I was born in a war torn country and I was 3 years old when God saved us from a stream of bullets. I was diagnosed with PTSD at the age of 5 and spent most of my childhood in trauma and pain.
Today, I have a beautiful family settled in Canada and a successful career.
Life can give you a lot of lemons, BUT God works in His miraculous ways.

I had a really bad day and couldn’t find peace, then the spirit led me to play this worship song, and even though it is not well with my heart and with my soul I believe that it will be well. i struggle everyday of being rejected by my work colleauges whom unfortunately I share the same house with by being honest and true to my work. I always offer my work as worship to God who gave me this work. My colleagues think I am different, since I always urge them to follow our company's policy, I happened to be their supervisor as well. So nobody talks to me or being invited to dinner. This song always give me the courage to go on and not let depression nor self pity to sink in. Thank you for this Bethel Music and praise Jesus for your talents!

I was doing an assignment when this song came on. I was finding it difficult to do certain parts but as I sang "It is well", the Spirit of God ministered the right way to go to me and when I tested the program it worked perfectly!!! IT IS WELL!!! Don't stop believing!

I am actually doing an assignment for my final evaluation of my medicine internship and I was feeling so stressed, I woke up wanting to throw out, with stomachache, feeling insecure; but reading your testimony was like God Himself reminding me that it is well and that I will find the right way to finish this work succesfuly. If He has done it before, He can do it again. 4 Years ago you wrote this and today it has helped me. Thank you! I hope this helps others too haha... whatever you are facing now, if it´s stress and fear for what the future holds, be still and know that God was already there, and He won´t let you down... it is well, enjoy the journey with His companion. :)

I’ve been doing a particular program for the past 6 years this program is meant to last for 3 years. Through the process I experience depression, anxiety fear that led to suicidal thoughts. after all the sleepless night, all the dark moments and tears. I still failed so sad 😭 😢. But through it all IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. My eyes are still on you. Thank-you Jesus.

This song kept reminding me to keep my eyes towards Jesus during my unemployment. It’s so easy to place our self-worth in our occupation even with the knowledge that we should have Jesus as our identity. Depression and self-isolation hit me hard. Always keep your eyes on Jesus brothers and sisters, he’ll bring everything together in the right time, in His own beautiful ways that our tiny human minds can’t comprehend. May you find God in your hardships and challenges.

The first time I heard this Bethel version of this classic hymn, it moved me in a completely different way from the "It Is Well" I grew up singing. I pray that people will open their hearts to our Lord Jesus Christ when they hear this song. We all need Jesus - especially in this day and age - now more than ever before!

I get a severe depression since march 2017 and i also got hit by Anxiety disorder which first panic attack hit me then the anxiety keep following until this day. There are times i feel i cant step forward anymore 😭 but i know with Jesus everything is possible. Jesus can heal me and make me a better person

Jesus, my prince of peace
The last couple of weeks had been tough. With pressures at work and home, anxiety had found its way into my heart. After several days of unrest, this resulted in a panic episode one night.
I could hear my heart beating loudly throughout that time.
I recall that I immediately began to pray. I prayed as loudly as I could, but the more I prayed, the more terrified I became. Exhausted and agitated that night I barely slept, had to call for help.
Over the subsequent days, I had several questions.
How did l get here?
How could this happen to a christian who follows the Lord? Nevertheless, I cried out to the Lord, "Help me," repeatedly.
Several days later,
These words from a biblical passage (John 14:27 AMP)
Particularly caught my attention
“ Peace I leave with you
My own peace I now give and bequeath to you.
Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled,
Neither let them be afraid.
Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed;
Do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled”.
From the biblical passage, these words literally "popped out" to me.
Even though I was familiar with them,
This time it was like music to my ears
As l read them over and over again
The understanding of His peace overwhelmed me!
To be fearful or intimidated or unsettled,
l would have to permit it first into my heart.
Hold on a second!
I could choose not to fear!
I have the power to resist anxiety and fear!
I can reject the need to feel alarmed or terrified!
Wow, the comprehension struck me so deeply!
Then it was over!
Fear dissipated like vapour.
Anxiety gave way to peace
As His love blanketed me,
I experienced this peace beyond understanding
That night, l slept soundly for the first time in days
Having understood that His peace had become mine
Defying all odds, not contingent on any circumstance
Peace was a person!
Jesus, my prince of peace
I am nothing,my life mean nothing without you Jesus. It is well with my soul,Amen.

This has become one of my absolute favorite songs of all time. I love at about 10:10, when Kristene proclaims with all of her being, that "IT IS WELL". There is nothing else in life that gives us that kind of peace, other than knowing for a fact that we have an opportunity to be with Almighty GOD in Heaven forever- thanks to Jesus' sacrifice for us. Went to Army and stuck in training for 19 weeks, I was afraid I can’t go through the tough training, all the running and push up make me go tired...I don want to do this anymore, at that time I chance upon this song and the anointing of God was so strong, I listen to this song for two days straight and from then on, I feel that I was able to go through anything that God had set for me, even if the training is tough till I lie flat on the ground, I will always Whisper “it is well with my soul” God gave me this vessel so that I can break it down and build it up, God strengthen my soul so that it can be call into a greater destiny. I have lost 10 Kg since I when in to Army for 8 weeks, I got 11 weeks more to go and I believe for greater breakthrough

My mistakes are condemning me. It's hard for me to move forward everytime I remember that I hurt somebody who's very close to my heart. I keep asking for forgiveness for what I did and it is the Lord who tells me that everything is gonna be okay for He is control.
You should listen to “You’re going to be OK” by Brian and Jenn Johnson, also Bethel music. Perhaps you’ve already listened to it. But it speaks exactly to what you are going through. I pray God will give you peace, comfort and assurance of his free gift of salvation and forgiveness!

But if you havent read the story of Horratio Spafford, a Christian man who lost two daughters at sea, while the famikyctraveled to a revival by D. L Moody, and later in life three sons. As Spafford crossed the Atlantic, the captain showed him wherechus daughters were lost. He penned the lyrics after.

I haven't been feeling well. I'm back to being dysfunctional, back before I knew Jesus Christ. I don't know how to live anymore. I'm feeling everything and nothing and I also have to lead the people into worshipping but can I do that while I'm not at peace? I don't feel like I should be there, my heart is not ready enough for the big task :-(
