Something i really like about this channel is that it doesnt just read whole-ass comics word for word, it takes specific stories and abridges them in a way that makes them easily digestible (especially considering how weird comics can be) Hell, I'm a huge fan of The Thing, and i learned more about him from this channel than I think I ever knew before. Plus, we sometimes get the rare Mullet-Man voicover, which is always a treat. Keep doing what you're doing, dude. You're a really good storyteller and it's a treat to see you upload.

well doc octavius didn't even use a real nuclear bomb! it was just only a bascly a overly secure clock coverd in nulcar meteral to bascly make ironman think it was real. so doc oct was bascly bluffing aobut the nuclear bomb the whole time and iron man fell for the bluff complty as the perfect iceing and chary top on the cake.
Iron Man and Doc Ock is such a cool rivalry. Octavius just being this sad, shriveled up excuse of a man is also pretty cool, too. Just shows you how much he really relies on his arms so much.

Because there's a history there, and it's the fact that we have an Iron Man vs Doc Ock comic that makes the Marvel Comics universe feel connected. Other villains fight heroes they usually don't fight, and other heroes share villains like Spider-Man and Daredevil sharing Kingpin, etc. It's just interesting is all.

Unless this story leads up to Superior Spider-Man, I'm not a big fan of their being TWO stories about Doc Ock dying. That said, I really like the sound of this because it's a tense situation for arguably the proudest of superheroes and acknowledges that Otto doesn't have superpowers and is a smart guy in a world of much smarter guys (both of which always stood out to me). Also pretty cool to see villains popping in other heroes' lives and amusingly, Shocker got one over on Shellhead way before Ock did...They both did much better than Mysterio did when he went after Daredevil.

To be honest Tony's actions in this story should be celebrated if anything like how many of us average people all over the world would get on our knees and beg to a psychopath in order to save a city? Doing nothing would be heavy but at the end of the day putting his pride aside not just for his loved ones but millions of people is a lot easier said than done and while it's very noble and kind not everyone is noble or kind. Also I feel like situations like this for psycho villains have to settle for what they can get because the reality is it wasn't happening for the reason they wanted especially if they spend years dreaming of this moment something like Tony getting on his knees to save New York rather than because he's actually wrong and Doc Oc is smarter than him I can't imagine that is truly enough that even though it's the best he'll ever get I can't imagine one would every be completely satisfied that some part of them deep down in your subconscious would maintain that same hunger for whatever it is the villain wanted. We all have some desire that we realistically never get but not all of us have one fueled by such strong emotions as Doc Oc in this story so I just imagine that while for the average person it's often a trivial desire and you can move on I simply wonder if Doc Oc or characters with these kinds of hungering for something they know will never be so they settle if the character will be able to still have what they wanted in the end. But idk i'm def not an expert but those are my thoughts and questions on things
