A6000 + Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 is my setup, I barely use any other lenses, it works amazing. Looking for the A6100 or the A6400 for the 180° touch screen, tho.
My fiance got the A6000 for free with the kit lens. And I have been using it. I decided to buy the SONY E 55-218mm F 4.5-6.3. as I progress in my photography I may go for that sigma lens u speak of!
The size of this camera made me fall in love with it and I bought in a scratchless condition barely used 4k shutters in the same silver body black kit lens combo
I bought this brand new in 2016 mine is in excellent condition i bearly used it. Was just looing at getting back into photography and finding it still holds up, will be buying a new sony nice to see this one can be my backup
A fantastic camera that helped me learn how to create film and filmed content. The limitations have been that I myself had no knowledge and the camera's sound recording.
I have a Sony A6000 but my biggest complaint is my iPhone 8 (not even the latest) takes sharper pictures than this camera. Am I doing something wrong? they look cloudy by comparison. Have the latest one become sharper?
I bought my a 6000 in 2015 at a Best Buy store. I was in the camera department looking buying at a new camera and spotted the A6000. As I was looking at it, a gentleman came in with his high school age daughter. She was apparently going to be taking a photography class in school. When she started looking at the A6000, her father told her that if she bought a Sony camera, all the other kids would laugh at her because Sony isn't a "real" Camera company... It has been my main camera with various lenses since then (including adapted canon FD lenses from the 70's). It's a pretty tough camera, based on all the times I've dropped the poor thing.
My question is I got an upgraded lense with my A600, has the lense dated or could I keep the lense and upgrade camera only and if camera only what’s good on a comparable better level
I am a a6000 user - but do like the touch screen on my heavier Canon 80D... I hear a British accent - but he talks in dollars. Are the dollars Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Fijian or Bermudian?
My first real digital camera. Today a great little camera with a pancake lens to take around where you don't have to worry about it getting banged up a little.
@@MartinGarcia-mv9qz At a local online store which sold it as defective return. Because the usb-b mini port was defective returns. But it works well if I charge the battery in a external charger and use a SD card reader in the computer. Once a quarter such deal pop up. If one looks for them.
10 years of the a6000! 📸 Anyone else still using it? 🖐
I'm still using my a5100, a stripped-down a6000 with slightly better video, a selfie tilt screen, and touchscreen focusing.
I still use mine. It was a great value.
Sure thing, it's a legend!

For photography? Unquestionably, yes.
For videos?
@@yaatharthk907 For the same $$ you shoot 4K with an old Panasonic MFT camera. The A6000 can do video that's acceptable, though it might overheat.

I just picked one up for $250 ,should be here this weekend. Wish it had a microphone input.

Would this be a good camera for vacation photos? I’m looking for something better than a phone but don’t want to haul my A7IV around with me.
The reputation of this camera is legendary.

great video, no nonsense very clear and to the point.
What’s the website at 1:14?

I still use mine! upgraded to the A7RiVa 2 years ago but A6000 is still great!!
am thinking about this or the rx100va, wondering if they use the same AF system.

im getting one as a side piece for my a7iv - 2024
Keep the a6000. Spend the money on lenses.
It’s still a great camera. Image quality hasn’t progressed significantly in all those years.
Just got the Viltrox 23mm 1.4 for my A6000
I got mine earlier this year try the sigma prime trio it is a magical combination

I believe he's talking in US dollars.

Is that an Ibanez art wood in your background?
this is an evergreen video
The a6000 sensor was updated when a6300 came out…
Even NEX-6 is really good.
A lot of these older cameras still hold up really well!
I remember when that came out. Looked so small with pancake legs, compared to the DSLRs, looked like the start of the mirrorless era
Yes I still use mine, random I love the flash
Got mine for 110$, unbeatable for the price. Accompany my Z30, for harsh environment
What place u buy it?
