Disgusting and beyond ungrateful IMO. Had these wonderful people not taken him in and not treated him like a son he probably never even goes to college let alone a prestigious University like Ole Miss where he would get national recognition to be on NFL teams radars. Without that opportunity he never makes it into the NFL. When they took him in there was no guarantee he would be a great College player and make the NFL plus they were already very wealthy and didn’t need to exploit anyone It’s not line he was a star QB or RB or future NBA hall of famer he was an o lineman thst is now nationally known because of that movie
'' Lesson learned: stop helping and supporting... '' in case you end up having to deal with an ungrateful greedy POS that burned through 35 million dollars, that can't get or hold down a job and plays the black victim that couldn't handle his money and now goes after a wealthy family that treated him like a son. And now he's complaining that they didn't adopt him ?
Wonder if Michael hoped been an adopted 'child' so he could claim some rights after the family's franchises sale... he should know that help him with, home, food, studies and connections was more than enough... i would be forever thankful instead if i was him
OMG they better pay him, and be done with it before punitive damages get awarded. This couple has no legal documents for adoption, and the conservatorship sounds sketchy at best, with the same attorney who hands 🙌🏼 in the same pot! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This story proves that love isn’t enough. You can take the kid out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the kid. And it doesn’t matter if you’re black or white.
Fun fact: He was never homeless. He was living with his uncle when the Touys stepped in and claimed him to be homeless. 😂. The Touys are nothing but Grifters.
@@Anatomy894 True that Michael did live with his uncle and other family members periodically... but can you provide a source that validates what you're claiming that he was in fact living with his uncle at the time the Tuohy's took him and not homeless, because I don't believe that to be factual. Also, if he was living with his uncle, why would he decide to leave his biological family and move in with the Tuohy's?
@covertpuppytwo3857 PR for the Touys won't save them. All they had to do was pay him his Fair share. Afterall, he's the STORY. The Touys paid their Biological Kids except Micheal. The person the STORY is about. If you hadn't found any evidence about the Uncle then you're not looking hard enough.
The Tuohy treated Michael good and that's how Michael treats the Touhys if it wasn't for them he probably would have been a Crack head like his mom and never made it to the pros
If you were in the same position as him - you would be happy to have none of the money that was made from your name and story. You would be happy for everybody else in the 'family' to make money but you
So Michael met them when he was 17 and they are the reason he received scholarship offers from several colleges NOT his athletic ability... .Michael was NEVER headed to crack head status....he received scholarship offers from Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, and South Carolina, Why have they LIED in their books and foundation about Michael being adopted? Why did they really "help" him....🤔. I can't wait for more layers to be pulled back 💯
Nobody knew who the Tuohy's were before they met Michael. They got national notoriety, made business deals, got to be on the boards of different foundations because of their association with him. Despite what the movie protrayed, he was already an all American football player and could read and write.
Micheal was not homeless at the time as the Movie claims. He was living with his Uncle. They also portrayed him as a dumb and slow Kid who couldn't understand Football. Michael was ALREADY a top Football prospect in his position before the Touys came in the picture. in the first place, who brings in a 300 plus lb--over 6ft tall black man into their home around their children? An their friends and family had nothing to say?? Sounds a little suspicious.

I don't understand how a person can feel like a son in less than a year living with them. I wonder if Michael was a 5'6" 150lbs homeless Black kid, that had no athletic future, would the Tuohys have saved him.
How the hell they are going to make money on his story and pay their kids and not Michael? GTHOWTBS! That’s WRONG! Making money off of the man and they had more!
The Touhy's negotiated for themselves and their two biological children and didn't negotiate for Oher bc Oher didn't want them to. Oher sought out his own talent agent who negotiated for Oher but he conveniently omitted that in his court filling. Same thing with Oher choosing his own sports agent despite the Touhy's recommending a friend of theirs. Only after Oher's chosen sports agent failed him tremendously did Oher fire him and hired the Touhy's recommendation. And no, the Touhy's didn't get a penny from their friend being Oher's new sports agent.
