Found your channel by looking for a Mushihimesama 1cc guide. Once I finished that one I definitely watching this one! Hope you can keep uploading more videos like this because it's an amazing content! Thank you!
This is a helpful video! I just wanted to note some things as a noob who just 1cc'd Original Normal. 1. 6 lives are optimal for beating the final boss. You need 2 for the first part, 2 for the final pinch, and 2 as a margin of error. 2. Game has about 8 extra lives to give out, with 2 stock lives this means you can only die 4 times if want a good chance at the final boss. 3. Never die on stage 1 or 2, 1 death is okay on stages 3 and 4, 2 deaths are allowed on stage 5 (try not to die in areas 24/25) 4. Stages 1-3 are easy enough to not die on. If you can consistently 1cc the game from stage 4 with two starting lives then you should be ready to 1cc a full run. Survivorship bias from the 3rd point still applies here. 5. You can kill a lot of bosses and waves faster if you just focus on shooting as opposed to shielding. This is essential to killing the final bosses' pinch phase without dying as it'll die before things get too hectic and you're forced to shield. 6. For the stage 4 boss 22:54 is super risky since the bullets can easily pierce your shield. It's more easy to hang far back with straight shot and line yourself dead center with the weak point. The boss's fire will pretty much whiff 9 out of 10 times and goes down in under 5 seconds, you won't even hear the bullets scraping your ship. 7. You only play cautiously when you have something at stake. Use bad runs as a chance to experiment with dodging and playing more aggressively without shielding. 8. The purple line enemies are only there to distract you and waste your shield. Always use wide shot on them, if you feel confident you can just ignore them entirely by tap dodging with straight shot. 9. Focus on your ship instead of the whole screen when fighting bosses/mini bosses. This makes it way easier to see all the crap coming at you and you can use the angle of the bullets to sense out where the boss actually is. It sounds like a bad idea but boss bullets tend to be slower, just make sure to listen for oncoming laser cues. 10. Never try to absorb green lasers. You can still shield them to stall but they're the easiest bullet type to die from while shielding so learn to get comfortable with dodging them outright, it's way more fun to do this anyways. 11. Always shield when the game shoots at you from the background, especially during stage 3 and at 29:00
It was from this video that I learned how useful the shield in this game is in an offensive capacity! Fantastic video, still working on the 1cc clear but I'll get it eventually :)
This is an amazing video and it's really well made! Quick question, is the Witch item actually called the Wonder Witch? I've been wondering if it had any sort of official name for a while. By the way, at 11:10, you can actually simply stick to the left or right sides of the screen and the bullets won't hit you (probably, anyways. I've done it a lot but I'm not sure if it is completely consistent).

That item is apparently a reference to the WonderWitch dev kit that Qute made for the WonderSwan!
Thanks for the great guide!
