Angie, I’m a boomer and I remember growing up we would spend all day Saturday cleaning everything in our house. That was crazy. I love your timer for cleaning. I got into the idea I would only clean one room or one thing a day and continue to rotate as I would not spend all day or weekend cleaning the entire house.

The new Dyson has an on off switch, so no more trigger!!! Also the vacuum head with infra light is fantastic as you can see all the dirt I love it ❤

Another quick tip I have a huge white farmhouse sink and you know the ring that starts around the drain well when that happens I simply take like a half a cup of bleach and water fill the sink up partially and let it sit while you clean and I kid you not gleaming white sink 🤍

I had just taken a screenshot of your countertop for inspiration when you said how much you love it. They are beautiful! We just bought an older home and will renovate our kitchen at some point and this color/pattern is perfect for the look we want.
Coffee beans!!! If your fridge goes out again, cut off a piece of stocking and fill it with coffee beans. Tie the end and put in the fridge to keep it from getting musty. It works like a charm!! We do this with refrigerators, freezers, washing machine, ice chests, etc. when we move. It’s worked every time with our big cross country moves. Even when moving to and from Alaska where it took 6 weeks or so to get our belongings. In our recent move, I used knee highs so I wouldn’t have to save the step of cutting stockings.

At the end of this week on Friday I have the whole day set aside for decluttering. ❤I have a friend who just moved to town and she is coming over at about 1600 that day to "shop" my donate stuff before I take the rest to donations. It is extremely helpful for me to have the appointment with her to be accountable to actually use the day Friday as I intended❤❤❤

Yes, here in PR we deep clean our homes before the Christmas season. Literally hose down our windows/screens, wash curtains, dust. Then, put up our trees and lights, etc. starting November.
We clean inside and outside for Fall , it took us several weeks. We deep clean everything . We are done cleaning.
Moving on to decorate, so much to do !! We also decided to have Permanent Christmas Lighting on our home.
Where we can celebrate the Holidays and turn on the lighting anytime, we want . Example : turn on Pink or Red lights.
They stay on the home year round and you can't see the lights from the street .
We have a new refrigerator and I love it .

I love the Basin shop at the Grand Floridian. At this Basin location you can purchase smaller size soap samples. I also love their lip balms.
When we had stairs we had a basket that stayed on the first step and we put everything in it that needed to go upstairs and then before bed I would take it up and put everything away. Then in the morning I would take it back down. It saved my ADHD brain from getting distracted and it helped a lot with my back pain since I wasn't going up and down them a bunch of times.
I didn’t realize that Raglan Road had breakfast!! Definitely going to have to try it on my next trip. Also, if you haven’t tried Basins shampoo and conditioner bars, you definitely should. We stumbled upon them in July and I am obsessed. They’re so good!

You need one of those cup cleaner sink thingy that you just turn the cup upside down and press down, will cut down on a lot of time and water!!
I to have to have a clean and spotless house as well as decluttered/organized before I can even think about decorating!!! I think it makes it easier and faster to decorate rather than trying to work around mess and clutter that doesn’t belong.
