Gosh, you`re such a busy bee. I will try to be a little more efficient by making tags in bulk.
It`s adorable that you make as little paper waste as possible.
I also love that you use glue sticks. I like them because they make less mess than fluid glue... LOL

I am - hehe. I always love having a project on the go and love having my hands busy. Making things in bulk isn’t for everyone as some people enjoy making things one at a time, so it’s just about finding what you gives you the most joy.

I really like this idea a lot. I am new to this journal making world and I've made one tag so far.
I will have a go at making several in one go.
I used a cereal box for my one tag.
I can use card from different food packaging. I do have a sheet of card stock from the dollar shop which might be handy for this too.
I think it makes sense to have a few tags with a base layer already made up. We Can always add extra things to the tags later on depending upon the journal theme.

Fun concept not knowing how the tags will look like when turned over. I love doing large collaged pieces like that. I also emboss some tags which gives extra dimension.

Thank you! I do it like you, I think, but I use coffee capsules boxes etc instead of card stock. On the backside I glue coffee stained copy paper😊.

I did that recently. Made my very first tag! I used a cereal box for the card.
I coffee dyed some paper and glued to the back. Embellished the front with paper and other items. It turned out ok. I show the finished result in a video if you want to see.

I do it like you, but I use cereal or cracker box chip board if I'm covering it and file folders when I want to decorate them

All looks lovely great fun making but it may be an obvious question,but what ideas do people have for using them?
I use them for journaling space to write on the back after paper clipped onto a journal page or tucked into a pocket

Aww thank you so much!. Yep I sew all the way around. I’m not sure about a process video with pockets, but I just place the pocket lightly with glue and then sew the same as I do for a tag without a pocket

Oh I make them ready for use in this video. I just cut them, glue and sew on decoration, then add them to journals to journal on the back of the tags

Yay, cheering you on. I use whatever I can get at the local shop. I just checked and the ones I have at the moment don’t have a brand.
Great video! I like to make in bulk too using cereal boxes. Do you find that the glue stick gums up your machine at all?

Hi Juni. Thank you for this video. Question: After gluing, my tags curl even after putting them under a heavy book. What can I do?
I use Manila folder as my tag base so they don’t curl cos it’s quite thick. I’d say use a thicker base for your tags and hope that helps

How do you punch out the hole and what size is it? I am new to all this
I don't punch a hole and I use templates from store bought tags to cut the size. Or I just cut my own sizes and keep one as a template

Opshops. Most are piano, I think, but some might be for trumpet or guitar, etc.
Hello, I'm having gr8 difficulty making these tags, I've tried for hours on end trying to achieve these corners, I've measured & measured , at my age, I get upset with myself, did u make ur own template? Or purchase these first tags just to get started? I need any advice u can give me, have a blessed 🙏 day 💕

What do you do with the tags in a journal ?
I tuck them in pockets, paperclip them in, and people can journal on the back
How do use the tags? Do you write information on them?
People journal on the back or add photos or ephemera or maybe a combination
Do you have a template for different tag sizes?
I use store bought tags for that

What are sizes of the tags please? I watched video twice and read transcript but cannot find what size they are.
Oh they are all different sizes. I don’t measure them, instead I use store bought templates and to start off with and then use them to create tags of all sizes as a guide

U cud trace then photocopy it
I start off with a store-bought template and trace out my tags, creating my own sizes from there as well. So when I cut out the new sizes I can use those as templates to trace out more tags. I don’t photocopy but I scan some of them so I can print them again and again. Hope that was helpful but feel free to ask again if I wasn’t clear
