I worked with Roy Castle many years ago, a wonderful man. Sadly missed.
I always thought he was a nice fella but I recently read that a 9 year old boy asked him for an autograph and 'apparently' Roy told him to shove that pen up his bum and sing Swanee River.

@@Loverboy19691 I'd say about 99% chance that's not true. I knew his family and there's no way he would say that kind of thing.
I was the Stage Manager on a big variety fund-raiser show at The Palladium in the 1990s, hosted by his wife to raise money for his cancer charity. :-)

The song Dedication was played over the closing credits of Record Breakers and there are monologues Roy gives referring to the four minute mile by Roger Bannister (Roger achieved a mile in 3 minutes 59 seconds) and the achievements by Edmund Hillary and Neil Armstrong. The Graham Pearson S Health App should enter the Book of Records too.
Dedication is what you need... If you wanna be a record breaker... record breaker...

If l was a smoker, l would not be smoking during Roys sax playing. I guess those smokers did not realise that the smoke got in his lungs. Couldn't they wait til he finished playing?
I may have to do a cover version of this song but the dialogue would go a bit further and mentions myself and Roy.
