Was that Ob playing that kazoo? Well done. 😃 Didn't know you could drink Imperial with a straw? I'm surprised the straw doesn't melt. 😄 Robert has a beautiful display with some great pieces. Despite the so so audio, another great video.
Awesome show with some great daggers especially liked that Christmas Liebstandarte Dagger, numbered chained dagger, diplomatic daggers, and identified kreigsmarine dagger! Wow!!
Tom is the expert but that Christmas dagger looks pretty shoddy to me. The way the blade meets up to the guard looks pretty poor. If it didn't have the box and the story it wouldn't stand a chance for any one to believe its real. Just my opinion though.
Especially the box itself looks cheap for a personal gift by Hitler, a "very important piece". Rough wood, standard cheap hinges.....the plaque on the outside...also very simple. All in all a very simple piece, at the almost highest point of the third reich. And as far as i know, we dedicate gifts and celebrate christmas on december 24th in Germany. And besides all that...an until now unknown personal gift by Hitler to Leibstandarte Commanders for Chirstmas 1939? Schtonk!
@@pabstat7778 I think it was claimed that the American veteran made the box. Still doesn't make up for the low quality of the dagger itself. I think this was something made in the 1970s or 1980s and I could probably guess which country. I hope the guy didn't pay a lot for it.
just watched war story antiques new video featuring one of Himmler's white dress coats that's going up for auction. its in amazing condition. if I seen it out in the wild I would say its a fake. but i noticed Himmler had a red ribbon above his breast pocket. what is that? he never seen combat. its an 90 year ongoing joke how Himmler didn't earn any medals lol. but I'm really curious what that ribbon is.
OUTSTANDING UBOAT DISPLAY
I envy you extraordinary!
In the horrific germany today, impossible to make such an Event with those historic items in the public!
Thanks for the tour guys, Enjoyed the daggers these guys showed.

I would rather buy six plain bayonets, than this whatever piece. :)

You should have Joe come on as a guest for an unboxing video.
Seems Tom has been feeding his kids very well…😅
❤👍👍
Awesome pieces, but you guys should get a better camera for the close-up...
