and they are bigger.
I have to leave here. Healthwise i am getting very sick yet i dont want to toss my things, my bed i will i needed a new one anyway but i cant loose everything, im on assistance, fixed income. But i cant take them with me.
I have washed and dried items that can go in the washer and dryer and i left out 2 outfits, and 2 sets of sheets and every day i run them in the washer and dryer. I have put everything cloth in glad flex force and duct taped it shut.
They said not to do that, they said for me not to shower, they want me to be bait for the bed bugs. But im not listening. I dont have a mosquito suit but when i sleep i put on what i call my armor and everything is tucked in to something and i have my face totally covered, mouth, nose and eyes. It helps some but i need them gone, or me gone
Suggestions?
What about mushroom spores
Well Aprehend isn’t mushrooms so I guess they are just misinformed which I do deal with on this channel daily
Ugh I love living in Canada 🙄
You can get Crossfire shipped to Canada but have to use the link Jason provided in his community link. It cost me $135 for product and shipping, and additional $35 for it to clear customs. Still cheaper than hiring a professional.
What if you have a microfiber/leather couch.
Will it damage the leather?
In. This video I treat a leather couch. ua-cam.com/video/MakTrE4katc/v-deo.htmlsi=n1izOCvYLQ9S5XlN
You need to watch that video…it explains how to treat the couch and not damage it
