Hi there! I had been shooting with 50mm lenses on my film slrs for almost 2 years and am very comfortable with that focal length. The 35mm on apsc gives me that 50mm field of view. I also had a 16-55 f2.8 zoom and just wanted something a lot smaller, lighter and faster aperture for when i don’t need the whole zoom range. When i got my leica m6 i used a 35mm on full frame as i think it’s a better focal length for daily documentation, however, i adapted that 35mm lens onto my XT-4 as i’m still a big fan of the 50mm field of view. The Artisans lens cost me under 50€ because i found a good deal, it’s got a nice character and is sharp enough for me! hope that helps!
Bruder keep em coming
Edit kommt sehr entspannt rüber

Hello Samuel, love the video. What influenced your decision to purchase the Artisan 35mm F1.4?
