I love Bradley mountain and frost river from Duluth Minnesota!! Frost River takes a beating!! I've been taking my Frost River bag offshore since 2017 and its been worth every penny
I love all the bags on here but I do think the Bradley Mountain bag is an absolute gem of a buy. Love that they're all Bags made in the USA but the Bradley Mountain just looks like a family heirloom style of bag. Maybe one day I can afford it!
Bags made in the USA . I do love a strong duffel bag. Glad you made this video, I was seriously in the fence about the heat straps. Might be on my Xmas list now :)
For international travel and the risk of pick-pocketing/theft, the omission of exterior pockets on the Filson is a positive. As well as the storm flap.
I fell in love with Filson's heritage wear and the classic designs they have and other manufacturers. For bags made in the USA and other gear they're amazing but still too far out of my price range. I'll go back to dreaming about a Mackinaw wool coat 😂
Okay had to google Mackinaw wool coat. And now I'm dreaming about one too! Even though I live in the sweltering heat of south India I still want one!! 😂
I have 3 Filson bags, a bunch of Mulholland Bros, Will Leather Goods, etc... Too many duffle bags of all types of materials to count but if I have to buy another canvas duffle bag now, i would buy the Cravar CO Travel duffle in canvas/leather. Good looks, organization, full leather bottom, veg tanned leather. All for $360 delivered. For the price of the Filson you can get the all leather version. Filson bags have become so expensive. I can't believe my 2006 Medium Field Bag is now $595.
The Heatstraps bag is everything you'd expect, and more. That horween leather was understated, it is phenomenal. This bag is outstanding. Heatstraps is stealing the show
I think you should make another video of bags made in the USA , this time leather ones. If I didn’t already own the Filson I think I’d go with the Pioneer. Love all the pockets
Bags made in the USA .Truely somthing special about a bag that tells everyone that you value quality, and supporting brands that really know there place in a world of consumerism and crappy products. Nice to see brands sticking to their roots.
Any time I'm feeling home sick your channel is a sure cure. In an awesome way you highlight the nutmeg spirit. Keep repping that 203! Unless you are more of an 860 kinda guy! Takes all sorts. Born in Bridgeport now I live in Brittany France. This guy was made in the USA like the " bags made in the USA" Thanks for keeping the great videos coming! Will
Bags made in the USA Great review! I traveled for the first time with a four wheeled suitcase and I gotta say don’t think I can go back. 😂 but these bags are definitely way cooler and better looking than a hard shell carry on.
Bags made in the USA My go to duffle bag for the longest time was my Dads old canvas parachute bag. That thing took a beating. Now it serves as a tent and tarps bag.
I love Bradley Mountain, I have a few backpacks and totes from them. For Bags made in the USA, BM is a very good choice. Now, I own a few Filson bags and backpacks as well, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about it. Filson materials are indestructible; if you can afford it, I think everyone should experience Filson.
I have some travel bags amongst a lot of other items from company called Frost River. Their bags are made in the USA in Duluth Minnesota. They are worth checking out and I really enjoy their products.
I own about 10 or more Filson bags, including the medium duffel in the vid, in otter. Great bag. Well made and feels top notch. My issue is that Filson jacked the price up substantially about 2yrs ago. Used to cost $395. Its now $595. Way too much.
Bags made in the USA. I have a Filson that I got from my in-laws. I had the chance to claim a garment bag and a second duffle but I was an ignorant fool and turned them down. That said, the Filson I kept has been my go-to travel bag for work and vacations and it’s been phenomenal. Knowing there are top notch competitors is great because eventually this bag will bite the dust. It is of the older design with the two shoulder strap d-rings on the same side. That’s the only thing about it that I don’t care for.
If you’re looking for Bags Made in the USA I would suggest you also check out Vermilyea Pelle. Their 20” duffel is on my wish list. Outstanding craftsmanship for my $. Cheers.
Bags made in the USA. One brand to mention is Vermilyea Pelle - I have a number of bags from them and they take everything about the Filson and elevate every detail.
Bags made in the USA. The Bradley Mountain Rambler is actually the largest duffle they offer, the Ranger is more meant to be an overnight / weekend trip kind of bag. The rambler is more basic but has significantly more volume. Perhaps you can do a review of that! Also if you’re talking about briefcases, you should check out BM’s Courier.
I don't think I have any Bags made in the USA but will definitely check out the other options here. Love Filson, but I think that Heat Straps joint is the way to go.
Bags made in the USA. I like all three, although I’d be interested in seeing the Bradley Mountain in the other color. The Heat Straps looks cool, but I’m not sure about the contrasting color for the pockets. Certainly the Filson rugged twill looks great, however maybe a full width external pocket on one or both ends wouldn’t disrupt the otherwise clean exterior.
Bags Made in the USA....Cheers. Love the older Filson stuff. Current Filson is tough to take the price and being made off-shore. Heat Straps products are simply BEAST! Have their vest and love it.
I think any of these bags would be great options and would last for years. All pretty expensive but in my experience bags are one of those products where you usually get what you pay for.
I would still pick the Filson, I enjoy having independent pouches to move to different bags so it not having many slots give space for my pouches, 100 extra is expensive but already spending a bunch doesn't make that much difference. Bags made in the USA
Bags made in the USA. Exactly what I was looking for! Trying to get my travel gear in aome sort of order. I had pixked up the Nutsac and was just plain too small. Love the Filson but a little more than I wanted to spend. I tend to overpack so I may go for the Heat Straps. I think you should do a supplemental video! Pack some boots, flannels and some of those white t shirts you have!!! Lol!
I got my Filson medium duffle (otter green) a few years ago for $395. At the time, I felt that was steep but never regretted the purchase and still love using it when I travel. But for $595 nowadays? Oof. It’s a hard call, but I’d go with Bradley Mountain. I have their Biographer backpack and love it just as much as the Filson.
Bags made in the USA. Great video! Hey I was just curious if you or anyone here had a chance to look at some of the leather and waxed canvas bags that I seen advertised by Thursday Boot Company at all yet? I wasn’t sure how well made they were. I do realize they probably are not made in the states lol.
I’d really like to bag that Bradley Mountain one - alas, I don’t travel nearly enough to use it adequately. And my wife might object, so…🤷🏼♂️ But it’s really the looker in this lineup. Hell, I might get it and hang it on a wall!
The Filson is absolutely the best bag, these tend to retain a lot of value or even go up in value long term whilst the others will be forgotten. Go for the original, not the copy!
I'm curious how many guys actually use duffle bags? What occasion? What do you feel the pros are? Cons? I find myself wanting to buy one but when I think about it I can't see myself using it so I'm curious
Bags made in the USA. You got the forest green Bradley mountain duffle! I wish I would’ve pulled the trigger on it before they sold out. Hopefully they bring it back some day because that colorway is gorgeous. Great video Carl!
As a proud Red Oxx owner I’d recommend checking them out if you’re interested in high quality duffel bags. Lifetime warranty and they’re tough as nails. Made in the USA as well 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love the work you put into the slow upclose pan shots to show off the details. Those shots look amazing 👏
Thank you, I sincerely appreciate that!
I appreciate Heat Straps billowed pockets. They seem to be more capable than the other two bags
Great rundown. The Heat Straps duffle is just so good with all the utility it provides. Bags Made in the USA.
You're forgetting the rambler from Bradley mountain, its their largest duffle at 52L and also the most affordable
For international travel and the risk of pick-pocketing/theft, the omission of exterior pockets on the Filson is a positive. As well as the storm flap.
Bags made in the USA! I just got the Bradley Mountain Cabin Jacket and it's FANTASTIC! I love how much love they are getting.
Bags made in the USA are the only type I want! Though I'd make ready exceptions for Mexico, Spain, Italy, and Japan.
That Heat Straps bag is beautiful. Bags made in the USA
Excellent timing. I was searching for a good travel duffel. Thank you for presenting these bags made in the USA.
I’m definitely digging the heat straps! Would definitely make a good birthday gift to myself since my birthday is tomorrow! Bags made in the USA
Just got the Nicks x Heats Straps duffle on order can't wait to take it on out of state storm calls.
I have 3 Filson bags, a bunch of Mulholland Bros, Will Leather Goods, etc... I felt this wonderful feeling in my mind, body and soul when she said “I prefer kislux
The Heatstraps bag is everything you'd expect, and more. That horween leather was understated, it is phenomenal. This bag is outstanding. Heatstraps is stealing the show

