And only last night, during my first replay of Fallout New Vegas in many years, I did the quest where you re-animate a sexbot that had been kept in storage at a factory in Freeside, so it could get a job at the Golden Wrangler. The robot's name was Fisto. I don't know why your comment made me think of these two separate, and unrelated, events.
I mean Yeah. Same argument could apply to the assaultron since the sentry bot exists which is much more powerful with its batch of missiles minigun and tank like armor. It's the robot version of power armor
Just a tiny correction, Sequoia is pronounced Seh-koy-uh 😅 but whoever commented about that gun makes me happy because the ranger sequoia was always my favorite handgun in NV. Any handgun that can drop a deathclaw in 2-3 shots is S-tier in my book.

Whilst the highwayman is the only drivable fallout car in fallout, you can drive the Chryslus Rocket 69 in Forza Motorsport 6, making it my favourite nuclear powered machine

I will die on this hill but the chosen one will wipe the floor with literally any other protagonist. There is a really good video about exactly that from mitten squad I think and he list a few good points. The chosen one is so unbelieveable powerful. I think even the Lone Wanderer having access to Mothership Zeta is just not strong enough. I mean taking MZ from the Lone Wanderer just sounds like a Fo2 sidequest.
Making a note here, about favourite glitches. I love being able to clip through the wall and grab the quantum armor without having to get all the star cores. (There's a couple youtubes on that, you will require a power armor frame that you dont mind losing to get it) I also love clipping through the wall of the ncrc prison so I don't have to fight my way through the main room. I can just use the sit command at the port o pots, warp through the chain fence, and then high tail it up a watch tower to even out my odds. Then there's unexpected glitches like, if you start to move through the game carrying everything... Everything you find... At about 10-20,000lbs of junk in your pockets, npcs heads start to disappear 🤣🤣🤣
I know that I missed it but my favorite item to collect is Wonderglue and adhesives. Now when I go back to F3 and NV I instinctively pick them up and later realize that they’re useless lol
Still my favorite weapon to use across the whole franchise is the YCS/186 Gauss rifle, just looks cool yet not over done like some of the other unique variants
The worst companion was sticky (think that was his name) the kid you had to take to big town from little lamplight though he was kinda made to be a bit annoying
I genuinely want to see a future game take place in New Orleans or somewhere nearby. It would make sense logically for that area to be nuked heavily since the Mississippi River is such a major shipping river. And then it would also allow for some interesting supernatural shenanigans. Theres plenty of voodoo and other urban myths and legends to pull from.
I would assume nothing would happen to them just because the process has fully taken effect it wouldn’t turn them back human. I’m sure it would remove the remaining Rads they had though

@@darcyspike5490 Virgil's case is likely special. He hasn't been a super mutant for more than a week. While some changes likely did happen. It's likely none had been made permanent quite yet. That serum was derived from his human DNA. He used the FEV to mutate his body to what it used to be. Realistically he solved the FEV problem, made it work the way noone else was ever able to achieve. And he only used it to help himself

@@HelheimMudkip Those are just my go to places for a homebase in each game. Lonewolf and one of the Grayditch houses have safe storage, so I like to use them. Sunshine Tidings has the extra meat magazine, so I use the medical cabin as my base. It's like the one campsite in the SE of Oblivion, with the 8 safe storage sacks.
The thing that always keeps me back is the freaky creatures and bio horrors they do so well I have to say my nv game currently displays black textures in every interior cell I enter as well as every npc having a pale white face despite their arms and body color until there's more than 5 and their heads turn into transparent red ! Marks until my game freezes and says "out of memory". Gotta be my favorite line from the cult classic hit new vegas.
@@The_Swedish_Knight Fallout 4 has mods to add ammo types but they do not work realistically, the mods add them into the weapon workbench system like they were a barrel change. It is really unfortunate.

My play style is typically energy weapons of any kind or a typical assault rifle and a sidearm pistol or a rifle and revolver typically for a cowboy type play style. I also am intrigued by the question of what would happen if the courier wasn’t involved in the second battle of Hoover dam or what would happen if any of the protagonists didn’t get involved. I personally think if the courier remained dead in good springs or died during doc Mitchell’s attempts to save their life I believe the the NCR would take the day but there’s so much to consider if the courier died or just wasn’t as important in the Mojave.
speaking of companions, my first fallout game was 4. i get strong as a companion. as im sneaking along to avoid a huge group of raiders (im still low level) strong just Leroy Jenkins his way in there screaming " ill wear your guts as a loincloth" and proceeds to get us murdered. immediately switched to no companion and never used him again 😂
One of my favorite places in all the games was the "New Vagas Medical Center" the whole concept was imersive. I dislike being able to decide to have a critical shot, I think it should happen randomly.

