I like how you always explain to us the measurements, laws and regulations of fishing in Alabama. Keep up the good work we need more responsible fishermen like you. Stay humble my friend blessing.
I met your mom coming out of a store the other day she is as sweet as can be just like you come across in all your videos I told her how much my husband & I enjoy ALL your posts especially the catch n cook 👨🍳 don’t need to change anything-keep up the great fishing 🎣 & videos we are impatiently waiting for the tshirts & hats 😊
I love every video you drop, but man I REALLY LOVE the Catch, Clean, Cooks. I don't care if I gotta see you clean the same fish 10000 times. It'll never get old
Thank you. It's an amazing, diverse ecosystem and I love to respect it as much as we can so we can continue to fish and future generations will still be able to enjoy it !
By now,, I've probably watched ALL of your videos at least 3 or 4 times each & It still never gets old..I only wish that i could say the same for myself.🐟 🤪
The bobber comment is so true know matter how old you are I can remember being 6 years old and being crazy when the bobber went under and now at 55 I have the same feeling it’s never gone away and that’s the love of the sport that never dies
Like I say, I've never been fishing in my life, but Steven is so personable, and presents the material so well, it's simply compelling viewing. I've got the whole family hooked now, and that's about as close to a _hook_ any of us have ever been! 🤣 Keep up the great work mate. God bless. 👍
You make me wanna move down south. The gulf looks like such a cool place to fish. And I'd take Alabama's weather over these sub 40° temps we're having up here in Michigan any day
Thank you for giving me some tips about southern fishing and I caught my first sheepshead with shrimp. Thanks and I love your vids and the best and helpful youtuber ever 🎉
@@bradensalcetti2 Oh yeah! Fish still have to eat even if the conditions aren't perfect. Low tide means less water to fish so the fish will be in the "deeper holes" around points and flats. Just look for any bait action, birds, or drop offs
Haven't been able to go saltwater fishing since the beginning of the month since the weather on the the day I'm able to go hasnt been very good so been having to watch all my favorite youtubers go out to keep me busy. But I've been able to fish a local park pond for some bass before work on Fridays lately.
Sheepies are great eating. Can't believe how many I threw back as a kid before I knew that! LOL On another note, conservation is the key to keeping our fisheries healthy. I love that you practice that and spread the word!
I so enjoy watching you fish. Your joy is contagious. I'm in the (still) frigid north with nothing but small lakes and rivers in the area. Can't wait for some warmer weather and free time to get out and get my lines wet! Hope to do some saltwater fishing someday.
Hey Stephen, I would like to see more videos of you fishing for sheepshead with a bobber ..me and some friends has always talked about fishing that way for sheepshead, but never have but We love your content .
Me and my little man watch you everyday. He's 6 yrs old and is fascinated with you, we was in orange beach last week. Came down from Gatlinburg TN we didn't have any luck fishing. He said if he'd been with you he'd had fun 😂
You are my favorite UA-camr you made me feel like fishing, so I tried it out for my first time. I’m mad pier now it’s OK then first time away I was just like your videos. Many turtles the stuff. Thank you for your videos.😊
Every fisherman needs to practice catch & release unless you 100% know that fish won’t be wasted. Our fisheries have so much pressure on them currently with the explosive popularity of fishing. Not to mention the decades of reckless practices all of us older fishermen know all to well. I’m no tree hugging hippie, I just want to catch fish for as long as I can and future generations do the same. ✌️🖕🏻
We are inland, alot of the lakes and reservoirs were either artificially stocked or just stocked as an adjunct to the natural population. It's been a pleasure teaching my kiddos exactly that, big Ole fat egg laden females go back in. Same with hunting. They are excited to go out deer or elk hunting, explaining If we didn't draw a tag that year means the exact amount of deer or elk tags they studied and thought should be Harvested had already been given out. And we'd try next year. (Also I was kinda slow to the jump on em😅)
My sister lives over in Milton FL. I wanted to get down there this winter to do some fishing. Never been. Didnt make it Illinois winters suck. Appreciate all your videos. Keep'em coming.

Woah! Never been this early to one of your videos before. Love the videos you've been putting out. I like the information you put out because it helps with my own fishing adventures. Sweet fish you've caught!
Glad I found your channel. heading your way for Easter vacation in April, You sure helped in my tackle prep. and some recon.... Hopefully the shops will have live shrimp . Staying on the Old River so I will keep my eye out for you cruising by... Tight Lines......
Glad you're here! Should be good fishing and hope the weather stays good for ya! They'll still eat some fresh dead shrimp and also Spanish Mackerel should be biting. I love throwing white jigs and silver spoons for them.
Love your channel. Watch a lot of fishing on UA-cam but you hold my #1 spot. I usually watch for fun but loved your slip bobber set up. I fish jetties typically with your set up you used earlier, but sometimes I like to get a bait close to the rocks and that requires the bait suspended to keep your “junk” out of the rocks. I fish in south padre but am going to get my boat to your waters sometime. Thanks again for the GREAT content.
Love your content I enjoy the offshoot stuff a lot. Being I am new to orange beach I would say it would be helpful if you could say what time of year your fishing like “early March” etc it would help me learn what species I can fish for what months. I realize I can do the math on UA-cam but it’s just a guess. As an alternative , you can just go fishing with me 😊 keep up the good work and I hope to see you around
my son and my husband went out today for quick 4 hour trip didn't catch much but was till glad to be on the water they had a strong south wind that kept their pilot trolling motor from staying in spot lock
Awesome as always miss the guys shores we hope to return later this year to bad you don't charter that would be awesome who would you recommend for that stay you love how you explain everything stay safe
Loved the vid bro and release of the breeders. Looks like the sheepies are stacked up like crappie. Sure miss the pier. Hope they can begin construction soon 👍🏻🤙🏻

Big corporations poaching is what has hurt the populations not your weekend warriors.
In NC every Trout , Redfish and Flounder released by a recreational fisherman will likely end up in a gill net.