Bags made in the USA
Great review! I traveled for the first time with a four wheeled suitcase and I gotta say don’t think I can go back. 😂 but these bags are definitely way cooler and better looking than a hard shell carry on.
Totally agree! Rolling a suitcase is FAR better than carrying anything. Although that’s where the luggage strap on Heat Staps bag comes in handy.
Bags made in the USA
My go to duffle bag for the longest time was my Dads old canvas parachute bag. That thing took a beating. Now it serves as a tent and tarps bag.
I didn’t know Heat Straps made a bag! I would probably pick theirs out of the three. Bags made in the USA.
Bags made in the USA , sure sounds good to me & I would have to agree that the Bradley Mountain is the perfect blend of form & function
I love Bradley Mountain, I have a few backpacks and totes from them. For Bags made in the USA, BM is a very good choice. Now, I own a few Filson bags and backpacks as well, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about it. Filson materials are indestructible; if you can afford it, I think everyone should experience Filson.
there is frost river explorer duffel bag with 102L size that cost half price of these one in the video with great quality.
Agree. I was about to post the same thing.
Great video! Thank you for the in-depth review. Just ordered the heat straps.
I have some travel bags amongst a lot of other items from company called Frost River. Their bags are made in the USA in Duluth Minnesota. They are worth checking out and I really enjoy their products.
100%!!!!!!
Bags made in the USA - I prefer the rugged look of the Heat Straps and for travel a dirty laundry pocket is essential.
I own about 10 or more Filson bags, including the medium duffel in the vid, in otter. Great bag. Well made and feels top notch. My issue is that Filson jacked the price up substantially about 2yrs ago. Used to cost $395. Its now $595. Way too much.

