Hey my name is Lucas and I'm 13. when I first started a few years ago I had the smallest clue of what the modeling experience was about or how to understand some of the intricate instructions, but these videos helped me to better understand the joy and feeling of completion of when you finish that ever so complicated model that takes you so long. every day after school I sit down and watch one of your videos, not only for entertainment but the knowledge you gain from it each time. So I am very grateful that you upload these videos and share your knowledge for generations to come. Keep up the good work.
that"s great Lucas, I'm glad you like the videos
At the 7:45 mark. In step 7 suspension and road wheels starts. STEP SEVEN!!!! I always thought it had to start at step 1, like some kind of law. lol Thanks for the build. Found the page a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying it. Another thumbs up
I’m getting ready to start building the M107 tomorrow. My dad was in the artillery as a first lieutenant in Vietnam and ran a crew of M107’s and M110’s and I’m going to build it for him
Excellent. Vietnam doesn't get enough builds. Best to your dad and thank him for his service
God bless
like the music. both styles. much easier on the ears than typical youTube music.
oh, and the videos are good too. :)
+Old Grumpus Thank you
Very nice music. Adds a little comfy jazzy touch to your video! I like it!
+Andrey Andreychuk thank you
Audrey hum? Thought he was a hockey player. Lol. 🇨🇦
I've used a piece of brass tubing as a hole punch for the bolts on the zimmerit. I had used it before on an aftermarket zimmerit kit for my Tamiya Sturmpanzer kit. Worked like a charm.
If I ever come across a similar "hole" problem, ill make a punch out of brass tubing. Thanks for the videos, sir!
Exactly what I was thinking!!
Love the good jobs you do on the tank models! Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Stay with classical music. I felt like I was on hold listening to this stuff. But will hang and enjoy watching the build.
Love the build and the music! Thanks Andy.
Awesome looks great every single time you have the best experience in this stuff
Classical is soothing while watching Andy build
But this is also a nice change Elefant came out really nice
What a sweet looking kit ! Thanks for the video.
Just want to say thanks my friend you restarted my interest in building models I've done 4 so far with 2 more pending. All armor
Music is great. That reggae stuff was good too. Just need something to listen to while we watch you work your magic. Great vids. Very instructive and fun to learn new techniques
Andy, Use a burnishing tool, rubber or metal to make the zimmeret stick to kit. Can also use hole punch to make decal fit around bolts
Andy you are correct I had no issues adding the zimmert to my Tamiya Tiger II. It went on fairly easy.and still looks good about a year later.
Nice job on this Andy. I like how you show how to do a kit quickly but well at the same time. I wish Tamiya moulded the zimm on.
+MrBMBuilder Thank you I wish it was molded on too ,maybe they might retool a little and make a ferdinand
Yes I love the music thank you The music also very nice thank you
Hi Andy,
Another great build, you have done a excellent job, your music is ok I still did not mind the classical music, happy modelling over the holiday period.
Les
such a wonderful built...keep on building!!
Thanks! Your video builds w/ classical music lured me back to modeling and, for the first time ever, building armoured vehicles. I am a lifelong Rock & Roll guy, ( I am 67) but the Classical music really works with your presentations. Keep it!
Lovely job Andy. Thanks.
Andy, one of the best modellers out there! :)
Keep the great work up! //Jesse from Sweden.
+Hetzer Thank you
Nice! Cool painting.
Beautiful job.
Nice build video Andy. Music is chilled and relaxing so thumbs up there
+Armour Empire thank you
thumbs up, music was nice, already waiting for the diograma of this monster vehicle
Justo Obligado he still hasn't. I was also realy looking foward to that too. Here I'll tell him in the top of the comment section.
Wow, My best friend, Thank you for your hard work in making the video. I enjoyed the good video. Have a happy day.
Fantastic work Andy......
Great Job. I liked the classical music
just ordered my first german elephant 1/35 revel kit.. great video andy.
Nice job on the zimmerit, Andy. I built this kit and loved it but the zimmerit was an epic fail for me: I gave up and removed it all halfway through. Keep up the great work!
