So by juggling with the B1 b2 (or else) and stuff, one could let play a Static sound (radio) in Loop with VLC player, and apply it under the voice PTT communications in discord? With an average PC this should not have issues. The problem is Games could crash especially discord which is not the most stable thing in the world, could just crash\conflict I think having: Vlc\discord\Voice Meeter and the game softwares all playing audio inputs or outputs... There must be a simple wawy to make a cracking sound\ flat Military radio (not police) effect to play in a more immersive environment co-op mil sim games. There must be I am trying to understand from the outside, despite I know I should download and start fiddling with settings, however the result is always relative as said above. not all pc could accept it and ensure compatibility, so the simpler, the best it is. Probably the trick at 12:27 is the way to do it: Trigger pressing the PTT (which will be kept pressed) an audio file and in the mean while transmit the message (2-3 seconds) the problem is that the audio will keep on playing and possibly be disrupting the game... Maybe the best way is just fiddling with the bitrate of windows without even using voice meter and creating a low bit rate and amplify the audio just as a sort of default and easy edit, or even on discord lowering quality: it will allow to have a sort of radioish effect... maybe this is the best way.
Hey, do you know why with my fifine mic on the voice metter it sounds good and also sounds good on like everything I don’t use but the one app I use everyday is discord. Which is the only app that mg mic doesn’t sound good as it sounded on the voice metter and all the other apps I tried it on.
Turn off basically everything in discord for noise reduction noise gain etc, and the test your audio thing sounds like mobile always so it's not accurate.
In the discord voice and video setting section you will see the "automatically determine input sensitivity" setting. Disable that setting and a yellow and green bar will be shown. The yellow part is the muted part of the audio and the green one is the part your friends hear. adjust it so when you press on your keyboard the audio picked up from it stays in the yellow part and when you talk to your friends your voice should be in the green part. Hope this helped you even if your comment was 2 months ago
