Just did a fresh install of Windows downloaded the chipset ect AND NOTHING POPED UP! Bios is up to date because i had it pop up before i did the fresh install.. Seriously MSI why can you not just have a manual download for this app..!?
Seriously, MSI; a lot of people are asking how to run it again, I had to force close it myself but it won't start anymore. Who thought it was a good idea to be unable to start it manually again. FFS.

@@internetgunk You don't put it in, it's a path, follow it. Double click your local disk (C;) Then program files (86) and so on...
Pretty hard to meet those requirements when the new board won’t connect to internet without drivers installed….but need to connect to the internet to install them? See the issue?
WTF is Norton 360 doing there?
RIGHT. i noticed it after i started the install and canceled it, now i cant find it......
They get money from Norton for throwing it in there (esp with it checked by default). Because of course it's not just garbage software no one wants, its a trial. The main reason I turned this junk off in BIOS.
You do not need to install this program. Open the msi center application and go to the live update section from the support tab. Then click "scan". If there are new drivers for the hardware, you will see them.

Hello there @ MSI, why would it only pop up one time? thanks for making the video i been searching for the driver utility installer for an hour after closing the window for the first time it popped up.
That's what I want to know as well since it wanted to pop up during my windows update install. So it went bye bye after first reboot lol
I removed all traces of "msiswacpi.inf" from the registry.
i moved "msiswacpi.inf_amd64_8432d1fa8784c256" from %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
then I did all this
net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop appidsvc
net stop cryptsvc
Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\*.*"
rmdir %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution /S /Q

How do you install the driver installer?
I downloaded MSI center and did it from there, worked great inclluding all updates!
had to close it cause i noticed norton 360 being there, now i can't manually open it MSI?? Really???

The installer does not start and no manual download is provided. Thus this solution is to buggy or its fake news. The question for manual download appears multiple times and thus many users have the same problem.
oh my lord why is this not straight forward
My install froze at realtek hd driver install and I had to close it and now idk what didn't install and I can't find out how to get it back. i see all these comments asking the same thing but MSI has yet to respond to even one of them.
The exact same thing happened to me, froze at 73%. cancelled and now I cant figure out how to get that same menu again. But I went to the MSI website and looked up my motherboard and downloaded every driver there, I dont know about computers but im pretty sure thats the same thing.

This is ridiculous. We need to be able to open this process ourselves in case it freezes (which it has done for me).

Nothing popped up in my pc. Just why????? Why don't you provide an offline setup that, when gets connected to the internet, automatically detects and downloads drivers just AMD Adranaline?

They dont even have it listed on the website for download for my model. Just instructions on how to use it....
Norton 360, and checked by default. Gross. Not only POS software I wouldn't install if you paid me, but of course its also just a trial version. First thing I turned off in the BIOS when I got my 7800X3D system built. Hope you at least got a nice kick back from Norton MSI. I'll stick to just going to the motherboard support page for driver and BIOS updates.

Honestly it just popped up after I updated my bios
There's a setting in the new bios that defaults to true if you clear your cmos that extracts the embedded driver from the rom to the windows update folder on the boot harddrive.

My first and my last MSI laptop for me. the hardware is great, but the software is complete shit. i was having blue screens and crashes on day fucking ONE when i bought the latop, driver issues between the intel and nvidia grafic cards. at this point i cleaned all the MSI software off the device, changed the bios and run the default Intell/nvidia drivers, no more crashes... no more blue screens... and no more overheating... MSI FIX YOUR DAMN DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE, the dragon center is a joke with random missing parts, the utility installer needs to be accesible at any point if we have driver issues. this is insanely bad service for a €3200 device

So how do I get back into this? It did pop up automatically when I first booted up, but I hit cancel as it got stuck at 25% for about an hour. Now I don't know how to get back

Hola buenas, he comprado un monitor MAG274QRF-QD recientemente, el proceso del MSI Driver Utility ciertamente inició al principio, sólo salieron dos opciones, la del Gaming Intelligence y Norton, sólo deje el Game Intelligence. Termina el proceso. El punto es... Yo asumo que el driver del monitor se instala pero no tengo idea de que versión. Dónde puedo ver la versión del driver del monitor?

I understand the license restrictions to make a bios open source, but could you make this setting disabled by default?