I’m not going to lie. The Sole Survivor is the most broken protagonist in all of the fallout games. They have no level cap, they get access to power armor within the first hour of the game. You can literally become the leader of almost every faction in the game. Also Deathclaws and Behemoth’s become just cannon fodder after a while. I think something is off when 10 hours into my first play through, I had 3 nuke launchers and 30 mini nukes in my inventory
To the question at 2:40 of why New Vegas guns look so nice, it's because somebody working on that game had a serious passion for firearms. Maybe someone who knows their dev lore could tell you who, but it's obvious from all the little details they put in that only gun nerds would care about. Stuff like .22 being the only cartridge to not give you primers when you break it down, because it's a rimfire cartridge and therefore doesn't fire with a primer like modern center-fire rounds do. Or the fact that .45-70 is in the game at all, cause I literally can't think of a single other game that gives that cartridge any representation. (Not counting Fallout 4, because a later game in the same series is kinda cheating.)
Q: What shouldn't return to Fallout? Something in me just wants to say "Todd Howard", but I don't think he really is personally responsible for the mistakes in Bethasda over the past years... Although, "Nuka Dark" and "Power Armor Helmet" really shouldn't return.
Do you think Marvel type mutations could exist within the Fallout universe? The franchise has psykers, super mutants, mysticism and mutated creatures already. As well as FEV, gamma radiation, nuclear radiation, synthetic humanoids, aliens, robots, clones, power suits, the forgotten about plague and the forgotten, adapted to survive Slags. I think it's primed for a human kind evolution of mutants with powers or mutates. Even Apocalypse from X-Men type vibes with the whole "ancient cities" thing and Ug Qualgoth. Not to mention all these vault experiments and corporate experimentation.
So I had a stupid idea pop into my head. Fallout 4 is the only game in the franchise where if you told someone there's a flying ship crewed by metal men, whose leader uses a rotary gun, whose most dangerous robot is larger than anyone else on the ship, whose base is on the eastern waterfront of the Commonwealth, whose greatest enemy prizes technology for themselves, and whose leader and officers send you on various fetch quests to help with a repair quest so their faction can mobilize... You would still need to ask "Okay, but are they in the Commonwealth before you become a cereal killer?"

Unpopular opinion: I like the fallout 4 assault rifle. It’s big, bulky and looks like what people in the 50’s would think weapons in the future would look like. The assault rifle in fo3 is just an FAL.
the fallout 3's assault rifle is the R91(?). Closely resembles the real world G3. Or. Fn fal. But the spread what just horrible lol. Needless to say, the hunting rifle is a classic and always in my inventory... Other than that plasma or Lazer rifle.. not so much "apocalyptic" as the hunting rifle. But fits perfectly in the futuristic world of the fallout universe

Don't you use the glue to make weapon repair kits in NV?

On my current new Vegas play through I decided to use the abandoned BOS bunker I managed to get over 1500 stimpaks using the vending machine there

My play style is typically energy weapons of any kind or a typical assault rifle and a sidearm pistol or a rifle and revolver typically for a cowboy type play style. I also am intrigued by the question of what would happen if the courier wasn’t involved in the second battle of Hoover dam or what would happen if any of the protagonists didn’t get involved. I personally think if the courier remained dead in good springs or died during doc Mitchell’s attempts to save their life I believe the the NCR would take the day but there’s so much to consider if the courier died or just wasn’t as important in the Mojave.

speaking of companions, my first fallout game was 4. i get strong as a companion. as im sneaking along to avoid a huge group of raiders (im still low level) strong just Leroy Jenkins his way in there screaming " ill wear your guts as a loincloth" and proceeds to get us murdered. immediately switched to no companion and never used him again 😂
One of my favorite places in all the games was the "New Vagas Medical Center" the whole concept was imersive. I dislike being able to decide to have a critical shot, I think it should happen randomly.

I’m not going to lie. The Sole Survivor is the most broken protagonist in all of the fallout games. They have no level cap, they get access to power armor within the first hour of the game. You can literally become the leader of almost every faction in the game. Also Deathclaws and Behemoth’s become just cannon fodder after a while. I think something is off when 10 hours into my first play through, I had 3 nuke launchers and 30 mini nukes in my inventory

To the question at 2:40 of why New Vegas guns look so nice, it's because somebody working on that game had a serious passion for firearms. Maybe someone who knows their dev lore could tell you who, but it's obvious from all the little details they put in that only gun nerds would care about.
Stuff like .22 being the only cartridge to not give you primers when you break it down, because it's a rimfire cartridge and therefore doesn't fire with a primer like modern center-fire rounds do. Or the fact that .45-70 is in the game at all, cause I literally can't think of a single other game that gives that cartridge any representation. (Not counting Fallout 4, because a later game in the same series is kinda cheating.)
Q: What shouldn't return to Fallout?
Something in me just wants to say "Todd Howard", but I don't think he really is personally responsible for the mistakes in Bethasda over the past years...
Although, "Nuka Dark" and "Power Armor Helmet" really shouldn't return.
Do you think Marvel type mutations could exist within the Fallout universe? The franchise has psykers, super mutants, mysticism and mutated creatures already.
As well as FEV, gamma radiation, nuclear radiation, synthetic humanoids, aliens, robots, clones, power suits, the forgotten about plague and the forgotten, adapted to survive Slags. I think it's primed for a human kind evolution of mutants with powers or mutates. Even Apocalypse from X-Men type vibes with the whole "ancient cities" thing and Ug Qualgoth. Not to mention all these vault experiments and corporate experimentation.
I keep playing it, because I have not finished even once per playthrough 😅

So I had a stupid idea pop into my head.
Fallout 4 is the only game in the franchise where if you told someone there's a flying ship crewed by metal men, whose leader uses a rotary gun, whose most dangerous robot is larger than anyone else on the ship, whose base is on the eastern waterfront of the Commonwealth, whose greatest enemy prizes technology for themselves, and whose leader and officers send you on various fetch quests to help with a repair quest so their faction can mobilize...
You would still need to ask "Okay, but are they in the Commonwealth before you become a cereal killer?"
Also, Pickman should be a recruitable companion. Take him with you to fight Kellogg so the serial killer can help you become a cereal killer!

Unpopular opinion: I like the fallout 4 assault rifle. It’s big, bulky and looks like what people in the 50’s would think weapons in the future would look like. The assault rifle in fo3 is just an FAL.
the fallout 3's assault rifle is the R91(?). Closely resembles the real world G3. Or. Fn fal. But the spread what just horrible lol. Needless to say, the hunting rifle is a classic and always in my inventory... Other than that plasma or Lazer rifle.. not so much "apocalyptic" as the hunting rifle. But fits perfectly in the futuristic world of the fallout universe