+Joseph Running III yes it was difficult
Hi ! I'm french and I want to thank you for your very interesting videos, the next tank will be much easier for me (particularly for the tracks).
Good job (good view, all the steps but not long, tips, simple music) !
+Charles Pasquier AND I'm waiting for the diorama ;)
+Charles Pasquier thank you
How the hell can anybody dislike this video!? This guy is showing years of experience for free!!
Nice work Andy ! I am a big fan of your vids. Please keep on the good work. Btw like the new music😄
+Anthony Clemens Thanks
very cool build, I have that kit and zim, so you have helped.me out a bunch, I've always loved tamiya, look just as good as the over engineered kit's, I remember when tamiya was cutting edge kits, can't wait to start on it, only after opening my rye field full interior eastern front tiger I'm getting for Christmas. again very cool build.
+Clayton McClain thank you
great vid, very helpful, thax for sharing.
That's a big hunk of plastic, fiddly work that zimmerit, great end result, well done!
Andy, just watched the video great job with build, paint and music. Looking forward to part two of Sturm111 build,I bought kit after watching yours
+mitchell Bennis Thank you
This smooth Jazz is fine
Andy enjoy the videos, merry Christmas to you and the family.
+mitchell Bennis Thank you
It's a Great Job...!
Добрый день. Мне нравится, как Вы собираете модель. Очень аккуратно. У Вас хорошо получается. Будьте здоровы :)
nice job Andy!
Andy, me likes the classical music. For holes in adhesive zimmerett. Use punch and dye set and burnishing tools
great work got another brand to do but still great to see how you painted it
Nice vid man and good music, can't wait for the diorama video
+Callum Beaver Thank you
ポルシェのハイブリッド❗タミヤさんでは大型のキットで迫力があるよ🐭
Great work. The stick on zimmerit makes it look pretty good. I still prefer to use putty, but that is just me. I am a new subscriber. The build looks very simple. I do love Tamiya models. I own close to 150 built and need to build models. I would say almost half are Tamiya models. Mostly military and aircraft. It's great to see somebody who enjoys the hobby like I do. As for the music. The music you have used sounds good. I would just mix it up a bit. I work in radio and produce a lot of commercials. Each one has it's own music depending on what is being advertised and the voice being used. I saw one comment about how it sounds like he is on hold. I kind of agree with him. Thanks for posting the video.
I'm too busy concentrating on what you're doing to even think about the music, Andy!
Andy, Happy New Year, can't waite to see what you have in store for 2016!
+mitchell Bennis thank you, happy new year
Two thumbs up on the video and the music!
Much better music, had trouble getting "Waltz of the flowers" out my head while building, lol.
nice build
Music is fine Andy. =)
Nice vid and informative.
This channel's a nice discovery! Subbed and liked mate!
+ZeroFilth Thank you
Andy, me likes the classical music!
Very informative thank you
Music is *MUCH* better Andy - nice and relaxed. Also a better volume (slightly lower). It adds ambience rather than dominates the video now...
Another great build and very informative video as ever - many thanks, much appreciated!
Sorry Andy, I forgot my question...
I am thinking of getting this kit and the zimmerit add-on - do you think it would have possible to make those round holes with a pin vice and a small drill bit (placing the zimmerit sheet over something like a soft piece of wood)?
Thanks!
+Michael B that might work well
Hello Andy, I want to start by saying that I really enjoy your videos! I would love to visit the shop, but as I live in South Carolina, the commute is a bit long for me.
At any rate, I liked the 'new' music, but I for one actually preferred the classical music. I would actually like to see a vid on the weathering of this, and i wish that you would have shown more on the zimmerit application and the issues tha you had with it - that was a main reason for watching this particular vid (though I did listen to your comments at the end)
At any rate, very good video, looking forward to more!

+Bruce Robert
here! here!!
Great job Andy. There might be an approach that could make this zimmerit application easier. Sometimes, depending on the type of adhesive, you can apply windex under the sticker. This allows you to slide larger stickers around until you get the right position. Eventually the windex evaporates and the sticker stays put. That might work for that product. Perhaps worth a test sometime? Please keep the videos coming! Cheers
Overall a really nice job on this one....would love to see your diorama when you do it.
