@@ikr233 Also unlike what some jackass mod at Villains said, Victor is the real kingpin who caused the problems. Iosef was part of it, and he was the most vocal, but Victor got a more brutal death. Victor was the biggest Allied Nordicist Yankee "Friends"-watching "Seinfeld"-hating shitstain of all of them. "Scumbag"-saying sadistic Russian punk wanted the car and probably had a grudge against John from the get. He's the one who killed the dog, mind you. Iosef only ordered him to shut it up, but I don't think he was a murdering type to that decree. That was Victor who did that. Viggo is an asshole too.
But my opinion on him has shifted somewhat. He's not really one-dimensionally bad the way Victor is. Victor you just want dead.

This scene is great. Viggo already started to mourn his sons death before he was even killed by John Wick and already knew his son was dead when he said “make the arrangements”.
The "arrangements" are actually him setting up more assassins to kill John instead of just forgetting revenge and carry on with life, then again he's fucked either way cuz John already burned all of his assets at the vault so there's no more living after that. But is that really worth being dead instead of starting over and being alive? It's his idiot son's fault anyway.

What I love is John killed everyone around him first. At the club I’m pretty sure he took every chance NOT to kill him, but made him fear for his life and killed everyone around him mercilessly. Iosef was the main target in John Wick (2014), but two people were with Iosef when he broke into John's house. There were three targets. They were Iosef, Victor and Gregori. John killed Victor in the restroom at the Red Circle, and Gregori was the guy playing the video game before he got sniped by John. After that, John went for Iosef. John killed all three people responsible for his dog's death and his car's theft.
You may beat him up, steal his car, but if you kill his beloved dog, no one can save you.

Oh this aged so well. Actually, that is the legend of John. If you piss him off for any reason and he decided that he wants your life, he will take it. He will cross any desert or ocean, he will take on an entire army. He will dogde through a rain of bullets. You can stab him, cut him, strangle him, throw him 5 stories high, and run him over. But if he is somehow still alive, he will keep coming for you. The walls of the continent will not protect you, nor the rules of the table will save you. He will kill you regardless of who you are.
I love how the terror of being at the end of John Wick's sights slowly ate away at Iosef over the course of the movie. He didn't believe the danger at first, then tried to overcompensate and front at the club only to be a stressed out, twitchy and sleep-deprived wreck by the end. And then he died.
The thing I like about this film is they followed his character to the end. No drawn out 20 minute combat scene like most other films. One in the stomach, one in the head, home time. Job done.

I love how simple of an event they made this look like. It is a beautiful representation of " John Wick is back, and he is more furious than he ever was!" . It was easy for John, did not even bother to have a conversation with the guy. Just did what he came to do and then left. Just a cool and explosive scene.

When I saw this in theaters, the audience jumped up in applause when John Wick finally killed Iosef.
God I love this scene. The determination in John's eyes, the boss-walk at 02:05. The way John looked at Iosef's body when the job was done. He knew from the moment he heard him killing his dog that Iosef would die, and nothing would stop that. He did what he planned and just walked away. Chilling.
This scene is the definition of the saying "revenge is a dish best served cold".
