  • I've been experimenting with hoods, got a Wendy's hood with a TrueArc lens and it's amazing - my ability to see has dramatically increased. My apologies, the lens is $59 not $50.

You should use the arcone they are just as good as the Lincoln’s and are only 90 bucks you should try one!

That’s actually what I have in there now and you’re right I love it. I have one that can switch between shades 10 and 11.

Good info. Do you think it's worth trying one? My sugar scoop is great. Only complaint is getting to flip it down and fit in tight spaces under cars mostly

You can definitely get it in a lot more tight spaces for sure. For under vehicles, I’m actually thinking about a pair of either the Lincoln or Miller auto darkening goggles that have a fire resistant hood I think that’s gonna be the ultimate tight space protection.

Are you trying to scoop out hoods on cars? Is that something you would use welding for

what I use is a "cheater" or magnifying lens like this (I use a 2.0 magnification) : smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B095YW7KXP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
if you need a true prescription I know these lenses fit under pancakes : Tom Waters www.tomwatersonline.com/product/shop-by-popular-work-brands/tom-waters-optical-and-boots/tom-waters-pipeliner-glasses-regular-rim-frame/

Look if I'm outside I'm going to be under a tent to begin with and if your Hood's fogging up breathing hard just calm down it'll be okay I like the old school pipeliner a regular lens if it's up it's off it's down it's on
