Hey all! We're back in sunny Edinburgh! Salem was lovely, and our trip has inspired us to take more journeys for the channel. Let us know where you'd like us to visit next!
Hey hey my peeps, thank you for popping by to join us on another leg of our honeymoon adventure! Hopefully some of you are still pining for Halloween times because.. .that is what you are getting today. ❤︎
👍Thanks for sharing this wonderful trip with us -and compliments @Lawrence who was such an amazing "Private Tour-Guide"!🏳️🌈 Can't wait for the follow-up 😊
I was going to skip Salem. This video may have changed my mind. When researching sites there, it seemed very touristy with witchy shops etc. I assumed that it was capitalizing on the history. This video changed my perspective; I did not know it has been reclaimed.
Greetings Kat! Thanks for covering this town!! My wife and I took a trip to Boston a few years ago and I finally got to see Salem! It is one of my most favorite little towns in the U.S. We LOVE history and spooky places! Greetings from Texas! Now I wanna go back to Salem again. Heck I did NOT know they had a cryptozoology shop! If you like Bigfoot stuff you should check out some of the campfire stories on my channel. :) (Also when I saw your video show up in my feed.. You looked so familiar! ..aren't you from the Better Help commercial? )
We'd love to! York is very high on our list of to-shoot locations, and Wales has been my dream for ages. Will probably have to wait for all the railway strikes to end first, haha .D
Wow... I grew up in the town next to Salem in the 1970s and I hardly recognize it. Back then it was a dreary, working-class city with confusing roads and horrible traffic. It was not in any way a tourist attraction. Amazing...
First of all we love your videos! They are beautifully done and I can't wait to go to Massachusetts. My daughter is dancing around to your music, do you have a name for the song?
At 2:53...it must be a TV Land statue of Elizabeth Montgomery 'Samantha Stevens' of the US tv program 'Bewitched'. I need to visit, as I have visited the statues of Mary Tyler Moore in Minneapolis and Bob Newhart in Chicago.
So beautifully done!! 🎉👏💯🙋♀️ I previously lived in metro Boston and worked in Salem not all that long ago. Sadly I never toured Salem like a tourist. Kicking myself now 🤦♀️
I've been to both. I prefer Salem even though I have ancestors that link me to Boston in 1600s and even came across on mayflower. I believe about 4-5 days is best to get the most out of Salem. Too bad you didn't have more time there's quite a few more cool places to visit. There is a store that has quite a few cryptid paraphernalia there you missed out on. Its worth going again I prefer summer time there. Total different experience but keeping the Halloween vibe. Its awesome to see another group visit Hammond castle. Its great however poor cell service. so if anyone goes have a way back as well as too the castle.
How fun! Looks like a great trip so far! BTW, have you read the InCryptid series by Seanan McGuire? They are fun and lighthearted, think you might like them if you like cryptid stuff
Do you ever do videos of any of the Edinburgh witch markets? They are so frequent and it might be fun for you to try Kalem Turner the palm reader. @fortunebykalem
