Gosh, you`re such a busy bee. I will try to be a little more efficient by making tags in bulk. It`s adorable that you make as little paper waste as possible. I also love that you use glue sticks. I like them because they make less mess than fluid glue... LOL Thank you for the inspiration, JD❤
I am - hehe. I always love having a project on the go and love having my hands busy. Making things in bulk isn’t for everyone as some people enjoy making things one at a time, so it’s just about finding what you gives you the most joy.
I really like this idea a lot. I am new to this journal making world and I've made one tag so far. I will have a go at making several in one go. I used a cereal box for my one tag. I can use card from different food packaging. I do have a sheet of card stock from the dollar shop which might be handy for this too. I think it makes sense to have a few tags with a base layer already made up. We Can always add extra things to the tags later on depending upon the journal theme. Thank you for sharing.
I did that recently. Made my very first tag! I used a cereal box for the card. I coffee dyed some paper and glued to the back. Embellished the front with paper and other items. It turned out ok. I show the finished result in a video if you want to see. 😊
Fun concept not knowing how the tags will look like when turned over. I love doing large collaged pieces like that. I also emboss some tags which gives extra dimension.
Thanks so much for the great video. Quick question: Do you hole punch a hole at the top of your tags? If so, what do you use as a reinforcement around the hole?
I’m just starting out and your video has inspired me and I will be starting some tonight! Do you prefer a specific brand of folders. They can vary in thickness a lot. Thanks!,,,
You're so cute! I love your giggling ❤ Do you sew them all the way around? And do you have a video on adding the pocket??? Making a tag for my granddaughter's bd today (: I loved this.
Aww thank you so much!. Yep I sew all the way around. I’m not sure about a process video with pockets, but I just place the pocket lightly with glue and then sew the same as I do for a tag without a pocket
Although I think they're cute, I've always been confused by the tags in journals. Tags have historically had a use as attachments to identify an item and/or its price. What is the purpose of use for a tag in a journal?
For me the purpose is beauty on the front and journaling space on the back like a tag-shaped journal card to give more interest and variety in shapes, although others use them in different ways. Plus actual price tags are often used in junk journals too as originally junk journals only included things considered junk, I think
Hello, I'm having gr8 difficulty making these tags, I've tried for hours on end trying to achieve these corners, I've measured & measured , at my age, I get upset with myself, did u make ur own template? Or purchase these first tags just to get started? I need any advice u can give me, have a blessed 🙏 day 💕
Oh they are all different sizes. I don’t measure them, instead I use store bought templates and to start off with and then use them to create tags of all sizes as a guide
I start off with a store-bought template and trace out my tags, creating my own sizes from there as well. So when I cut out the new sizes I can use those as templates to trace out more tags. I don’t photocopy but I scan some of them so I can print them again and again. Hope that was helpful but feel free to ask again if I wasn’t clear
Juni, your giggles make me smile and you come across delightful and happy! Thanks for your great tutorials!!
Aww thank you so much
I really enjoyed watching how you make the tags. I’m new to making journals and this was extremely helpful. Thank you so much.🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much. So glad it was helpful.
Thanks for showing us this! Definitely saves time. It's always good to have a stash for choices!
No worries at all.

I need to start making things in bulk too. This is such a good idea. I don’t think you’re going to run out of tags too soon! TFS!
Hehe, I just keep making more. So fun!
I always enjoy your bulk tag videos Juni. Thank you. Yvonne
Thank you so much. Looking forward to making more
Thank you! I do it like you, I think, but I use coffee capsules boxes etc instead of card stock. On the backside I glue coffee stained copy paper😊.
Awesome thanks heaps for sharing

Love your tag styles!
Love making these and so glad you like them
I love your process I am gonna try this now !! thank you
Yay, have fun giving it a go
I do it like you, but I use cereal or cracker box chip board if I'm covering it and file folders when I want to decorate them
Awesome, thanks for sharing
That was helpful. I’m sure it’s cheaper to cut them out than buy them already made. I have a few folders so I can use them to make tags!!
Aww so glad. Have fun making tags
Just found your channel, wow just what I was looking for..Thanks for sharing...

Ooh I'd love to play around with embossing one day - hehe
Your tags are very cool. They're so easy to make as well. TFS.
Thank you so much
Thank you ,and do you have another video how to make them ready for use?
Oh I make them ready for use in this video. I just cut them, glue and sew on decoration, then add them to journals to journal on the back of the tags
They are all pretty !
Thank you so much
All looks lovely great fun making but it may be an obvious question, but what ideas do people have for using them?
I use them for journaling space to write on the back after paper clipped onto a journal page or tucked into a pocket
I love the way you make tags❤
Thank you so much
Love your tags. Your heart beat stitch is “blind hemming stitch “
Thank you so much
Great idea with creating in bulk. Thanks for sharing

Lovely video JD, I need to stock up on manilla folders! 🌸🌸🌸

Very inspiring

Yay, cheering you on. I use whatever I can get at the local shop. I just checked and the ones I have at the moment don’t have a brand.
I am a new subscriber.Debra from String & Scissors was talk ong about your mass making tags.
Aww how fun. Love having them in bulk
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
Great video! I like to make in bulk too using cereal boxes. Do you find that the glue stick gums up your machine at all?
Thank you so much. Not at all. I use it because the clear craft gums it up but the glue stick doesn’t

watching till the end 💋💟😍😘
LOVE it 💟

Hai, don’t you do the backside?
I leave the back for writing space
Hi Juni. Thank you for this video. Question: After gluing, my tags curl even after putting them under a heavy book. What can I do?
I use Manila folder as my tag base so they don’t curl cos it’s quite thick. I’d say use a thicker base for your tags and hope that helps
Thank you, I’m gonna start right away. So you do one side of the tag? Makes is easier😁
Where did you get the original sizes from?
Oh yay how exciting! Yep one side so I can write on the back. I got the originals in some happy mail

@@JuniDesiree Thanks, that's an excellent description, and I get it now.
How do you punch out the hole and what size is it? I am new to all this
I don't punch a hole and I use templates from store bought tags to cut the size. Or I just cut my own sizes and keep one as a template
So very cute🦋
Thank you so much
Love this idea. Would much rather create in bulk. Having a base on hand would really save time. TFS
Love having them on hand in bulk - hehe. SO fun!
How do use the tags? Do you write information on them?
People journal on the back or add photos or ephemera or maybe a combination
What do you do with the tags in a journal ?
I tuck them in pockets, paperclip them in, and people can journal on the back

I do use templates, here's a video showing how: ua-cam.com/video/K0CKaAVHOHE/v-deo.html
Hope that helps
JD where do you get your music books? Are they piano books?
Opshops. Most are piano, I think, but some might be for trumpet or guitar, etc.
Thank you x
You are most welcome
What kind of glue are you using ?
Clear craft glue or Bostik glue stick
Thank you
What are sizes of the tags please? I watched video twice and read transcript but cannot find what size they are.
Oh they are all different sizes. I don’t measure them, instead I use store bought templates and to start off with and then use them to create tags of all sizes as a guide
@@JuniDesiree ok thanks
what kind of glue stick do u use
Bostik or Elmers
AaaSum video!!!!
Thank you so much
Do you have a template for different tag sizes?
I use store bought tags for that
Pretty
Thank you so much
Measurements?
They are all different. I use a store-bought tag template and then just use that as a guide to make smaller, narrower or wider tags
@@JuniDesiree Ok'thanks
