We are looking at the start-up sequence, taxiing and take-off from runway 24 at Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS / EHAM). The flight was eventually heading to Campinas, Brazil. Take of weight was close to the maximum structural take-off weight MTOW of 412,000kg. The first officer is the pilot flying. All ATC and cockpit audio is also included.
Thank you for watching.

I liked to see the FO drinking the coffee, even before taxiing out. Lol.
-Happy to see that you hand fly the plane and do not immediatly turn AP on after Takeoff. Skills.
zaak747 RNAV departures require the most presicion level so that is why is common to see pilots engage the autopilot just after takeoff.
Welcome back captain with another great vid
These four engines did their job very well! Congrats for one more awesome video!
Hello cpt! I'm glad to see your videos again!> Keep 'em coming :)
Awesome this pilot does his job excellent he is a very cool person who knows what he is about to. Respect my friend.👍
Long time lover of the elegant 747, I adore this1
Especially in KLM delivery.
Belíssima decolagem!
747 é fantástico!!!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY ANOTHER ONE!!. THANKS CAPTAIN
Love the engine startup hum.
Some pilots checks the controls so fast, but this pilot did it so good.
Flights to Campinas by KLM Cargo are comming over our house from time to time on sunday evening climbing out of EHAM you can hear the special sound of the 747 engines. Great video !
Good take off. Video kind of snowy but viewable.
It’s an amazing machine as well as the amazing piglets that fly them amazing combination
piglets ? lol....when pigs fly hahahahah ...agree tho, amazing machine and amazing skills
Poprostu bajkowo,tyle swiatelek i guziczków w cokpicie,jaj oni to wszystko ogarniają,przepieknie jest nocą też 👍👍👍PODZIWIAM I POZDRAWIAM💕
Cool plane 👏👍
Mooie video weer! Woon in de buurt van Rotterdam, deze vlucht is altijd duidelijk te horen, hoef niet op Flightradar te kijken om te zien dat het de Martinair naar Campinas is ;) Staat er al een opvolger voor de 747-400F in de planning?
Super bro 👍🏻👌🏻
Show!!
an 11 hour flight, imagine being stuck in your car having to drive for 11 hours, ultimate respect to these guys
Zie ik nou een toestel van DHL staan? Toen ik nog voor ze werkte was hun hub in Brussel.
Question, during take off climb, when trimming the stab, are they trying to get it to where they're climbing but on the yoke having it be neutral position so it doesn't have to be pulled back?
GNX157 yes, that is the goal
This evening 11-11-2019 at 10:20PM a B747-406F , registration PH-CKC with the Callsigne MP6911 to Campinas flew over our house again , I beleve dct WOODY at FL100 .
When doing the flight control check, how comes they didn't switch their screen to the one showing the flight controls and elevators?
747 doesnt have a screen that shows movement like the 787.
Who is the camera person on these flights? You can tell there’s a third person in the cockpit by the way the camera is handled. Of course, I’m jealous that this unknown person gets to be in the jump seat on a 747 and see all this super cool stuff happening. Must be a beautiful experience...!
Thank you for the kind reply!
Take off flaps? 20 ?
what was the registration of this 747 ? :)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
Hello. What was the date of this flight? 15 OCT? I would like to recreate your flight in FSX.
I should have said thanks for the great video by the way!
Hope it wasn't stall those vibrations at 6:43
Why is the throttle a two-step process when taking off?
same here. I always wondered that too. I think the first step is too make the sure the engines are all stable. Just my take.
@@tonyb374 Your guess is correct
Advance throttle to 30%, stabilize engines, apply take-off thrust.
@@09beegee Thanks Bill. What would happen if it was full advanced and not stabilized? Would it be noticed? Alerted? Ever happen?
@nightstalker If I remember correctly, the n1 value is the lp stage of the turbine engine, so I would assume that spool up sets that limit and allows the other sections to accelerate up to their epr values. I don't have a turbine endorsement. I was a Lycoming mechanic, crew engineer in the US Army. crewing a Bell uh1-d model., so, that's the extent of my hands on experience.
:D
6:44 stall???
No
How the Hell Do they Know what all those Buttons Do?? Come on man is that for real? What can all those buttons possibly do and how could anyone know and remember what they all do? Imposdible! ☠️🚬🚬
The Rolls Royce RB-211's are weak engines compared to the GE CF6's on this 747 and the Pratt and Whitney PW4000 series
However they were the most powerful on the 757.
@@Nando_Florist Indeed, weirdly enough...
@Joe Bien Yep...You heard that right, comparatively speaking.
The GE CF6 and PW4000 are very weak against a GE90 ;D
@Joe Bien You're right, all three overlap if you disregard the few thousands. Maximum thrust rating of the GE 90-115 at sea level 127 900 lbf. But the newer GE9X came in with a whopping 134 000 lbf.
I’m glad the title said this was at night cause I would never have guessed it was at night time. I thought it was during the day in bright sunshine. Thank goodness for the helpful title 😀👍🙄😂
Поздно шасси убрал
классно ребята охуеть!!!!!!!!!!!
The FO drinking coffee during taxying, very professional....