Just to point something out, at 7:38 as you show the rear of the vehicle, I noticed you installed the tool box upside down, not a deal breaker but thought you might want to know.
Very nice! Paul
Very nice Video
I like it! reminds me of the 128mm Emil Storer (stubborn emil) self-propelled gun - only two were built and one was destroyed at Leningrad and the other is in a museum in Leningrad - sending photo
Nice channel subbed, and nice video.
+Tiger1AuasfE Thank you
great vid Andy, looking forward to the weathering vid, ...... jazz! ...... hmmmm? but .... it is easy to listen too and doesn't detract from the build, I think you've got the music about right that and the excellent quality of the filming make's it very easy to watch mate.
+Alan Sheppard Thank you I will go back to classic thought I would change it up and see what people think. thanks for watching
Realy nice music!
Good job ur very skillfull!
Well if I was sitting at the dentist office that music would fit right in. But I like the classical better.
Was the tracks like magic tracks also stellar videos
I love the new music
With the paint work it looks like the one from tank restoration
Thanks for this. I am going to try the sticker with the King Tiger. Truth be told I was keen to use the putty and try my luck. The guy at the shop didn't have the putty so told me to try the sticker instead. Watched a few videos with the sticker and it seems to be a nightmare! But lets see.
Hi Andy
Nice music, I request you do a Tamiya Cromwell
très beau résultat ...
You've earned 2 subs: my father and me. We like your building and reviews.
Do your best to build your fan-army.
We will support you.
With love,
Soviet-Lovers from Russia.
+Rodnenki!!! Thank you
I just did my first tank with Tamiya zimmerit and you have to use a new sharp exacto blade to cut out the holes on the zimmerit.
I once got an idea for putting on decals and stickers onto my plane-models - especially for the tough ones .... I am using different pottery tools, like those for drawing lines or gaps into the material - they're made from stainless steel and very small, even those made of wood should work out fine - I don't know what it's called in english, but I got a tool with a small aluminum roll at the front, just like a cake roll but muuuuch smaller, that should do the trick according to the decals you got probs with :)
Andy if you can, please build a small diorama base for this beast of a tank! It really wouldn't do justice to it if it was left alone.
hi Andy, love your channel, but i definitely liked the classical music much more than this "muzak" ;) i'm learning lots from you - thanks. (uk)
Great music ....easy to listen to. this or the other. good choice. there are so many vid's that I have to mute because of some sort of head banger crap they put on.
Well there's a thing. Thought that Zimmerit was stick weld beads on the armour. I wonder if it was thick enough to defeat a magnetic mine. I used a magnet to hold an aerial mag mount on my Land-Rove, aluminium skin. Great stuff, thanks
superbe !
for music I'd go with "Scandal"...a band from Japan...very nice to listen too
Have seen other videos for the tamiya zimmerit and they suggest soapy water to help apply the stickers. Or Markfit but not sure that will help with the bubbles or making it stick on better or longer. 🇨🇦
For my birthday I'm gonna try getting a model (I choose my presents) and I hope to get a 1/35 Ferdinand. I never done modeling but my father did models in the 60s and he said he'll help me.
Oh and Subbed 👍
great kit, build, video and choice of music :)
+paulusm07 thank you
I Liked the classical music.
Another great build and video! I like the music... I think it's a good alternative to classical music. Season's Greetings from Portugal. :)
+BadKarmaPT thank you
I mentioned stick on zimmermit to Steve Zaloga while I was in Sky Books about 30.yrs ago
I used the Tamiya zimmerit on a Tiger 1. It was a big challenge particularly around the mantlet. I fear it will lift over time even after treating with glue around the edges etc...oh well. Back to the putty method I reckon.
I love elefants
Watching you put on those zimmerit strips gave me anxiety haha, but it’s a great looking build!
Your Great
I had the same problem with the tracks had to put extra one in
hye andy!again a nice video! good job with the zimmerit!!i make mine with a soldering iron ;)
what the next vid??tiger???
merry x-mas!!
+Al J Thank you
Nice puts. A little pep to. Your video nice. Job😀😜💝😃😀😜