The heat straps bag seems perfect for us, always lugging around laptops, computers, whatever else. Bags made in the USA would go a long way here
I would really love to get some bags made in the USA someday! Just found your channel and your videos are cozy and well produced!

Love all those bags, all heirloom duffles!! But if I was picking I would go with the heat straps just for style alone.
I don't think I have any Bags made in the USA but will definitely check out the other options here. Love Filson, but I think that Heat Straps joint is the way to go.

Heatstraps quality is unmatched!!!
Not really a direct comparison to these but Steel Canvas also makes a waxed canvas duffle. American made and only $200.
ANOTHER CARL M BANGER VIDEO!
I think any of these bags would be great options and would last for years. All pretty expensive but in my experience bags are one of those products where you usually get what you pay for.
"Bags made in the USA"
Another great video! Very interested what you have in store for us!

I’d really like to bag that Bradley Mountain one - alas, I don’t travel nearly enough to use it adequately. And my wife might object, so…🤷🏼♂️
But it’s really the looker in this lineup. Hell, I might get it and hang it on a wall!
I don't have any "Bags made in the USA" but do have plenty of boots and a belt made in the USA
I love bags made in the USA
Thank you, sir.
The Filson is absolutely the best bag, these tend to retain a lot of value or even go up in value long term whilst the others will be forgotten. Go for the original, not the copy!
Maaan I’m so torn with Bradley mountain vs heat straps… it’s so feature rich! Bags made in the USA
Should have reviewed Duluth Pack.
I don't know if I need Bags made in the USA, however we do need more textiles made here so I guess we pay $500 for a bag.
Heat straps one looks great!
Bags made in the USA… another good comparison video! 👍
Bags made in the USA. All great bags funny how I've been wanting to invest into a great American made bag, and you release this video 😂
I'm curious how many guys actually use duffle bags? What occasion? What do you feel the pros are? Cons? I find myself wanting to buy one but when I think about it I can't see myself using it so I'm curious
any honorable mentions for the NutSac duffel?
Bags made in the USA. You got the forest green Bradley mountain duffle! I wish I would’ve pulled the trigger on it before they sold out. Hopefully they bring it back some day because that colorway is gorgeous. Great video Carl!
Also. I think I just decided I still like the Filson.
Bags made in the USA. I think the Heat Straps would be my choice.
