Walter not a bully he’s just a grumpy old man 😂. If Jeff ever comes close to you it’s worth every penny to go see him, all the tv specials, and clips on UA-cam are edited and don’t do his talent justice I laughed so hard I was sore the next day.
I have seen him live 5 times, and EVERY show is a different show... The best in the business.
True. Several years ago he was at a casino in Cincinnati. What apparently Jeff's agent didn't know, therefore Jeff didn't know, it was an outside venue. That casino didn't have an indoor theater area. So he is outside, not far from a police station AND a fire station with sirens constantly interrupting his act. Between his comments about that, the venue (or lack thereof) and his puppets I was crying with laughter.

That's what I was wondering, I'm grew up in Louisiana but I lived in Arlington for a couple of years and that area of Virginia didn't have a southern feel to it at all

I am 68 yrs. old, 3rd gen. dairy farmer, farm dissolved as milk prices didn't pay bills. Took employment as an assembler, then Lead Assembler ( 27 assemblers under me) Didn't fit me well, took on the position of a receiver. Retired from the company after 17 yrs. ,Which I will classify as left leaning. I was chosen to be on a team to reorganize the assembly team. My design was chosen, another member of the team set up the receiving computer station without permission, We had a heated argument, both of us were pulled by HR, The other person was reprimanded, but the receiving computer station remained as set up! One year later I retired. I still today have zero respect for left thinking! When associates I worked with call me, they often the ask, how are you doing Walter? I'm doing fine is my reply.
As I no longer have to deal with the stupidity of the left ! By the way, my name is Eric! Not Walter! But the Associates which backed me when I challenged and won against the Left, called Me Walter!

Its south i worked in Winchester Va at Osullivan taking out injection presses but the Mason Dixon line runs thru there i would go to the battlefield where the battle of Kernstown was fought would sit on the wall almost daily smoked some green tobacco i took there from ky with me lol ty for great videos and stoney says hello from Kentucky
I live in Vegas. Summers are BALLS (avg ~115F). But in the late fall and winters, we get to about 85F for a high temp, about 50 +/- for nightly lows, so, pretty comfy. I always tell people that want to visit to aim for late October / early November.
Walter is, and has always been my favorite of his characters. Jeff came to Casper Wyoming a couple years ago and I got a Talking Animatronic Walter that since in the corner of my desk, usually glading at the cats lol.

Back then yes it was. But over the years Virginia slowly has been more northern leaning. For that reason a lot from the Deep South considers Virginia now more northern.

"Rich Men North of Richmond" is a great song and sort of divides the state by not only politics but by north and south, also. I'm from northern Illinois originally but have been living in Arkansas for the past 14 years. There is a great divide between those two regions but the thin line in that song from your state seems universal through out the country.
No. The whole of Virginia is "The South". The north-South divide exists, due to The War of Lincoln's Bruised Ego. Virginia seceded, and joined the Confederate States of America.
West Virginia is part of the north. Those guys were cool with Federal overreach, so they seceded from Virginia, in order to remain in the Union.

Arlington, the DC area, Alexandria is not considered the south by anyone, and if you think it is the south, you're knowledge of that particular area is lacking. The people in the mountains of South West Virginia around Abingdon, Gladesprings, chilhowie, don't even live on the same planet as the people around DC.

@@chrisosborne3679 I'm also from Virginia. I have family in Virginia soil, that was buried long before the Revolutionary War. My Ancestors fought the British in that war, then again in 1812. Later, my Ancestors fought against the tyranny of Lincoln, and his murderous, r*ping, pillaging thugs. I have people buried in Hollywood Cemetery, in Richmond. I have an Uncle who is memorialized at the WWII Memorial in Richmond.
I am very solidly Virginian, as my family has been in Virginia since the very beginning, and like any ACTUAL Virginian, I am acutely aware that Virginia IS, in fact, The South.

Crew, Virginia is a very small, fairly poor railroad town. It's near Farmville, where Longwood College is located. Northern Virginia is basically DC, so it's the North. Richmond is basically the beginning of The South.

Fredericksburg is the North/South line. In 1997 we went there to do a multidenominational outreach for a number for Church's in the area and it was beautiful and encountered people that said it was the south and others that said it was the north soooo it's the line between.😊

I'm from Maryland and it's similar to Virginia here. The whole state is technically in the south, however anything west of the Chesapeake Bay feels like the north and anything east of the Chesapeake Bay feels like the deep south.

That trip, from Atlanta to New York crosses some 5 states. Half of that trip is through Virginia. Crossing Virginia takes the same amount of time as crossing those 4 other states.

After the Civil War West Virginia broke away from Virginia because those in West Virginia were for the Northern side while Virginia was for the Confederate side. And people in both areas knew they would never agree on any political agenda so they voted to become two separate states.

There is no such thing as a northern State with Southern Charm. Virginia is one of the Confederate States. Virginia IS the South. It is, however, a border State. Much like Texas resembles Mexico, close to the border, northerners have done what they can to ruin the northern half of Virginia.

As a state, it's the South, but there is NoVa (Northern Virginia) which feels different from the rest of Virginia and the reason North/South question in the first place. I feel it's usually what's more referenced in regards to DMV (DC, Maryland, & Virginia). I guess think of NoVa to Virginia what Baltimore to Maryland. It's its own thing separate from the rest of the state...
