I loved The London Programme. Never to be forgotten episode was about Pit Bulls etc. the debate went back and forth and right at the end of the programme they showed a clip of when the cameraman was just running the camera as a check and you could see the crew standing around. One of which was a perfectly stationary sound man....the dog was sniffing around then "Boof" he grabbed the sound mans crotch and held on for dear life.
Times were different. If you listen carefully these threats and Bomb hoaxes were practically daily. There were codes the IRA used and if it was anonymous i dont think the threat was taken as seriously.
Ya missed all the fun. Tuesday was stuck on a train for hours. West to North. Effective tactic. The Met were first class though; "Looked in bin squire, only litter...." he was lucky.
